Week 10 Things seemed quite precarious there for a few weeks. We honestly weren't sure if Plant #1 was going to make it and we had all but written off Plant #3 (tall girl) as expecting nothing more than lanky, airy buds. Fortunately, both of those concerns are slowly being put to rest. Plant #1 is still in a bit of rough shape but the buds are filling out and maturing. We're hoping the leaf damage isn't going to be detrimental to the bud quality... Plant #3 (tall girl) is also slowly filling out, although it looks like she could still use a couple more weeks, whereas Plants #1 and #3 are getting very close. We'll have to try to split the difference when we decide to chop, since we aren't able to stagger our harvests. We use the same tent for drying/curing as we do for growing. We hope we can find a balance between giving Plant #3 (tall girl) enough time to mature, and not letting the other two go on for too long. We plan to only water Plant #1 and #2 with plain, dechlorinated tap water for the next week, hopefully planning to harvest early next week. Plant #3 on the other hand will likely get one more feeding to try and push a little more bud growth. We're continuing to run our lights on a 19-on/5-off schedule. Day 64 - smell has gotten much stronger. We're not really getting a lot of that typical "cheese" smell but the smell is nonetheless very pleasant, very pungent and seems to increase in complexity every day now. - we reduced the light intensity a small amount, from about 95% to 92%, as we noticed a little bit of light stress/burn showing up in Plant #3. - pulled a few more dead/dying leaves from the bottom of Plant #3 Day 65 - watered Plant #1 and #2 with plain, dechlorinated tap water, pH adjusted to 6.6. - watered Plant #3 with a 450ppm nutrient solution. This is likely to be the last feeding. Day 66 - lowered Plant #1 by about 5" by removing the stand it was on. Leaves are badly damaged and looking very rough. - all 3 pots are feeling quite light and will likely be watered tomorrow. Day 67 - wow! The colours in Plant #2 really came out over the last 24hrs and the smell is very sweet and very strong. - we decided not to water today after all. - Plant #3 is finally starting to stack up a little bit better. The buds still aren't very dense though and i can see Plants #1 and #2 finishing 7-14 days before Plant #3, which will be a challenge for us since we normally use the same tent for drying. Day 68 - watered all 3 plants with plain, dechlorinated tap water, pH adjusted down to 6.6. - watered each plant until runoff (approx. 10% runoff) - removed dead leaves from bottoms of Plant #1 and #3. - lowered air temperatures by 2-3 degrees via air conditioner, 78F (lights on), 69F (lights off). Day 69 - Plant #2 showing amber trichomes Day 70 - today is the last day of light for these ladies. We are going to provide 48hrs darkness before we chop. - Plant #2 is showing about 50% amber trichomes... A little more up top, a little less below. - Plant #3 could definitely use a bit more time but we're going to go ahead and harvest anyways. See you back here in a couple days to document the chop! ✌️
