Starting to droop pretty badly, so I'm thinking it needed a good watering. It had been about a week and I have such low RH. So I water until about 20% run-off. Hopefully it livens up soon! No nutes yet as the soil is FFOF with 20% perlite added.
1 day after watering, Whitey seems to be looking better. Still quite droopy but I'm hoping as the soil dries and the roots continue to grow it'll perk up. But I'd say an improvement over yesterday for sure!
Update:1/10- certainly looking better by the day! Getting my temps dialed in a bit more too, keeping it a bit warmer. RH is still an issue but I think I'm just going to have to roll with it.
1/15 still a bit droopy for no reason I can pinpoint but otherwise looking very healthy! Will start introducing the AN PH perfect trio next water cycle, but at half strength at most.
1/19 watered and added AH trio at 1/4 strength, but leaves are looking worse and worse. Thinking the bottom of my bucket might not he draining enough, so I elevated the pot and hope that'll help rectify it. Thinking the base was still overwatered while the rest of the pot was dry.
1/22 Day 29: things are getting worse. :( Showing nute burn now, so I moved the light about twice as far away and flushed today with PHed water but no extra nutes. But she's a girl and has started flowering, so yay for that!
1/24 Day 31: still droopy but flush seemed to work as new grows show a lot less nute burn. Decided to LST a bit. Sorry pics sort of suck.
1/25 Day 32: sorry again for a bad pic, but you can see, 5 nodes getting way more light that should lead to some good bud sites. Pretty happy with the LST results already!
1/27 Day 34: still droopy as fuck, but LST is working wonders! My one bud site is up to I think 7 now, with probably 4 or 5 more to come with the additional lst I did. It's addicting! Bought some AN revive I'll use next feed that will hopefully help fix my drooping issues.
1/31 Day 38 - pictures before water with 3ml of Revive, hoping that will help with the droopiness. Definitely not over-watering so I'm still stumped. I'll probably try to add the AN trio back in next water as well.
2/4 Day 42 - watered early on the 2nd and added in the trio as well as used revive again. She's looking a lot better! Temps are still a battle but I'm hoping her nutes are getting dialed in now. At least the LST worked like a dream!
2/7 Day 45 - oh what a difference a week makes! She's looking better everyday. The new growth is looking perfect and even some of the older leaves seem to be recovering a bit. The plan is just to keep the nutes the same for now, and just let those buds bulk up!
2/12 Day 50: it's been freezing lately so I've been struggling to keep my temps up. Seems like it's affected my growth lately, but it's chugging along. Certainly getting nice and crystal-y. Upped my nutes a tiny bit this water cycle so hopefully it wasn't too much. Also did a tiny bit of defoliating for the most damaged leaves, so hopefully she doesn't get too stressed from that.
2/14 Day 52: trying to contain my excitement, but I think I may have fucked around and ended up with some fire! Has a nice stink too!
2/17 Day 55: Watered again, added carboload for the 1st time.
2/21 Day 59 : cheating a bit with the flash but still, sparkling nice. Bulking up and I'm really fighting cold temps, but it's making for some nice purples showing up.
2/28 Day 66 - upgraded my bucket to add a stronger exhaust fan as well as the carbon filter. It was getting way too stanky! But plant is chugging along, bulking up a bit. I thought I was impatient before, but now with the finish line in sight, it's even harder to wait!
3/4 Day 70 - Looks like I'm down to a few weeks left. Watered with nutes today but I might start flushing next watering next week.
36 Day 72 - Surprise! Harvest time. I bought a loupe just to see, figured I had a week or 2 to flush. Turns out I already have a lot of amber trichomes! I had to either chop today or wait a week, and I figured another week would be too long. So no flush, no darkness, nothing. Just chopped her. Only 125 grams wet, so I'm not expecting much, but at least she looks nice. Not the worst first grow. Now drying will be tough, as I have to keep her in the bucket with the vent fan on, so it's cold and low RH (50F and 30% rh). I'm hoping the lower temps help it dry slower, and that's also why I kept the fan leaves on.
