Quite frosty buds for an outdoor. Relatively Hardy strain. Good yield although a little leafy in the structure of the buds. Took a long time to trim. Ended up with around 10% having to be thrown away due to mold in the harsh UK weather

It had a great start to life not such a great end. Forced to harvest due to mold. (ended up throwing away 10%) it was quite leafy compared to the durban and I think that's where water was getting trapped from the rain and causing the bud rot. I'm glad I didn't leave them longer. Overall not a bad effort for the uk weather.

Grow Questions

Does anyone have experience with when outdoor photoperiod plants will begin to show signs of flowering in the uk? When will they be likely to stop stretching and start flowering? theyre just getting big and i dont want to top them so close to flowering.

She should be ready to flower anytime now so keep your eye out as this month goes on. The daylight times are about to get shorter, so she should be ready to be spitting out flowers anytime now. Always prefer autos outdoors just to remove this issue, especially in UK when it can be very unpredictable. Shes a nice big girl though, looks good.

@junglistbandelero,took a 3 day trip to Vegas last September got back and my 6 foot gdp was devastated.. think I got 135 usable grams.. and that was just the little nugs.. just imagine the weight if I'd have got them fat buds and that 8 inch long monster on top smh

@junglistbandelero,careful though. Every time I do photos, that get that big. I lose half my bud to mold... gd worms fuck me every time.. dont be scared to dig inside the buds every once in a while to check.. them mfs will eat the whole inside of a softball sized bud before it shows any signs of problems.. i would check every day for signs it only takes about 2 days to lose a quarter pound from them fuckers believe me lol..

why would you cut the tops?
smokeyspartacus
smokeyspartacus
@junglistbandelero, ok in that case just breake them before they get too wody, maybe around 40cm from the top. they will be ok and heal up.

@smokeyspartacus, i dont want to but they can be seen too easily as i have veged for too long. providing they dont get much taller i should be fine

Shitty. Bamboo stakes or tomato cages help a lot on outdoor grows, and autos are much more reliable finishers in northern areas. Hopefully the rest of the plant makes it to the finish line for you.
