Will report on smoke and terpenes later on in 3-4 weeks cure! Edit: After a month and a half of curing, she hasn't developed much. Smokes very smooth, burns even, and is pleasant smell and taste wise, but just not what I'm used to. She's very subtle on woody, earthy and herbal tones. Pairs nice with espresso, whiskey, honey liquor. She makes for a pretty balanced smoke to me. I can pack a bigger bowl to get to sleep right away, or microdose through the day and stay active. The dry mouth she left initially is pretty much gone.

We have reached the finish line! Growing her was a pleasure, she never complained at all. Best characteristics: - Tight internodal spaces - Dense buds and good amount of flower sites - Disease and High Humidity resistance - Takes training like a champ - Withstands nutes up to 1.8mS/cm (including tap water EC) Downsides: - She's quite low odor, only stank up a room in her very last week. Let's see what cure brings. - Had to early chop a cola due to stem rot, but with the humidity fluctuations we were dealing with, I would've expected it to spread and worsen, but it stopped dead in its tracks as soon as we chopped. - Roots weren't super developed. They covered the whole 4L pot, but we're quite thin and not a total white block as I've seen before. The ones closer to the beginning of the stem were super thick though. - She showed 4 male pollen sacks, but we got away with no seeds, so that can be considered a win. Learning points: - Don't water so much at the start. - Don't train so early. - Prune regularly, but only a few leaves at a time so as not to stress. - Supplement Silica for stronger stems. - Supplement Mychorizzae for stronger roots. Most important of all, anyone can grow weed! They're super resilient plants and will take a beating and still make it to the end. Plan out your NPK proportions and appropriate EC levels, your light intensity, airflow and humidity, watering, root oxigenation and you will be successful. I studied for about 2 months before starting her, and it really paid off. Overall, this was an AMAZING first grow. We never expected bud of this quality. She was chopped at around 3% amber, and to be fair, the lower buds couldve used another week, but we didn't have space to setup another dry tent. I'll be updating on a smoke report and terpene profile later on. Wet weight: 40g trim 270g bud and stem 0.1g charas hash +3.6g from early harvest cola. Estimating 40g dry weight without the stems. Update: She's in the jars, at a whopping 54.8g!!!! 😁

I'm feeding Bionova Coco Forte A+B which is 8-0-0 and 0-6-12. I'm afraid my buds will be airy due to low P and K dosages. Do you think this will be the case? I was thinking of adding Bionova P20 and K20 to the schedule as she enters flower. Too much or should I go for it?

Hey Mate, I would go slow on that. BioNova is highly concentrated. Do not overdo it! I wouldn't start before week 3 of bloom, when the stretch is over. Your damsel will tell you when she needs more of it. A high K -Value at beginning of bloom will probably kill your plant. Start bloom and see how the Buds develop and then add your booster if you like to. Good luck and happy trails for the rest of the way! Cheerz OimRausch

How would you deal with stem rot at very initial stages? We dusted with cinnamon, sprayed with H2o2, scraped the affected area, wiped dry and coated with candle wax to seal the wound. Check this week's recent diary photos for more details on how it looks atm.

you did well taking care of the root rot, i would keep using chelation agent to break down the problem roots though.

@YungSmoke, awesome! We need more people growing this size setup. It's much harder to research and develop on it than a "regular" sized tent. Happy growing! 😁

@Hemporio_Afghani, turns out after drying the whole thing she weighed in at 54.8g!!! Beyond hyped. 😁

NanoGrowcommented4 years ago
@Hemporio_Afghani, well she probably got stunted a bit since we did her first bend on her 6th day ahah It was probably too early, but it seems to have worked in our advantage. Will check him out bud! Thanks for your words πŸ™ She might yield a bit more, we are counting only 15% of the wet weight with stems. 🀞

@NanoGrow, Autos do better than photo-periods in small spaces because they produce more bud/stem ratio this is a great example of not needing a big space she is a beautiful dwarf did you use any particular techniques to stunt them? (the girls on this end get internodal crushing 2-3 times in a cycle) you should check out "stunted.art #sisterdiscipline" stunted is a disabled vet who does some great miniature auto-flowers kudos on a job well done 43g!

Looking great! Noticed the phone plugged into power source and got curious; is that just so you can keep an eye on her thru some sort of WiFi feed, a baby monitor of sorts?

@NanoGrow, nice! I was setting up something similar with an old go pro, but the camera got quite hot after a while, so be keen to see how you go once you've landed on a workable setup later!
NanoGrow
NanoGrowcommented4 years ago
@YungSmoke, yea exactly. We did it this week, but took it out as it became too much of a space constraint ahah will get a tiny flat dlink cam later though. We were using AlfredCam app. Can be monitored from anywhere, anytime as long as you have interner.

@MrHightimes, yea I've only seen a few other cases, and by the time it was spotted it was much more advanced. It's a bitch!! Look at your stems too, not just buds and leaves.

Shame about the chop, but better safe than sorry as you say, and looks like she'll still yield decent!

@YungSmoke, yup.. Can't beat the weather without a dehumidifier πŸ˜… Seems to be under control now. Plus, we get some early samples of how she'll smoke. Still praying for over an oz dry, don't wanna get my expectations too crazy high ahah! πŸ™

Following along as also growing in a small space 40x40x100! Not quite your size tho. For a space that small, pc fans will work very well and will be almost silent (if they aren't too cheap lol). See my week 6 for videos of before and after upgrading my grow light fan to reduce noise. I also use two of them on my intake. For your extractor fan you want a variac speed controller Β£75. To slow it enough to be a comfortable noise level but to still be fast enough for extraction without hum. If you don't mind a constant hum of your fan you can get a cheaper fan speed controller Β£20 which will still work. I also use a 4" extractor fan and never run the fan above 30% and thats through a 4" rhino pro filter. Hope this helps in some way. Good luck and happy growing!

NanoGrowcommented4 years ago
@HighFromHome, thanks for the input buddy! I've been told by an electrician that this fan just isn't made to withstand more than 10-20% voltage lessening without becoming unstable. Atm if I hover my hand over it, it goes all crazy trying to compensate. I'll eventually get a silent fan that's slightly higher speed (this one at 100% is 107m3/h), so that I can stack a filter on top. I also suspect part of the problem is not enough intake, as my only air entrance is in the back, almost against the wall, hence why I'm getting the PC fans, one to help pull air in, another to circulate it to the top to aid the extractor. I'd run it at full speed, but living in a studio the noise becomes unbareable. Thanks for the tips! I'll check it out and follow yours along too!
