First week of an outdoor OGKZ fast flowering. Heard such good things about this set of genetics. The plan is to mainline.
30-35 day veg
65 day flower
Means an ending at the end of September.
Probably going to move this up to a 5 and shuffle around in the fruit trees
I cannot believe the difference a week makes.
Going to full dose on current nutrients this week then we will step it up by slowly adding in the 0-1-1 Humic and cal mag.
The plan is to put in ground or larger pot sometime this week as root tips are just starting to show at the bottom of the 1 gallon.
Have not treated the plant for bugs yet so the local aphids had a taste. When I move up in size I will treat with my 3-1 all ‘cide’
The plan is for mainline once we reach 6 nodes so I’m hoping that will be the development for next week.
Happy growing!!!
I should have taken a picture before I cut it for mainline. Moved it to a 4 gallon pot. 4 gallon was an awful choice. Sometimes doing things sober is the better idea.
Grow big
Recharge
Calmag
All in limited doses since I cut the thing in half.
This week saw the recovery from the mainline formation. The knuckles and branches are taking off. I can’t wait to keep developing this one with LST.
In another week we will be sending it into the ground.
Sunday/Friday watering-
Grow Big
Recharge
Calmag
Tues-
A+B synthetic with 3% mineral loading
Diamond nectar humanic
I finally just moved this one into the ground. Should has just done this in the first place instead of wasting time with the 4-gallon pot. It has reached the 6th node for the second cut of the mainline process so I will be topping it another round here in the next couple days. It is coming along nicely and I am hoping to get it to a great size by the end of this month.
Up to 30 ml on both Fox Farm items
Recharge 1 teaspoon every 5 days
Synthetic and CalMag once a week also
Everything is moving along. The mainline has developed well and the new growth has been pretty good. I have not topped the second set yet and have reached a point I am not sure that I will. Our 12 hour light schedule has started and I worry about setting it too far back by doing something like that at this point. Should have started about two weeks before I did. I will probably do some research and review of other grows to see if I can make an educated choice. The plant has recovered really well from every stress point, very happy about early resistance characteristics. If you want anymore picture or have questions just ask.
Hugs, buds and love!!
I decided against another round of topping because of possible time constraints. Opted to work the LST and use that to really push the development around. The plant is doing great and has added so much in just a week. The shape, definition and resistant all seem on point. No small beyond the normal veg but she is starting to get the pre-flowering formations. I mistook this strain for an auto in the beginning and am paying for that now with the size. still should be pretty great though.
Weather has been milder with higher levels of humidity. We have had an influx of rain over the past 7 days that has really helped everything.
Dropped the Grow down to 1/3 and added Tiger bloom at 2/3 and Bud Candy carbo as well.
Excited to see the next phase develop!
Cheers and good luck friends!
8/15/20-
Weather has been hot a dry 85-90 and 60-70 at night depending on conditions. No water but this plant is in the garden so it sees some every day. Slight smell but nothing too fragrant. I hope I can do it some justice.
Ferts 3 x a week with .5 gal of regular water in between. Forming great looking flowers. I will try for a lollipop look and perform some HST on the small branches you can see lower in the middle. No significant smell but the plant looks great. I will try to update with some better pictures after the HST.
8/25/2020-
Weather is 85-90 during the day with 62-70 at night. Humidity is 65-75 and 85-100% respectively. With light rain mixed in sporadically. Still requires about a gallon a day.
Tricomes and flowering have really started to come on. The plant is just developing so fast for how behind it was. Smell is great, disturbing it to look at it creates such a great fragrance.
Pretty sure we are around 21 days. I’ll try to get a couple more photos soon my phone is being a turd.
Peace love and hugs!!
8/27/20- added some flowering pics. Couple good days of warm rain.
8/30/2020-
Another week and she just keeps adding weight, density and trichomes. The smell has become fragrant enough that you can smell this plant within a couple feet which is impressive for how small it is. Currently 25-30 days of flowering which means I have about another 20-25 to go which is pretty exciting. I will probably wait another week then do my last round of defoliating.
Nutrients have gone up a notch to make sure she is being fed enough. The plan is too pull all nutrients by 9/11/2020 to make sure we are not affecting the final taste.
Weather has been 80-85 during the day with 58-63 at night. Humidity is 65-70 during the day and 80-90% at night. Late in the week we experienced strong storms and heavy rains for 4 days in a row. I was worried about the branches but the mainline held without an issue and this baby just keeps on getting thicker.
Overall just really happy with this plants performance and I will be looking to expand my garden with some HSO genetics next year.
Any questions just ask!
Peace, hugs and love for your garden!!
9/7/20-
Another week closer to the end. Weather has been pretty wet with more days of rain then not. Day time temps around 75 with close to 100% humidity 24/7. Thankfully this little lady is in a spot all her open with plenty of open air and good drainage. I have not had to worry about any issue with bud rot or bugs to date. Her smell has been heavily diminished from the high rainfalls which is a bit of a bummer but when you get in close there is no mistaking the punch this plant will be delivering. I think we are right around 32 days of flowering roughly. Today is going to be her last feeding based off of the 45 day flowering recommendation. We will be performing a flush for 14 days to try and get her natural taste up and everything cleaned out.
Really excited about this plant and to test the final product of an HSO genetic line. I just wished I had taken the proper time to do this plant true justice. Her rebound and ability to take any punishment I pursued to get the best yield I could while trying to learn how to mainline in such a short time was great. The resin is starting to drool from this thing.
Hopefully the weather cooperates and we can get a good flush in and bring this little lady home. I'll try to get more structure oriented pictures later in the week when it isn't pouring rain.
Peace, hugs and love! May she always shine on your garden!
She started to chunk up really fat. Weather has been pretty shitty. Wet rainy and cold with little sun. Thankfully she just kept adding weight and getting gooey as hell.
I had to chop the right side cola because of bud rot. Only a small part but I wasn’t letting it spread. Trichomes are coming in heavy.
All nutrients have stopped and I’ve done some flushing but the natural rainfall has done most of the work for me.
Great strain!! This will be a returning one for sure. I feel lucky to have hit a skittles tasting pheno for sure, I gave 2 cuts to a friend and we are pretty excited to continue this one indoors. Would recommend giving it a try.
