“A flower’s appeal is in its contradictions — so delicate in form yet strong in fragrance, so small in size yet big in beauty, so short in life yet long on effect.” – Terri Guillemets
So high in CBD yet so low in THC---beautiful. And a Pink Kush to boot! I am thrilled to be growing this. It germinated vigorously.
Planted those peat pods in the dirt and now I wait. One of the girls kinda dampened out on me; the stem not able to support the first set of true leaves 😭😓 but sister is looking healthy and happy 😴
Cue the Kelly Clarkson "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger...."----
The little pink kush that could (which I had believed last week was basically dampened off) has battled through and is now one of healthiest looking girls in the tent!
Very impressed with the resilience on these so far, wowza.
Sorry for the blurple this week has been a grade-a clusterfuck for yours truly and I can’t muster the energy for better pics. Anyway they are stout girls about half height of some other autos in tent rn but what they lack in height they make up in vigor and flowering development 👌🏻👌🏻👍👍
Holy coloration, Batman! They are like little beautiful purple bonsai. I hope they continue to grow. Controlling the heat in the tent continued to be a challenge for me this week. Supposed to cool off next week a little, Batman willing . . ..
Cooled off a bit this week and my beautiful purple bonsai seemed to appreciate it. Of course, we now have a heat advisory out for this upcoming weekend ¡ay, caramba!
But I’ll do what I can to support continued new growth and flowering and coloring in these beauties . . . oh la la!
Week 7, and we continue to press forward. Pretty strong Smell of floral perfume skunk kush. Loving the color and smell. I’m battling heat in tent still and we’ve got some especially funky weather with all the fires and ash out there. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust...
Half my blue leds went out on my “little blurple that could” less than a year old. A replacement is on the way from customer service, but in the meantime I got a spider farmer 2000 in there now and it feels like a big upgrade.
Flushing starting this week. More frequent trichome checks happening to get a handle on harvest timing. I've also starting thinking about what I'll do with this flower once it's dried cured and ready--I usually vape herb and don't care to smoke or do edibles. But this is a 30:1 CBD so not exactly my usual vape material. Something for me to ponder over the coming weeks, I guess.
In the meantime, I'll continue to enjoy growing this beautiful flower.
We chopped at Day 84. Drying and curing now. Should have a vape report / formal harvest report for y'all in about 2 weeks. In the meantime here are some end-of-life pics.
“Cannabis is just way too healthy for a sick health care system”
― Sebastian Marincolo
These plants were small but gorgeous and healthy. They performed admirably under difficult circumstances (at times) throughout the grow. And they matured quickly as advertised. These are wonderful except they don’t get ya high. But that’s what makes it feel like legit medicine. Good stuff!