3/8 Day 74 - RH actually pretty high right now, around 55-60, so I trimmed it down. After trimming and 36 hours of drying, I'm down to 51g weight. Still expecting 10gs or so at best. Smells delicious though and is nice and sticky. Quality over quantity I suppose.
Sprout to harvest in 73 days! Very resilient to my noob mistakes. Had low temps for most of flowering which brought out the colors. And it stinks beautifully, so beware, she's a pungent one!
For my first grow, it was definitely a great learning experience. Made a lot of rookie mistakes and had trouble dialing in the environment. However, all that being said, it looks and smells amazing. I'm waiting for it to cure at least a few weeks before sampling it so I can't comment on the taste or effects. Its a tiny yield but it'll be plenty for me. Quality over quantity. Plus I did trim it pretty thoroughly, so I have a good amount of sugar leaves and baby buds to make some canna oil or butter with.
But I had a ton of fun growing and am hooked. And using Growdiaries made it even better, I love having a community to share my excitement with!
status update: Got impatient and sampled after just a week of curing. But holy shit this took me to the moon! Admittedly, it was also my first time smoking in almost 8 years, but man I got high as hell! It's very much a cerebral high, I almost feel like I was on autopilot at times, watching myself do stuff functionally while mentally not being sure how. And a good couch lock that was relaxing and some munchies too. But my wife, who is always prone to paranoia when smoking anyways, did get some of that unfortunately, but not as bad as she has in the past.
Flavor wise, it was very pine-y. I wonder how that will change once it cures completely. All in all, it was one of the highest I've ever been, and off of my own frigging grow! Really a pretty awesome feeling!
HEAT IS hurting ur plants right now- They look like they are hungry but the envio needs to be dialed in before u feed. I can see that the buckets are a challenge but u will pull it off. Growers love
@LagunitasOGDGC, you say heat but my temps are actually too low right now, I'm lucky if they hit a high of 70. I'm really struggling to figure out temp control. But hey, that's what a first grow is all about I suppose! Trial and error. The newest grows are actually looking better, I'll upload another pic or 2 tonight, so I'm thinking nutes was a bigger issue. But I'm sure the low RH and temps aren't helping.
Thanks for checking out my grow!
@CurrentCulture420Grown, I've barely given any nutes so far. Did 1/4 strength AN trio a few weeks ago but flushed because even that was too much. And then just did revive this water cycle and it's responding ok, but looks like I'm a bit nitrogen deficient. (What with the yellow lower leaves and what not) That's why I'm thinking of trying the trio again next watering.
Congrats on the harvest man, she looks good and that is a very solid weight, it'll probably even out at around an oz.
I can promise it'll be the best bud you ever smoked lol. Enjoy man, you worked hard to earn this :).
Growing the same genetics from seedsman, this leaf dropping seams a tendency, overall the genetics are a bit unstable and sensitive to high doses of nutrients lots of water and heat...
Cool grow you made, and nice revive too! Cheers!

@Metalhead_Literally, I know the feeling hehe, have 8 weeks to go yet, need to be a monk for this! I think the first cycle drives more anxiety, next one should be more relaxed... Cheers!
@CANNASIM, now that its dried properly and sitting at around 62RH, my final weight is right at 19g's. And I am waiting for it to cure some before sampling it, but I'm getting impatient so I think I might try it this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes!
@Metalhead_Literally,
It seems like there is ~20 3W LEDs in it.
Yeah the Chinese sellers just inflate the numbers, always better to test real watts from the wall.
:)
Very cool dude! I am loving this hobby as well though bucketeering is super rad dude. I would totally do that if I had to go uber low profile.
The widow definitely gets better with a good month cure. I think I actually dried mine a little too quickly but it is easily one of the best smokes I've had in a long time. Also I think growing is kind of like cooking your own food. It always tastes best to you when you make it.
👊🏻👏🏻🙌🏻💥! Haha thats awsome!Enjoy a lot!!! On the paranoia thing i use to get those too, the key for me was to slowly increase the dose, though i still need less than most peopple to be in a confortable high! All the best and thanks for the feedback!!! Cheers
