Well, my G13 Peach Puree didn't pop sadly :( it was an absolute monster last time and a lovely smoke - highly recommend for CBD fans.
Was hoping to get a harvest in before end of September so went with this. Same THC:CBD ratio as G13 Peach Puree but an auto. Much win.
Might do a cheeky quadline on it, depending how she goes, you know... for science.
Currently in tiny pot, will transplant asap. Have got a larger pot with full of cocoa and perlite which has been treated with calmag ready to go.
Also have a new 600w led lamp coming to add to the tent bringing it up to 1000w total. Boom!
Not much to say really this week.
She's growing well. Have an oscillating fan in the tent to make sure she grows a nice sturdy stem.
Minimal nutes at the moment. Will step it up to GHE first leaves dosage today I think.
And she's off like a rocket!
Turning her towards the light as she starts to crane towards it a bit.
Really happy with how she's doing. Have ordered some more Dinafem seeds due to how she's started so strong.
Gorllia CBD, Industrial plant CBD and Moby Dick CBD all on their way! Will also be picking up a TS2000W when I can.
Happy growing!
What a beauty! I am SO happy with this little cutie.
This is the nicest, strongest, best looking plant I've ever grown. She's doubled in size this week and has a super solid looking stem already.
I'm not touching her at all. Just going to let her run wild for the moment. May do some LST if she becomes troublesome in future but for the moment - nada.
Outstanding work from Dinafem.
Growing like an absolute monster. What a babe!
She was gettign so bushy I need to trim some fan leaves and do a little LST. She bounced back no problem at all.
If this baby has the right qualities when smoked she'll become a regular grow.
Little calcium deficiency showing so added a half dose of calmag for a few days and she seems happy again.
More defoliation needed, just o clear up those bud sites as she's in preflower now.
Switch nutes to Preflower.
She's an absolute joy to watch this one. Strong and vibrant. Bounces back from each defoliation each time as if it was nothing. Beautful plant. kudos to Dinafem.
She looks so GOOD!
Starting to stretch out a bit, not much but a little. She's quite a bushy one.
Looks so healthy and vibrant and she's very, very healthy.
Still giving her a half dose of calmag and there's no sign of deficiency anywhere now.
Smells nice, quite woody but not a huge amount of smell at the moment.
No more defoliation, just tucking leaves back where I can. really want to see what she comes out like with the minimum of training. I'm now a big fan of Dinafem genetics!
She's a beaut!
Having some real issues with humidity with the weather, so bit the bullet and gave her a good defoliation yesterday. Took off loads of leaves and some of the lower bud sites.
Really didn't want to but the RH was getting up to 80% and I'd rather lose some bud not whole plant.
She doesn't seem bothered though. Still as glorious as she's always been.
When I grow her again I'll quadline her as she's so damn strong I think she'll take it in her stride. Given how robust she is I've actually done some pretty extreme topping and triimming on my Industrial Plant CBD and she's bursting with life. I'll update that diary on Monday so check it out! :)
Her kolas are stretching out of the main bush structure and starting to thicken up.
Humidity still too high due to the weather and my dehumid just can't keep up but the plants seem happy enough. No sign of mould or mildew.
A couple of pistils are going brown already but trichomes are all in early stages of development.
Not much smell from any of my girls, there's 3 in the tent all in different stages of flower. When rubbed the widow gives off a sandalwood aroma with a touch of citrus. Looking forward to getting this one harvested and cured!
Just a few more weeks and we should be there. Wife getting a bit low on medicine so glad I grew the other cbd strain to see her through until this is ready.
Happy days! :)
Buds are thickening up and pistils turning brown all over the place. Check out the supermacro shot of the main kola. She's gonna get thick!
Lovely clear and milky trichomes around the place. Keeping an eye out for the ambers to appear.
Strictly speaking she has another two weeks until harvest but I'm keeping a close eye on her.
Will probably start flushing this time next week.Exciting times!
She's swelling up nicely and start to get frosty. Was going to start flush but there's no sign of any amber trichomes so going to wait a little longer.
Amber trichomes have appeared and started the flush on day 72.
Found a few more mouldy spots and chopped them off and binned them to minimise risk.
She's ready to harvest on day 75. Check out the page for details.
Really easy to grow. But highly recommend some defoliation throughout. I left her alone, not even LST and as a consequence the denseness of all her leaves and buds contributed to some mold. Lost about 5 good branches of solid bud :( But that's on me, so a solid 10/10 for Dinafem genetics.
Overall, very easy to grow. Quite a small little bush but very, very dense. Highly recommend defoliation and LST to keep airflow up as she's a chunky monkey.
600g wet weight is great considering I had to ditch around 5 big buds due to mould. :( would have been upwards of 700g easily otherwise.
I will update the dry weight when dried and cured in a few weeks.
DRY WEIGHT:
I did take a bud for early harvest to test the high and it's properly chilled. Very relaxing, no intense head high, just a nice aid for sleep and relaxing after a hard day.
Flavor is quite woody and earthy, I prefer more citrus flavors so that'd be the only thing stopping me from growing this strain again. Lots more to try first!
Think the lights played a great part in this grow - mars hydro ts2000w for the win. Super happy with them. Great to work in and pictures so much easier to take. Ran the light at around 70% power for most of it only bringing them up to the full 300w for the last couple of weeks.
