Started Jan 2 2018. Started In rockwool to use in a hydro system did end up using it. Put it in soil 1/05/18 after discovering the hydro was running at a108 degrees.
After letting the plant recover after topping at a 2nd node. I let the regrowth grow out and trimmed the two side nodes below off. I pinned down the new growth and after 2 days I have hope that this plant will prove to be a great yield. Alot of people said that i had killed her topping her way to early. Just goes to prove everything has a will to survive!
Coming into week 5 on this girl. She was my experiment who has surpassed all my expectations. I thought i had killed her when she was topped too young. I just bent down all the cola sites and i think she will be ready to flower by next week.
First week of flowering she has really surprised me. After topping her so young she has really impressed me. I pulled her branches apart so the cola can get good light exposure and air circulation. I have trimmed up some leaves to keep her light even. Don't think she will be a high yielder but we will see.
Jeez this girl is just going off. I gave her a haircut so the light can penetrate further. The buds are stacking up nicely. The dark devil did not like being topped. This girl was my topping mainline/fluxx experiment. Proves it's possible but the dark devil I left alone as the control plant looks much denser with bigger fatter buds growing. I'm excited to see her continue on.
Day 49 for this Lady! Her purple color is starting to come through slowly but surely. She is deffiently one of my frosities on the sugar and fan leaves even. She will make some great butter. Her trichome's are still milky white and cloudy. I am so surprised how she turned out. This was my mainlined experiment to see how they would produce and shes looking great. I am waiting for my advanced nutrients finishers in the mail. Im hoping its not too late to give her some finishing touches before the flush. Cant wait to smoke this pretty lady!
Day 56! This beauty is getting so stanky!! I cant even believe how nicely she is finishing up. The branches are just giant sticks of nuggies. I would not ever main line a plant again. But she was fun she will start getting the flush next week. I am finishing them with advanced nutrients and fox farm together she is taking it like a champ. The purple is starting to become super visible. Very excited to smoke her.
Well this girl is 8 wide across and 12 inches across. She was my mainline experiment. She has impressed me the entire time. She has been put into her dark period and plans to chop her are on 3/15 day 72.
Well on day 72 She bite the dust! She smelled much more fruity then the other girl i grew. I would not do a mainline again on her. It was a fun project but it affected my yeild and grow time just too much. She got chopped down this morning and will hang dry in a dark closet for a couple days then be trimmed weighted and reviewed. Thanks for following the journey.
Really excited with how she turned out. I was always told not to mainline auto flower plants and low and behold she came out wonderfully! I assumed i would only get 1 ounce from her and she gave me 1.76 ounces so i would call that a win. She only stood 12 incehs tall and 8 inches across. Will be growing more Sweet seed strains in the future. 0

Yes! I have seen his stuff. I actually tried this technique because of another grower who follows him! idk if they do this with Autos or Photos. After seeing how short the auto period really is I am shocked that I didnt kill her. I have an experiment going in my grow tent. 1 plant is the control and hasnt been touched or trained in anyway. The other Dark Devil is this one and was mainlined method. The other 3 plants are LST trained. I wanted to see which grow and yielded the best for my space. We will see.
@Jaypp,thank you! Can't wait to see what she yields. I guess it's called fluxxing when you stop topping the plant for a full mainline. But I was not risking another topping. Haha
@420_liquidsun, The dark devil i grew that i didn't perform training on and just left her alone yielded 3 ounces dry weight. I thought she performed wonderfully!
@wheedtobeus420, what i see from other growers diary about this strain is, she is not a heavy yielder plant bro! But the potential might be great.. hope you enjoy the smoke..
@420_liquidsun, Thank you! She was denser then i expected since i read they are pretty air buds. They are more airy buds then tightly dense packed. However the stickiness and smell and taste of this plant are off the charts really make up for not being super dense. I would recommend her and i will definitely be growing her again with low stress training.
@Hellhazard, The dark devil i am growing from them is just starting to turn colors as its getting flushed and dark period. The skunk is supposed to be even darker. But who knows at this point lol .
Sweet Seeds provide great genes. I just wish the Red family strains were more prevalent on the Red genetics. Closest I got to red was like what you have here, some rosey colours mixed in.
