WEEKLY SUMMARY:
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
🙋♀️Fo' Twenny here!🙋♀️
Back with another update on our Indica/Sativa hybrid cultivar 🇫🇷🍪 FRENCH COOKIES bred by T.H.SEEDS! I am trying a new format for the weekly summary portion of my diary. Let me know what ya'll think!
👃 AROMA: She smells sweet but not very distinct at this point. It's still early in flow, so her terpenes are really just starting to be noticeable. I am excited to experience the evolution of her terpene profile as she progresses through flower. One of my favorite aspects of growing cannabis is how much these plants change from start to finish and how much variation is possible with this plant.
❇️ BUD STRUCTURE: Her buds are just starting to form, but look like they will be very nice. She has bright white pistils shooting out from small clusters of calyxes. It's still early, but I think she already looks quite promising.
🎨 Color: She is a nice healthy deep shade of green that looks like will turn purple or red later when she begins to fade.
🌿 STEM, STRETCH, & INTERNODES: She is growing extremely fast and, while currently not the tallest cultivar in the run, she is nine days behind the tallest; so, that may very well change.
✂️ TRAINING/PRUNING: I have continued selective defoliation as needed to avoid crowding herself and her neighbors. I remove no more than 25% of foliage at any one time, and usually closer 10-15%. I space out defoliation with a minimum of 3 days between sessions, in most instances. There will be exceptions to that, but it's a good rule of thumb I try to adhere to. She has been trained to have 6 main shoots and I am using LST techniques to gently bend her stems to evenly fill her space without overcrowding.
❄️TRICHOMES/RESIN PRODUCTION: She is probably one of the frostiest plants in the run. She has loads of resin glands even on some of the smaller fan leaves. She's definitely off to a good start!
🚿 WATER/FEED: I have continued with a light bidiurnal misting of White Dutch Clover cover crop . This, in conjunction with running lower temps (New AC), has seemed to have drastically increased feeding intervals. My plants are needing much less water than in previous runs. I typically give the whole SOG one feed per week with light watering of select individual cultivars as needed between feeds. I try my best to "read" my garden. The amount of water between feeds depends on how soon the next feed will be. I feed the garden as a whole and this run I have been generally spacing feeds out about 4-6 days when the the first plant shows beginning signs of wilt (slight droop of lower fan leaves).
📝 OBSERVATION/NOTES: She doesnt appear to have any signs of stress, deficiency, or toxicity. she is absolutely stunning!
Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome.
Now, for the weekly break down!

The cultivar received approximately 1 gallon of solution. I mixed 17 gallons of solution for 17 plants. The solution is applied via wand sprayer powered by a submersible pump attached to a garden hose. @Treighfunky one thing, @FoTwenny does not play, I hear she gives all her toys away at Christmas, her Kung-Foo is Strong! I agree with @Treighfunky your farming and diaries are tight! Looking super good!
@FoTwenny, You could start a Nug-Donation Page, Fast Buds has them Bikini Contest going, you could that to launch it, not implying anything, just saying :) LOL
@MrJones, They look nice and the price point was right. I am sure this will be a nice upgrade over the blurples. No more photos with Blurple light reflections! ☺️☺️☺️
@FoTwenny, This is the one I purchased - https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/480-watt-led-grow-light-monster_62107049571.html?spm=a2700.icbuShop.152.3.79d3297dznAyEn - we are on the same page again @FoTwenny!
@Treighfunky, Yes! I went with a 320w lm301h 3000k MonsterBoard set with switchable UV and IR. Should be a considerable upgrade from the blurples, I think. I veg and flower my autos in this little 4 foot by 2 foot tent and I think it should be able to handle that well enough!

@Stealthman, Thank you sir! I appreciate the kind words of encouragement! Glad you stopped by, your visual solo grow is super impressive! Happy growing, my friend!
So you just set the seed on top of the Jiffy peat pellets - do you cover them at all, I see that the pellets are just nestled in the may have to try this, been doing the paper towel method, :) as always good luck to you and may the Canna Gods shine down on you, yours and your farming!
@MrJones, Good question, I do push them down about a quarter inch and cover them. In my opinion, it makes for better photos to show the seed rather than just the peat pellets. I was trying to be fancy! 😂😂😂
@FoTwenny, I ordered some Sage n Sour regular seeds. It's one of my favorite medicinal strains. I would love to cross it with my Purple Kush and my Grandaddy Purple some day for a great 50/50 medicinal strain. I always enjoyed THSeeds strains. I'm new to growing so it's all an exciting journey. As always happy growing cheers!!!!!
@MVgenetics, Thanks for stopping by! I'm looking forward to the flowering cycle! On a side note, I just got the new light in late this evening! Will be installing tomorrow. It's very nice. Really happy with the purchase!
Hmmm. Your choice of grow is excellent. This strain is big ass beauty bitch. I am telling you. Getting beautiful purple and looking like a scarecrow. Amazing genetics. T.H. Seeds on point with her. Good luck You will enjoy i am sure. 🤪
@FoTwenny
Hello 👋, last night i was able to checked some of your amazing diaries. I learned a lot and it was such an inspiration. Your ladies are very healthy and happy 😀Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week . Stay healthy and safe .
Happy Farming ! 😊🙏✌️👋🙌❤️
@HerbalPower, Thank you for the very kind words! I am thankful you find value in the information I am reporting and glad you had a chance to stop by! Good luck and happy growing!
This is the strain I was most curious about when you started this! I’ve been wanting a gelato cross for a while and just haven’t swiped the card to buy one, but I think this will be it when the time comes.
@MrJones, Thank you, my friend! I have been following you, but getting behind because reporting all these strains is a lot of work! It's fun, but time consuming!
