Hi, one of the seedling showing brown spots at the edge. Seedling hasn't been feed yet and its 2 weeks old. Was planning to start feeding tomorrow when soil become dry. Can this be deficiency or too much heat? thx.

If it's in soilless my guess is it's looking for nutrients. Usually you need to feed right away a very very small ppm amount of nutrients. 🤟😜

Since this one seedling show brown spots/ lack of nuts, should i start feeding now (soiless medium) while still moist.. or wait until completely dry?

This one is using Advance Nutrient half strength. The bottom leave is very dark green and thick. Is this due to too much N?? other plants color is not as dark green as this; just this particular one. is this normal? thanks.

I wouldn't worry too much yet. New growth will often be lighter for awhile. If you just started nutes, she's fine I'm sure. If you started a week ago or more, you probably started too early and she got too much N. Either way, you should be fine now doing what you're doing.

I spotted light brown spots on big bottom leaves. Can this be lack of calcium? i used tap water with ph at 6 (soilless medium; peat moss + perlite).

So it doesn't look bad yet...but it definitely looks like a calcium deficiency in the making. With growing soiless i know the ph needs to be lower, but calcium usually absorbs best closest to 6.2, you can probably get away with the 6 but maybe need some additional calmag supplements. coco coir always needs higher calmag doses i wonder if that applies to all soiless mediums...the peat/perilite combo. I'd try boosting it up a bit, even just 1 dose a week and see if it spreads anymore.

The suckers are new growth tips and will turn into new colas. I will usually pull off the new growth tips that grow beneath the branch and let any of the ones on the sides or top grow out. For a proper mainline I think you're going to want to pull off all of the growth tips before the nodes you top at. Here is probably the most informative and thorough website I've found on topping/mainlining/manifolding: https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/how-to-mainline-cannabis-plants/ Good luck in your grow, your plants look good!

Hi I am forced to grow outdoor. Plant is at end of 2nd week flowering. For out door, is it okay for normal rain to wet the buds.. I am afraid of mold at the end of all the hard work. Anyone one have tips/advice for outdoor, please reply. Greatly appreciated:)

Hi, Your plants will be fine but try not to get them too wet. Once it stops raining shake the plants really well to get rid of the water accumulated in the bud sites. Also, The plants can get over water so make sure to not leave them under the rain for too long or mold, stem rot, bud rot and other problems can happen. Happy harvest🌱🌱🌱🌱👊

Hi all, I couldn't find the answer while searching for this. Can you do mainlining + scrOG (all flat) outdoor? For outdoor do I just let it grow naturally like a Christmas tree ????? Thanks for reading

Benefits are a wider plant and it you manage to open her up well the light penetration increases because of the extra space inbetween the leafs, the rotating sun only helps even further because it can shine from different angles and develop the plant even more on the inside so not only the tops get bigger but the buds thst would otherwise be more covered in therr will aldo get bigger.

Hi one of the 3 plant (same strain) leave stem is very purple looking. Is this due to deficiency? There was strong winds few days ago, can this be stress? Current ph is at 6.2 in soiless medium. Should I increase ph for mag to absorb easier? Please advise and thank you in advance

Could be a P deficiency, but could be genetics too. Raising P is dangerous. If ~50-60ppm, don't go higher. Assume it is genetics. Otherwise, you will likely lockout numerous other necessary elements. LED lights are notorious for this. If all other things are fine, I wouldn't worry.

weather been bad all week (cloudy, windy and cold; 9 celcius at night and 14 during the day). I tarp as much as I can when its windy. All plant show some kind of deficiency. Is it nit or mag because of the red leave stems? SoilesMedium is still not dry and it's been 5 days. Advic

One of the plant leaves are turning dark purple (compare to the other plant with the same strain). This one is a bit different because I added molasses (molasses did make more crystal; will compare result next week jornal update) while the other is without molasses. Check pict

Judging by the temperature you're recording in your diary, it could be temp related even if it's the only one doing it. - Purple colour isn't really a bad thing, it's simply the plant switching out chlorophyll for anthocyanins, which lets the plant absorb a broader spectrum of light, tho less efficient.

yes those suckers will turn into colas too, just keep in mind that more colas does not mean more yield. it is a matter of wanting less, but bigger colas or the other way around.
