(40 cm - 56 cm) 46 cm
Half of the phenotypes showed males preflower first, mostly bottom of the canopy, before starting to produce calyx and pistils near the tops few days afterward.
Gonna keep a close eye on them as weeks goes. π
- Update day 35:
Already removed gently a fair amount of males preflower.
Strain seem prone to mutation on preflowers location, producing multiple calyx and load of pistils for one location and even what appear to be fresh new apex here and there.
@HazeyBobby, mostly first bottom preflowers for a few pheno were males , now they produce actively calyx and pistils but yup watchful eye in the weeks to come π
@HerbalEdu, i just have a T-shirt from Spain, presented with seeds. Peligro Polinizacion (dangerous pollination) is written))).

How annoying to find those males! hope it hasn't pollinated the crop! π€¦ββοΈ good luck over the next few weeks and I'm sure you'll have your eyes glued on this baby π€
@HerbalEdu,
I don't think a lot of effort has gone into the stabilization of strains with both cbd and thc sadly. Idk if you have the desire but you could always breeed your own. Of course a lab to test cannabinoids would help. You'd have to have a place for clones and mothers also.
@HerbalEdu, well you could always simply make extracts/tinctures out of the crop considering the negative impact of seeds is predominantly on the smoke.
@HazeyBobby, yup definetely, spent a fair amount of time removing some more this morning, i hope i won't have to chop them as there is not that much 2:1 cbd thc strain on the market.
Wow unlucky with the male preflowers! I had popped 5 Gorilla CBD from dinafem awhile ago and experienced all very similar plants except for one runt with no issues. One thing I can say though, I have never had issues with overfeeding this strain, been feeding 1300ppm right from 12/12 with no issues or signs of nute burn. Very versatile strain! Looking great so far, you'll be excited to see how frosty they get! Cheers
Thank you for choosing our Gorilla CBD for this Grow Diaries adventure π
We are excited to see what you can do π€
Bring it on π€

5 weeks into bloom and bud production looks fantastic with a crazy amount of trichome coverage π€
Well played so far my friend π
Keep the updates coming π

@@TopShelfStealth23, i have some hermie rather often, again with my last grow one plants started to show balls before calyx and pistil and then produced massively females flower afterward.
@Deltha, I'm happy if that helped you, and don't worry too much even a few seeds in the end can't totally waste your harvest potency. And even if you got many seeds (more than 50) the end product is still appreciable, keep in mind before the 80's it was pretty common to smoke pollinated weed π
@HerbalEdu, Brother, you're amazing, thanks for your time and knowloage, is exactly the same what's happening to me, hope dont get too much seeds at the end.
Thanks you!!
@Deltha, i removed them before pollen was able to spread, but anyway in your case even if a few already drop pollen bottom of the canopy under most apex, calyx and pistils the pollen shouldn't spread as long as your ventilation isn't to strong at their level, if you got some pollen already dropping you can eventually remove it with watered paper towel or sponge.
i had one or two male flower that dropped some pollen on a secondary stem bottom of the canopy without much arm in the end (i didn't even removed it and left it on the stems) even with the small fan blowing air top of the canopy (i had only 5 seeds in the end for 8 plants wich is totally neglectable)
