Good morning all. Rather nice week with a correct stretch for each lady, except the Jamaican which, as usual, continues its slow growth in bonsai mode. A big thank you to PEV SEEDS who, graciously, agreed to send me a new seed so that I could try the adventure again with the Jamaican Lambsbread. (I will certainly have special attention towards her ...) So I decided to remove it from the flowering box to try to re-vegetation to try to save it and give it a new life as a mother .;) The wedding Cake clearly displays an Indica predominance, solid, bushy but with a reduced internodal distance. So I had to raise the pot by about thirty cm in order to obtain a homogeneous canopy and to be able to train it a little. Same principle for Thay Chocolate 2019 (heightened by 15cm) which, despite the long and thin very sativa leaves, seems to have started flowering more calmly. I took advantage of the departure of the Jamaican to also remove the 2 main branches. Sideral and Golden Goat, nothing to say, good growth. Ditto for Congo which continues to show us its superb genetics. I start to introduce a tear of green sensation but I limit the nitrogen because none is deficient. The Mars Hydro TS1000 works quite well but I think that for 1m2 it would be necessary to have 2. The flowering started slowly and the 150W Led are in my opinion the cause of this slowness. 300W would have been ideal. We will see later to fix this problem. The news of the week: The cold is here! big drop in temperature here for two days. Monday I install a small radiator to guarantee a warm and cozy cocoon for the girls. P.S. the water drops visible in the photos are remnants of the Vita Race foliar treatment applied this morning. There, I think I've done everything. Have a good week.

Grow Questions

Hi, Phenos like Sideral do not normally tend to color at the end of flowering (unlike Wedding Cake). However, the stems are already quite purple! I know low temperatures cause stress causing staining, but that much ? UV's and IR's of led light? An excess of something? Thx a Lot

Nothing to worry about man. You're leaves look very healthy. Some strains just have purple/brown stems. Its all genetics. Purple weed will more likely have purple stems.

It's a potassium supplement that supposedly increases nutrient uptake. I couldn't say whether or not it works, but I would start after the second week of flowering. Diamond Nectar uses humic acid to basically achieve the same thing without the added potassium.

According to tout, excess or nitrogen deficiency?

Nitrogen is a mobile nutrient, a nitrogen deficiency will start showing in the lower older leaves first and work its way up the plant. Yellowing tips at the top can be caused by a number of things, but it seems you have some narrow leaves which can be a sign of excess K. Excess P and K are common due to the bloom nutrients in use, while the plant does require more P and K in flower, you can still have too much. Check your feeding levels, and make sure you are allowing sufficient dry time between waterings. Happy growing.

@Montuno, Nepal Jam was the easiest ACE Seeds grow for me.There was simply no issues and bud shape and high was super.

@Montuno, thank you very much for your details, I will find out how to start my next crop! 😉

Mucha suerte.

they are all looking great mate.I know green sensation is amazing, especially if combined with sugar royal which I used in my previous grow.very very expensive too.but I have a half bottle of topmax for backup just like you :) sugar royal supposed to do the same as bud candy but I think plagron is always kilometers ahead of advanced nutrients.just a little bit more pricey... congo's yellow tips are most likely very early sign of excess nutrients in soil but it won't do harm to her yet.some little nutrients excess in soil but it will help pushing her to limits.no worries.just watch out for lockout,if it spreads quick to bigger leaf parts, consider doing a flush.

@HighRoller909, Big thank you to you for your wise advice. I also used green sensation associated with royal sugar for my previous crop and it is certain that the result is felt. But, as you said right, the price is a step above, so I wanted to compare with more affordable products. We will see the result, and if the price gap is worth it. I plan to do a rinsing watering during the next week to prepare for the last run. Thanks again.

@HighRoller909, Thank you! it started slower than the others so I left only two main branches. She's pretty, that's for sure. Few leaves but a good size. To see later!

@GYOweed, You re right! You'll see it tomorrow (next update). Stretch is on and wedding cake looks more indica than the other. Need to cheat with plant levels to guarantee a good distance between light and girls.

@HighRoller909, Hi! I had seen thanks to growdiaries (and thanks to your example diary... 😏) that Congo was a real diamond that it was absolutely necessary to test ... So I test! And if that goes well, it may be that Congo becomes for me a systematic! 😜 See you.
