August 15 - Finally, some climate relief. The projected high is only 23 degrees Celsius today, and you can tell it is cooler. But, now a full year later, are they admitting maybe a straight comparison to Laughing Buddha clone was not as good? Sullied by a nearby creeper pollinator? This is where Beans goes off the deep end. Today has been cathartic, I’ve done ample amount of discussion, thinking and reflection. There also seems like larger fish to fry around here. So, only fitting I shift gears and put this diary into the next phase. No males are coming into a flower tent, thats for sure. Lets be dramatic and bury them alive in my compost pile. The days are getting less reliable and less hot. Rains have been surprising and they are much cooler. Time to bring these babies indoors. I’ll get a headstart today and then reflect it in the week 6. I sprayed the solos with potassium based soap as they awaited the HPS tent. Upon entry I happened to examine closely, aphids! They were suffering (the insects) which caught my eye. Out! Out! Out! No, not for a half-assed solo grow. No, no, no. I may reconsider if I heavily treat again. August 20 - My motivation has been sapped with these aphids hanging out on No. 6. I feel like No. 2 has a chance to really build. I will attempt to spray them again in a day or two and see how I feel about it. I didn’t get resolution but you can see two white specks hanging out. At worse they can continue outside but I feel like they need some extra juice, the days are getting mild. The projected high today was 25 degrees, the daytime length is 13hours58minutes. I just won’t give up on the American Dream and so I sprayed the three remaining solos with potassium based soap and neem oil. They are drenched in the photos. I want to give them time under HPS. I thought I broke my timer/fuse/bulb today, but just too stoned off of BudXs’ good product. Whew 🐒 The projected daytime high was 20 degrees Celsius though I believe it surpassed that.
