8/10-8/16
8/10 Soil top dressed for pest control. Pushing out 3rd set of leaves.
8/12 really not liking the 100+ degree days. Weather forecast doesn't leave a lot of room for hope as every day for the next week it's supposed to be at or above the century mark.
8/14 Forecast temp for today a blistering 110 (f). She's tolerating it ok so far, but not showing vigorous growth. Will be starting low dose nutrition next week (once a week at 50% strength). Also will probably top for the first time next week.
8/15 Today is actually day 15 so I started feeding. 25 oz of above formula applied as far away from stalk as possible to encourage roots to reach for it.
8/16 a severe thunderstorm came through this evening with 65-70 mph winds and dime to nickel sized hail and heavy heavy rain. Fortunately had enough advance warning to move the girls to the back patio which is covered. Left them close enough to the perimeter to catch some of the rain water blowing around.
