hydro_newb42 Day 15 I'm due for my 2nd water change tomorrow. I topped 2 days ago. Still running lights 16-8.. I'm digging the new lights. I have more smell than I ever had this early. Will add more pics when the lights come on.

hydro_newb42 I topped a few days ago and looking to top another time before switching to 12-12 (flower). Completed water change today. Plant is moving quickly and already has a strong smell. Very happy with the new lights, I can really see the difference! Great week!!!
I tried a sweetner for the first time on my last run and I can't really tell any difference. I was looking for more flavor. Any recommendations of sweetners, or advise on them is welcome.
People swear by them but honestly like you I didn't notice enough difference for the cost involved.... Just use good soil, good light, good love, right temps and rh and don't harvest too early 🌱👍
hydro_newb42 I thought I would get another week in before switching to flower, but this thing is getting BIG. Switched to 12/12 schedule, and the bud spots lit up overnight and started stretching. It is time the get the first SCROG out.

hydro_newb42 I added the 2nd SCROG this week, though the plant has not grown up to it yet. There was a good amount of stretching this week to go along with a lot of loli-popping. Great run so far.

hydro_newb42 It has been very difficult keeping the temperatures down due to the hot summer weather. It has been over 90 degrees 3 weeks in a row here and I'm running lights during the day... bad combination. These plants haven't slowed down though...

hydro_newb42 It appears my AC unit recovered from whatever was going on. Temperatures are back down to normal. 68 degrees at night and 77-79 during the day (lights).
Hydro, are you defoliating? I am a big believer in defolation, more light, more air circulation, less mould. Besides... were growing buds not fan leaves. Also do you have a cheap light meter. I couldn't afford a par meter, so I bought a lux meter, they are very good at judging how low you can drop your light, and where the best coverage is. I try for a minimum 45000 lux up to 65000 for denser buds. Looking good, keep up the good work.
