Day 15 I'm due for my 2nd water change tomorrow. I topped 2 days ago. Still running lights 16-8.. I'm digging the new lights. I have more smell than I ever had this early. Will add more pics when the lights come on.

I tried a sweetner for the first time on my last run and I can't really tell any difference. I was looking for more flavor. Any recommendations of sweetners, or advise on them is welcome.

People swear by them but honestly like you I didn't notice enough difference for the cost involved.... Just use good soil, good light, good love, right temps and rh and don't harvest too early 🌱👍

Looks great, might suggest you bump ppm up a notch closer to 400 also I would top once more after the next node and they both will become monsters. If you have eight main tops you can LST easier for a more even canopy. Good luck

how long do you expect to leave in veg, I let my go for 9 weeks. So i would wait at least 10 days and skip one node before topping again. You should wait till this plant matures before putting into flower. wait till you see alternating nodes. It really depends on how big you want your plant to get and if you have enough light to cover the footprint of the plant. I guess i said eight tops but that would be topping two more times, But if you top just once more you will have four main tops which you can bend over so the side bud sites will get more light. good luck.

@SHAMMYDOG, I've never done the 2nd topping before... how far do you let them grow before topping gain? 300ppm was a good guess, but I will know for sure when I change water tomorrow. Appreciate it!

newb, what are your water temps in your buckets? are you running a chiller? Try to keep them under 70, Or you could go 8 weeks and come down with pythium and kill your whole grow. Just think, you might be blowing hot air from your grow room through your air pump and blowing hot bubbles into your water. What I used to do with your type of setup is put your air pump in a cheap cooler, add some frozen bottles of water. Then you would be blowing in cool air instead of hot air. Goodluck

@SHAMMYDOG, Yes, I m running a chiller. I learned that lesson on my first run. I keep my water at 65 degrees

newb, I would takes some clones now, you will be glad you did when you see the final product. They root pretty easy. Save these genetics.

@SHAMMYDOG, I hear you, but I don't really have anywhere to keep them and I've already picked another for my next run.

One other thing.... make sure you have a good air gap ( maybe 3-4 inches) between the bottom of your net pot and your water, you don't want to to make a "stew" out of your water and get pythium, that would suck. I am a disciple of the grower "freddd". Check out his grows when you got a chance. I use a shallow water dwc with a top fed recirculating rez. Much easier to maintain and no airstones needed. How are you keepin your water from gettin to warm? are you using tap water?

@SHAMMYDOG, 3-4 inches huh? I don't usually have that much but it makes sense. I'll check out freddd! Thanks again!

Hey buddy, great looking laboratory you got there. I’m curious the inlet tube coming in the bottom left corner of that 4 x 4 is that an AC inlet? And if so are you using a portable unit or do you have it rigged up to your house? I’m assuming portable unit and if so what type are you using?

Hydro, are you defoliating? I am a big believer in defolation, more light, more air circulation, less mould. Besides... were growing buds not fan leaves. Also do you have a cheap light meter. I couldn't afford a par meter, so I bought a lux meter, they are very good at judging how low you can drop your light, and where the best coverage is. I try for a minimum 45000 lux up to 65000 for denser buds. Looking good, keep up the good work.
