This will be again a 100% organic grow. No synthetic fertilizers or other chemicals !!!
This time i will try out the US breeder "Ethos Genetics". The "Orange Kush Cake R1" looks like a nice mix of some legendary US Strains and i'm looking forward to some cake/cookie/kush goodness. 🍰 🍪 😜
I put 10 seeds into EazyPlugs and after 2 days i had 90% germination rate. For the first 2 weeks i will use only the Guanokalong Complete Mix Soil with some additional humic acid and mycorrhiza.

It's day 11 and the small plants growing very well. I can see already some roots popping out of the Airpots and I will transplant them to the 8,5 L pots after 14 days.
During the veg phase i use the "Fulvital Plus" additive and you find more informations about it here: https://www.humintech.com/agriculture/products/fulvital-plus-liquid
On day 15 I planted the girls in the 8.5 l autopots. The plants grow very strongly and I have already topped them above the 5th node. The root development was also very strong and I think this time I need a few days less for the vegetative season.
This time I'm experimenting with a mixture of pearlite and cork for the substrate. I expect a fluffier, airier and less wet substrate that will allow better rooting.
The overall mix for my subtrate is:
5 L FLOrganics
18 L Guanokalong Complete mix
9 l Coco
10 l Cork
15 l Pearlite
It is the 28th day and the ladies show slight abnormalities. 👻
3 days after repotting, I noticed small yellow discoloration on the bottom leaves. I suspect the soil mix was a little too strong for the small plants or what do you think ?
Hey friend, I don’t think that you have nutrient burn.I don’t know which plant you are referring to.I think you have nutrients lock out(some yellowish colour leaves)and nitrogen toxicity(some clawing leaves)due to improper soil pH and excess of Nitrogen in soil.Also 30C temp causes the plant to take up more nutrients that is widely available in your present pH and causing the Nitrogen toxicity.You check your soil and it should be around 6.0~6.5( run off).Happy Growing.. ✌️

Thank you so much for your help. 🙏😊 I think it was a magnesium nutrient lock out, triggered by too much potassium. I sprayed some water with Epsom salt on the leaves and it looks like it is getting better. 👍😉

I'd say the leaf symptoms are definitely looking like a magnesium deficiency , fortunately you caught it before it started getting a lot of brown spots and progressing further up the plant. After doing your few foliar applications you might want to add some dolomite lime to the soil so it can have a steady supply over time. Just be mindful that lime products will raise the soil ph slightly. Otherwise you can always use the Epsom salt for watering the soil periodically as well.
I can't say if it was the potassium lockout, or possibly the ph is off. If you continue to see more leaf troubles you might want to consider checking the runoff ph to verify it's in the right range.

the tent was getting full enough to let the party started. 🎉 😜 This week i did a defoliation session to get the girls prepared for the flowering time. One day later i switched to 12/12 and another 2 days i started to use a net to get the stretch under control. Smell is already promising 🍪 🎂 😍
Hey Guys, everything looks fine so far. The girls stretching very strong but i got them under control. I will start to use some Amino Acid and BioTabs PK products very soon, to push the girls stronger to flowering. 🌸 🌺 🌹

Hey guys, the girls responding very well on the defoliation and the tent is getting full again very quickly. The smell is getting stronger everyday and some buds have nice hints of oranges. This week i will raise the nutrients level even more and start to use the "Bio Tabs Compost Tea". 🍻 😜

I'm not sure why some plants already getting light green leaves and other plants are still dark green. Should i feed the light green plants more stong than the other plants ?

The mainbuds are not the biggest yet but the plants stacking a nice amount of nuggets. 👌
I overfeed the plants maybe a little bit last week. I think they will have enough food until the end and from now on i will use only Alfa boost as an additive. 😊
Hey guys, looks like we coming slowly to an end. 💀 The girls starting to fade and getting more and more frosty. ❄️ I will start soon the uv-b light penetration for the last 2 weeks to push the trichomes into overdrive. The smell is getting very strong and no surprise... it smells like strong a kush cake with hints of oranges 🍊 🍰 🍪

Hey Guys, we getting close. 👌 😋 The three plants on the back looking like ready to harvest in one week and the other plants need maybe two weeks more. I took some sample buds today and looking forward to the first orange kush cake smoke next week. 💨 😍
Hey guys, there are still not much amber trichomes on the Headbuds and the girls still drinking a lot. So I will wait another week until i can harvest the first 3 plants. I just had the first smoke from the test buds and it have an amazing smell/taste. 😍 First time a Strain name is matching so much with its smell/taste. 🍊 Kush 🍰 !!!
I had 4 different phenotypes out of 9 plants and that made the whole grow a bit more difficult than usual. The harvest time was variating a bit too much as well as the fertilizer needs. 5 plants (Pheno 1 & 2) have realy nice buds and harvest together 274g.
The other 4 plants didn't had such a nice buds and harvest together 216g.
Pheno1 (3 plants 150g) is my favourite because its exactly what to expect from the strain name. Strong and amazing combination of Orange, Kush and Cake. Buds looking great. Early finisher.
Pheno2 (2 plants 124g) is my second favourite. Strong and sweet Kush Cake taste but missing the amazing hints of orange of pheno1. Buds looking great. Medium early finisher.
Pheno3 (3 plants)
Sweet, more fruity and less Kush Cake. Overall not so strong and impressive like the first 2 phenotypes. Buds not looking so great. Late finisher and to many foxtails.
Pheno3 (1 plant)
Had a very strong earthy kush taste without any sweetness or fruityness that the other phenos have. I like the taste a lot but the buds looking shit, it was low yielding, a late finisher and to many foxtails.
