Sitting under a 65w bulb until my 600w LED grow light gets here. Two more germinating for good measure.
Bigger grow light is here. Transplanted into hydroponic bucket. Had the drip on but I feel like she’s drowning? First grow here!! Any advice helps! Does she look droopy or is that normal? Turned off the drip and waiting for the roots to reach the bottom to turn on air stone below.
Already learning so much! Had to help remove the shell head. Which is why one of the seed leaves is not there. Hoping this won’t effect the plant too much. First grow here!
If you a high quality air pump in your hydroponic system... It's very hard to "drown" a seedling.. Iv'e mucked around with a few flow rates.. I think there is a point of too much but if it's in rockwall.. and your not inputting water directly into the rockwool like I am.. Then your most likely bang on.. A lot of plant suffer because people in hydroponics are adding nutrients too early.
Does this look like light burn and maybe a lack of nutrients? Also can someone confirm that she’s a female or is it too early? I am first timer and think I see her lady parts already.
he is exactly right in my opinion... your light is not too close.. Your light could even go closer.. but just keep it the same height for a while and stop letting the water stay on the leaves.. The affected leaves will not get better and yup that's about that.
Can't tell until mid week 3 usually. Just remember, if you see the two white hairs coming out, you got a female. If you see a cluster of anything or no white hairs, it's a male. We're all here hoping you get some beautiful girls!!
No hairs yet (or very tiny) but in my experience males do not growth new branches on each node as yours, so a girl IMHO.
Keep on the great care!
Happy smokes!
My plants aren’t very tall. About 5-6inches tall and ten inches wide. I have been trying different techniques on each plant. What are your overall thoughts on plant health and readiness to flower? I’m thinking 60 days/ week 8. Thanks!
Really all depends on the final height you want and the amount of time you're willing to put in.
For indicas, they will more than double in size after you flip your lights. Your 6 inch plants will probably top out at 15-20" if you flip now.
Sativas would top off somewhere around 25-35" if you flipped now.
Vegetative growth is much slower also. If you want to let your indicas hit 10" before flipping, it would probably take 1-2 more weeks of veg. Then 8-10 weeks in flower. It's worth the extra time for the extra yield if you can afford to wait.
