The big event is taking down the trellis used for light LST to have colas open more widely. The blue dreams are still rather dense and branches closer in, the Cookies more spread.
But alas I’m really concerned about the fabulous five. While they’re definitely in stretch mode and flowers are developing, the leaves have turned yellow.
I’ve been meticulous about pH, avoiding overwatering and keeping to the nutrient schedule with a once a week feeding and watering in between it’s not clear whether these five will make it to the end of the leaves all drop off.
This is a new tent with new LED Mars TS3000 for 450w.
Humidity is staying high in the basement at around 55 and temps at lower range. The heat from the HID kept temps higher on my last grow.
Gorilla Cookies are in worst shape with fan leaves completely yellow and falling off only newer growth still green. Blue Dreams have held up better with some fan leaves still very green. I moved them around to see if light was an issue and was particularly careful not to overwater. Perhaps the pot is just too small—11L—for these autos to have a healthy root growth and develop as other grows I’ve had. I’m going to do only pH adjusted watering from here as I’m thinking too many nutrients are involved as careful as I was to keep low. I also am waiting for a dehumidifier as temp humidity is way too high at 58-60.
Sure it’s all learning but I’d sure like to know where I went wrong precisely.
Worst case I’ll manage to recover the Blue Dreams and grow them in another tent without basement, colder and more humid, conditions.
Thank you for reading!
Hi experts. Use of space - new tent (4′x4′) under 450W and germinated 13 auto seeds, my lucky 13, in 11L pots. New to autos. Now looking at it, i think it’s going to get too crowded in there. I can scrog to keep some control. Should I keep all 13? Thanks, experts!
I have 3 autos in my 4x4 and there's no space. You'll have a full canopy already so there's nothing to scrog really. I would just lollipop, hard. You're gonna end up with more of a sog canopy. With photos, you could've just flipped when they were all 5", but in this case they'll bloom whenever they want.
Personally, I would cut it down to 9 plants at the most. It'll save you a lot of headaches and you're still going to get the same yield in the end. Best of luck my friend!!
Brother.
These fast Buds are done by week 10 or 11 the most. 13 weeks is way to long.
These are autos not photos.
I made that mistake my first fastbuds grow.
10 weeks from seed and done
@SickBoyOG420, hello brother. This is really critical info. For all my reading could it be that these are on the way to finishing up?
Thanks a ton. Looking into their state of flowering now. You get a follow. Happy growing!!!
Great looking grow my friend! I had the exact same issue with my gorilla cookies. The leaves all turned yellow VERY early. But, I still managed to push her to the ripening stage although I was very nervous with next to no fan leaves left. Still, the buds ended up green and smelled fanfuckingtastic!
@ChuckShady,same for me in the end. I think it’s about fertilizing too early. They don’t really need anything in early weeks. Glad you got great results too!!
hmmm you are doing ph water between feeds? i've been feeding every time which is every other day. I had amazing sucess with this last grow but its interesting to see you are doing it only once a week!
@MrHightimes,thanks. I really question whether nutrients are needed in the first three weeks. The soil is already hot. But yours are doing more than fine!
Nice Journal! Having just got through a similar grow that yellowed early and stressed me out only to come out ok was fun to read! Was also fun to see your grow b/c I have GCs growing now!!!! I did a 1gal grow and while it was a nice yeild seeing how much more i got off 2 gals, I'm now trying 3gal! Will you be growing in bigger pots next?
@MrHightimes,thanks a ton. Just saw your grow and it’s looking great. I get the impression that 3 gals is ideal. I’m trying some photosensitive Blue Dream now in a 5 gallon with some more autoflower seeds on the way from Fastbuds.
@Fast_Buds, so far so good! Looking pretty damn big for 3 weeks! Curious to know when they’ll kick into flower, guessing another week from reading online.
Great start👍
I use solo cups as well , but I use two, cut the bottom off one cup
and make a cut from top to bottom of the same cup, then put the cup with the slice and no bottom into
a untouched cup and fill with soil. When the time comes to transplant, remove outer cup, place inner cup in the hole of your bigger container
and remove, the plant doesn't even know it was transplanted.
Hope this helps👊
Grow Big!!
YAY! I'm so happy you are doing these with GH, it was nice to compare your charts to mine. I'm growing my first time in ammended soil and am trying to gauge when and how much to kick off my 3part GH! Good work Bro!!!!!
