Solo Cup 2020-Laughing Buddha (II,V,VI)

August 1 - Flowering just around the corner! I’d say growth will increase in the next week or so. Laughing Buddha will be visibly budding into the third week of August based on last year. Just enjoying a little evening dusk. Projected high today was 27 degrees Celsius. Low will be 15 degrees, a huge relief for the area. Daytime length is 14hours51minutes. August 2 - Lets get at ‘er! Sun coming up and the surviving are looking perky. No. 2 is establishing itself as the alpha (fe)male. I gave some overnight steeped tea today, diluted. I took 1 cup blood and bone meal, 1 cup alfalfa meal compost, 2 cups worm castings, 1 cup Myke mycorrhizae, 2 tablespoons of blackstrap molasses, and filled a 17 Liter bucket. I pulsed it with a concrete mixer/drill for a day to aerate it. Then applied the next day. The projected daytime high is 32 degrees Celsius, the daytime length is 14hours48minutes. August 3rd - I took the seedlings in after sunset on the 2nd, as there were overnight rain showers. Back outside early in the morning shortly after sunrise. Another good day outdoors. Things started off a bit overcast but eventually got incredibly hot with lots of UV. The projected high was 31 degrees though I know it was surpassed. The daytime length is 14hours46minutes. No. 2 looks like the winner. Really starting to gain size and develop normalized leaves. Timing should be ideal as the days get shorter and stretch approaches. August 4th - More raw footage, my babies were enjoying a piano concert and I tried to capture the family moment with their uncle. I was sweating my balls off looking to clean my garage alcove for my outdoor flowering plants (check out Blueberry Clone 2020 (I) and Aurora Indica 2020 (I & II)), and was just dead tired so its muffled. It has been hot, a projected high of 29 that was surpassed and a daytime length of 14hours 43 minutes. August 5th - Blistering. It continues to be hot which us good for my expedited solo grow. No. 2 is the ribboned pig 🐷 🎀 🥇 The projected and surpassed high was 30 degrees Celsius. The daytime length is 14hours41minutes. This is significant because last year outdoors I would signal this as the beginning of a three week stretch for Laughing Buddha. August 6th - “Cannabis: After Dark.” Its like a new nighttime talk show. Chatty little bunch, “keep it down out there, dad has to work in the morning!” Projected high was 27 degrees Celsius, another clear day. The daytime length is 14hours38minutes. August 7th - Self-explanatory. Have fun and don’t try hard! Or at all, really. Projected high was 29 degrees Celsius. The daytime length is 14hours35minutes. Its on now, I expect stretch is under way as the daytime length drops fast. Flower time. I’ll likely be giving a couple weeks of natural stretch, then maybe choose a spot to flower these.
