****Week 3 - August 3 to 9, 2020 - Days 15 to 21 from germination
These girls had a solid week and grew bigger but they didn’t exactly set things on fire either😃 LAK3 running almost a week behind LAK1 Is still the small girl of the group. LAK2 is getting wider but not as tall as she should be though. The intent on this auto run was to do a comparison on yields based on pot style but its not going as positive as it could😃👍 They are growing too differently and one of the girls has more issues going on genetically. It’s turning out to be a run of just keeping the autos happy through veg so I don’t lose too many days before flower.
Introduced more CalMag to the feed this week. Used the AN product at the start of the week as the N value is 4% compared the GH is use which is 1% for N. They were fed three times this week in different combinations of nutrients. They were hit with a little higher feed than intended but I ran with it. They have been fed very lightly and it is showing in LAK3.....she is needing some more nitrogen. Continued with microbes as well for the roots and added in some fungi as well through Piranha.......help hold some feed in the medium👍
We have horizontal movement.......need to get some vertical movement going now😂
Little more detail:
Aug 4/20 - Day 16
- 1L feed with Sensi CalMag, Vitathrive, Dual Fuel
- 725ppm and 5.8pH.
- Little higher ppm than I wanted but running with it.
- Increased fresh air intake as they were a little droopy.
Aug 6/20 - Day 18
- 500ml feed with Microbial Mass and Liquid Weight.
- 110ppm and 5.3pH.
- Missed the pH a bit not chasing it. Microbes added after adjusting.
- focus was to get the microbes in with some sweetener and a low ppm.
- LAK1 working on her 5th set of leaves
- LAK2 reaching the edges of the pot
- LAK3 pushing out her 3rd set of leaves
- girls looking a little greener now as well.
Aug 8/20 - Day 20
- LAK1 - 1L feed - Dual Fuel @ 1ml, Vitathrive, Velokelp, CalMag = 720ppm and 5.8pH
- LAK2 and LAK3 - 1L feed - Dual Fuel @ 0.5ml, Vitathrive, Velokelp, CalMag, Piranha = 385ppm and 5.8pH
- hit LAK1 harder with feed as she is moving faster than the other girls.
- LAK2 working on new nodes but the spacing is too tight.....not normal too tight☹️
- LAK3 new growth looking better.
So that wraps up the days surrounding week 3 for these fairly different Lemon AK girls. I often comment on keeping a grow interesting but these girls are doing it on their own without my help😃
Have a great week Growmies!!!
@Tweezer, Thanks Growmie!!! I had big hopes for this diary.......time will tell if it works out. I really needed three growing at a similar pace to trust some of the results.
Its about the love of the plant and keeping the grows interesting.......its all good no matter what happens......there will still be bud in the jars at the end😀🙏
