👉The plant has doubled in size since last week. Today is Day 46 and is Day 10 of flower. The growth rate has surprised me, and the branched are spreading out. The buds sites are starting to form up. The way the way the branches look they wont be stout and sturdy like the tent mate Gorilla Glue. There is slight clawing of leaf tips and signals slight excess N or excess wind, or excess moisture. Its a nice light green color with nicely formed fat leaves. 👉Last week the plant was using the early growth mix from the GHE drain to waste feed chart. I started this week by going to the transition mix, and by day 45 I switched to the Early bloom mix. I did 3 low EC fertigations and one H2Only event. I also tried scaling back the total volume of solution. I still have a few slightly 'clawed' leaf tips so I think what ever was causing that may be subsiding. The low EC, and the H20nly fertigation events hopefully helped with possible N excess, and the low volume events were to possibly address any excess moisture issues. Normally Coco coir is almost impossible to over water. But I cut back on the filler from 33% to 10%. So its possible the media holds enough moisture to create slight over-saturation. I address the possibility that wind is causing the claw tips by diffusing the fan breeze. I used a portable window screen suspended from the top and that has reduced the force of the fan. I may remove the speed controls of the fan and replace them with a variable speed controller. While putting one on now would work, it would create a loud hum because the speed control of the fan is done with capacitors, and a variable resitor causes this hum. While it may not be anything more than annoying, noises emanating from electronics that are normally quiet, is never a good thing. Its easy enough to do for me and I am full qualified to service any eclectrical or electronic device. 👉 Im sure the branches will need support when good big buds start forming. The stiff wires that stick up around the pot are the cut off top of a tomato cage. The hoop fits perfectly around the 3 gallon pot and provides stability for the pot before the roots fill it up. The 3 wires sticking up are the attachments I will use for Bamboo steaks. I zip ties them to the wires and interconnect each one for stability. I will probably ad those this week before the plant gets too tall.

@Sweet_Seeds, Sorry, didnt intend to be a jerk. Its kewl, I appreciate your opinion. It re-assures me I know what I'm doing. BTW, COCO has some potassium in it and minute quantities of magnesium and calcium and a high level of salt all of which get rinsed out before planting. If there is any left in the coco it is minuscule and unavailable to the plant anyway. Before planting I rinse the coco to buffer it. This particular grow I rinsed the coco not only before putting in the pot, then for two weeks every day with ph'd pure water and monitored the run-off. This was the last seed (of 4) that I got from Herbie's, the first three all sprouted a tiny tap root, and all of them stopped after that and didnt completely germinate. I figured the seeds I got were probably a little older so on the 4rth one (the one growing now) I used an H2O2 solution. The tap root got to 1/2" and was placed in the media. It emerged from the media but couldn't shed its seed coat. I tried to let it free itself on its own but after 4 days it wasn't so I assisted it. This is why the plant is tiny. The way the plant is going now I am confident it will thrive. the days on the calendar are not an indicator of the plants age. The plant was struggling. It wasn't struggling because I was adding nutrients. And once again I didnt give it a strong dose of nutrients. I used .04EC is and the recipe is FOR seedlings doing this method. and I alternated with almost pure water...literately 98% pure medical grade H2O. My wife has told my my diaries are too long for people to read all of the details, so this diary I tried to keep it a little more basic because its a waste of time putting every little detail on here for 3 or four people to glance at every week. I am confident this plant will be like the rest of my plants and be way above and beyond when compared to the average plant that gets rewarded in the sham contests on this site. I am glad Sweet Seeds is offering more contests and hope to see more integrity in the results. This is why I chose a sweet seeds strain to grow. I cant wait to try it out! A very intriguing mix of strains for this one! I appreciate you challenging the details of my grow here. I enjoy the discourse! 😎

@Weird_Jimmy, Well, it was my point of view, and I was trying to help you. Sorry about that. The green colour in the substrate is due to high humidity. (And that's very bad for a seed). COCO has food for the first 10 days and I see you have used fertilizers at the beginning. Your plant is really tiny for day 26 so it will be a small plant possibly because it starts to flowering soon. But don't worry about it, It is only my opinion. All the best! jaypp

@PurpleWorship, thank you! Its bud structure isnt as dense as it may look. A bit of foxtailing but it has gained some plump over the last week. Frostier than breakfast cereal. 😎

I believe there are some Sweet seeds strains that a shaggy. I tried ak47 from serious seeds and fruit pie seedstockers was not that shaggy. Why don't you try premium DNA or Dutch passion, man?
