Hello again! Feels nice to come back and start a new diary here. The last ones were my first experience indoors and went great, now I feel super motivated to start a new grow. And this time I'm going for 4 different strains, hoping for great results, and a wide variety of flavours and colors to enjoy during this journey and after, when everything is cropped and ready to smoke. I'm going again for autos as my choice of seed, things are fast and keep me happy, production is enough for my needs so, no change here for now. Going for this strain because I tried it years ago in amsterdam and was really nice the smell and flavour of it. I want to try and recreate that amazing weed we had there in 2007. Again, I'll be using BioBizz nutrients, and Lumatek bulbs. The difference is that now I'll use a MH for veg, that I didn't had in the last grow. Looking forward then to see better results on flowering as the light spectrum should provide better light to them. With no more talk, here's the fact sheet for this week Day 1 to 7 - 09/8 - 15/8 General: Soaked the seed in water 24h, kept it in the dark for all that time. Transferred to pot and been spraying with water since then. Humidifier is on to keep RH on 70%. Now it's waiting time until it's out. Techniques: Nothing yet. Feeding: Spraying with water, to keep the soil moist in the seed location. nothing more. Smell: Too soon. Temps and RH: 25c - 19c (24 average) 72% - 43% (62% average) Pests and plagues: Nothing to record.

Day 8 to 14 - 16/8 - 22/8 General: She, together with the Amnesia, are the oldest and healthier plants. She really surprised me, grew too much actually, quite a stretch, had to put a bit more soil around the stem to stabilize it and it reacted well to that. Happy with the development but very worried with the temps. I have a MH/HPS 400W and it's going super hot in the grow, with a quite powerful extractor. Again, summer this year isn't helping at all and I had major life changes that kinda reduce my time drastically to take care of my babies. Even with the humidifier on I can't get RH over 45% with lights on and that worries me now that I'm away so long. Anyways, the plant looks great to start with and it's still a long way to go until this becomes something ehehe the most important is that grows healthy and juicy. All about big buds and bold flavors. Love the morning smell of burping pots by the way, the LSD is now something special. Even better with a nice glass of Port wine. 😍 That's all for now guys, Wish you're having as much fun as I do, feels great to be back 😅 Techniques: Nothing yet. Feeding: Spraying with water, to keep the soil moist in the seed location. nothing more. Smell: Too soon. Temps and RH: 34c - 21c (24 average) 99% - 0% (62% average) Pests and plagues: Nothing to record.

Day 36 to 42 - 14/9 - 20/9 General: She's looking healthy, but it's a dwarf in a 18l pot, shorter than expected. By this time wanted to have a way bigger plant. Maybe will stretch a bit more this week. Like to see the pistils showing and so easy to capture with the phone Techniques: LST Feeding: water, with co2 tabs daily. feeding with nutes twice a week. Smell: Early stinky lady. quite surprising, especially for the size of hers. Temps and RH: 30c - 20c (27 average) 90% - 10% (30% average) Pests and plagues: Nothing to record. EDIT: Thanks all for the help :D I believe I really stunted the plant with the training and the poor conditions in the first weeks and now I'm paying the price for it. Can't be the nutes as I was giving way too little water on the feedings, so I'm really inclined to say that they're stunted.

Grow Questions

TheGourmetWeedstarted grow question 4 years ago
first time growing this strain, never had such a small plant in a 18L pot. She smells amazing, looks fine, but way too small. Didn't really used many nutes, or spent time around her, but on the other hand the northern lights next to her is doing great. Any thoughts?

Hi Gourmet, I think that the lst on week 3 has been a bit too hard and stressful as the plant wasn't strong enough and that 's it's an autoflo with less time to recover from anything before floration starts. The whole plant's trunk was bended and there might have been roots issues. In this case, I think it would have been better to slightly train the fan leaves. According to your diaries, temperature and humidity didn't help at all if they didn't do worse. Good luck with your other plants.

Day 43 to 49 - 21/9 - 27/9 General: Transplanted her to a 15l Gronest,I need the space for the 6 coming GSC, so I'm even considering to go down to a 11l pot. I'm getting her fat, but won't get much from it due to her size. Love her sweet smell, super nice! Techniques: Cut some fan leaves here and there to maximize exposure. Feeding: water every day. feeding with nutes twice a week. Smell: Early strong stinky lady. quite surprising, especially for the size of hers. Super sweet smell, love it. Temps and RH: 31c - 16c (27 average) 83% - 33% (50% average) Pests and plagues: Nothing to record.

She got stunted. So wasn’t really the growing experience I expected, not either the outcome of it. Lesson learnt. Apart from that, really nice smell, good smoke. Needs a bit more cure in my opinion, but it’s a nice flavor. But again, 4 grams of smoke is almost a waste of room in the tent.. definitely wasn’t my best one

I had high hopes for this one. Unfortunately ended up getting her stunted. Bad luck, and a bit still to learn mixed, messed it up. Still gonna grow her again as I have a few seeds for next season, and I think I learned with my mistake. She has the potential to be a nice plant and a good smoke. Had a blast with it back in Amsterdam in 2007! She has a good smell, sweet and fruity. Quite nice. Like the smoke too, very light and enjoyable.

Hey Gourmet ! :) So you are already back to gardening :) Your new babies are all looking good and strong. I read that you now have a 400 W MH for growth: This is excellent !! You'll sure notice how your plants like it :) About heat issues: Maybe you should consider buying a cooltube, it helps a lot. About humidity: You can lower the extractor volume and/or mask part of the incoming air bucket. Good grow to you. Later.

@@Weedelfe, hey! Yes, trying to keep up to the needs, but it's always a struggle ahaha Unfortunately as you saw, she got stunted with my training and conditions. Meanwhile managed to tune up the setup of the grow and things looks a bit more stable now :D Thanks for stopping by
