Aug 13: the plant looks awesome and the tie down has produced two main colas and several secondary colas that should work nicely. Extra yield without the delay in harvest that topping creates. 🤠. Also took off two fan leaves that were shading buds.
Aug 16: full nutrient mix including Natures Source, molasses, Superbloom, Epsom Salts, calcium citrate and pinch of kelp extract. This is a transition mix heading toward just bloom nutes soon.
This water has elevated sodium and I need to be more aware of the Cation ratios (Na, Ca, Mg,K) so the soil doesn’t get too much sodium.
@Northern_Ent,
Yeah I usually do it for all my plants. Although this time with my Jack 47 XL i decided to experiment and see what happens when I don't tie them out. It'll be good to compare both our grows.
So how cold did it get while this one was out in it? I got 1 with 2 weeks to go and cold just moved down 2 days ago.. wondering how cold she will get an still perform... just packing trichs on now. Not really weight.
@Jerrylarrydalton, not sure but lows about 5C or possibly a bit lower. My problem this far north is lack of strong sunlight to finish flowering. Most other plants were still okay with a bit of frost. Potatoes and tomatoswere killed off before the cannabis plants so they can take a bit of cold. Good luck.
Damn if yours was that short on week 5 that means I should have a monster auto on my hands lol. Mines week 4 at 18 inchs an no sign of budding yet. Only regrets is the 3 gallon bag shes in lol.. the one time I go small the plants huge.. for an auto.
@Jerrylarrydalton, oh yeah you’ve got a big 4 week old going. I tied mine down for a few days which might have limited the height but it really got the lower buds going. Good luck 🤠
What freeze dryer did you get mate. I just ordered a harvest right and trying to figure out where to start?
The problem with being on the cutting edge of a technology is no one has drawn up any tutorials yet😂
@GuerrillaNo_4, my freeze dried stuff definitely. Now that I’m pretty much out from last year I’m buying some commercial weed again here in Canada and in general I don’t like the regular stuff as much. Freeze dried is lower density but really why should that even matter? It’s smoother and more flavourful so what’s not to like? Likely even has a slightly higher cannabinoid level and more terpenes, so all good in my opinion. And the dryers are great for hash making. 😎
@Jerrylarrydalton, the colour change was due to the low overnights temps we get here. This plant has stayed outside all along and we routinely get nights down to 5 C in September but no frost yet. You’ll see the transition in the pics in the middle of Week 12. 😎
