Hello everyone
Welcome 🙂
We are at the end of week n°2 in flowering cycle for this gorgeous , CHUPACABRA 🌳🍭🐐
Breeding by Microgenetica seed bank { Italian made }
Wow, she is very quick to produce flowers
The reduction of the hours of light in a progressive way has certainly affected 👌
22..18..16..14 and finally 12h on
At the beginning of the second week I defoliated and cut some secondary branches to move all its energies towards the main colas..
They are now 20, more or less all at the same height 🙌
As you already know she is growing up in Living soil 🔥
In reality, the soil becomes alive only after a process of preparation of the soil, which lasted about two months..
Basically I created a recipe using various elements, but very different from Subcoool's Super Soil..
Very little of animal origin, practically only krill and humus..
The rest rock powders, algae, calcium and inert materials for excellent oxygenation in the root zone..
I have been using this method for just under two years and I still have to improve it 🤓
In addition to this, I still use some liquid organic stimulants to increase the needs of the plant 🌳
In addition to various beneficial bacteria and fungi..
This week, for example, I added piranhas and tarantula to increase life in the soil
I then used a surplus of calcium and magnesium, potassium silicate, aloe vera and fishmix ..
Unfortunately, despite the various treatments with neem oil and potassium soap, the thrips have not disappeared 😡
The strange thing I noticed is that these infamous bastards do not attack all plants in the same way, indeed some do not attack them at all, despite being in the same cultivation environment..
I state that my grow-box is always very clean and ventilated 24/7 365 days a year..
So as an environment it's quite ok, I don't really know how they can still survive 🤔
However, I have never noticed too obvious problems despite this..
Anyhow
A few days ago I cut her sister, grown in a totally organic way, into 6l root pouch and I must say that she is really a genetic bomb 💯💯
Top level structure and inflorescences..
Hints of Cheese, but it's not a cheese 🧀✖️❔
More complex bouquet
The latest photos are of her 😉
And that's it for this week
Thanks guys for stopping by 🙏
See you in week number three of flowering cycle 😎👍
Ciao ✌️
🇮🇹
@HazeyBobby,
She thank you 🌱🙏
To be honest this strain isn't for LST I think..
I have another one , but no diari , and she grow in normal way and is beautiful for now..
But the fact is she tend to mantaine the predominance in the principal cola , even now after I have topping (right now I watching her during answering you😁)
For that reason I think she can will be good for a SOG from seed
🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
Anyway..
I hope in the end to create the structure I want
Thanks again 👍👍
@MRwick1,
Coffe it's very good ☕
I needed something that acted fast, without liquid bottle organic/not..
However..
Now, after the top dressing, I am making a tea with guano, molasses and at the end I will add some aloe vera ..
We will see 🙂
Thanks mate 👍
@Belverde,I had top dressed with worm castings about a month ago to try and help, and it might have been slow to help, but it did help as I didn't see new problems on other leaves. I also top dressed with coffee grounds for the N, again seemed to help
Thank you @DreamOn,👍👍
Yeah she's beautiful, but I have do some mistakes...the other one I have grow without show any diary it's definetly better in bud structure and yeld :)
Thank you @HirdoWeirdo 😉
I have make some mistakes, probably dued to my living soil...but the strain it's very very nice and Microgenetica works well...less marketing, high grade strain with a real selection behind :)
Estás usando trampas amarillas para los trips? Son muy eficientes. También puedes usar tierra de diatomeas en la parte superior del sustrato y como riego foliar, las diatomeas destruirán el aparato digestivo del trip.
@deFharo,
Thanks mate of the advice 👌
Yes yes I have yellow traps and also blue ones, but there is nothing to do ..
The strange thing is that they don't attack all plants ..
For example my five Kalini Asia and Utopia Haze were not attacked ..
This Chupacabra I did seven times the treatment with neem oil and potassium soap, they seemed to have disappeared, but nothing to do ..
In the end it is never too big a problem
But I have to be able to make them disappear completely
I also keep the ventilation always on, which should bother them, but nothing to do ..
I also continue to use silicon to make their job more difficult ..
Thank you so much for the tips 😉👍👍
