these 2 might end up being more than i can tame being 4 ft tall already...but rhats a challenge im willing to tackle. Put out as a limited edition by ACE seeds, i grabbed these when I was sativa hungry earlier this year. I already had a sizeable collection of different haze plants, and wanted something different to add to the collection. Golden tiger is phenomenal, and cross that with some awesome panama landrace genetics? Count me in!..... They are in a tent with a couple haze plants and a very large super sweet tooth.....room could become an issue in a month if i don't stay vigilant in my tying and training. Fingers crossed it works out!
On a side note, if you don't know about ACE seeds and what they are doing to preserve these landrace strains for future generations. You should really check them out. They are doing what we should all be doing to make sure this incredible plant and all its myriad extensions are preserved for the future. They need our support, you should really consider them the next time you need to make a purchase. Top notch stuff in my opinion.
still stretching a lot, but also showing signs of pistils being put on.....the breeder recommends putting it into an 11 on 13 off schedule to help combat the stretch...with my other plants in the tent this is not an option for me. Hopeing it doesn't get too unwieldy.....
Man do these ladies love to grow. And they are strong! I can't use the velcro straps on them cause they just rip the velcro open. I had to use some tomato rope to tie the tops down cause my weights didn't do anything put give them a chance to work out and beef up apparently. The junction where I topped on one of these girls.is just this huge hulking joint. Looks like a lobster or crab arm joint.....ands its pretty big too. Excited to see what else she has up her sleeve for me
Huge! These girls are huge! And strong. So 💪.....had to actually tie them both down, a few times. Has a very peculiar smell too, not a smell I am familiar with, ot have anything to relate it to.....not an unpleasant smell at all. Excited to see how it matures and evolves over the coming weeks. Super fun to grow so far. Nothing like im used to growing, that's for sure. Cant even open a nutrient bottle near her, or she gets nute burned 🤣.
Keeps getting bigger!!! I have both of them woven like a basket with the 2 haze plants in here to to my best of keeping an even canopy 🤣.....thats a laugh! The two 🐅 are on the left, with the two haze being on the right. I've created a real mess in here that will be crazy to try and cut down if they don't mature at the same time.
You might not be able to hear this tiger roar, but when you open the tent, you sure can smell her! Havent experienced this smell/flavor before. Hard to describe, has an astringent medicine like smell to her. Its incredible to experience for sure. Not sure if it comes from the golden tiger or the panama parent, but i am really thankful its there.
Still growing strong! Had to retighten all of her tie downs earlier today, never have I experienced such a "strong" plant. She will literally break these tomatoe tie downs ive been using. Her stems get thicker and thicker until they can either pop the knot, or just break the string entirely. Its pretty impressive.Diggs.
Oct 1- new tent was put in for these girls last night. Looks like they are enjoying their new larger grow area 😀
Wow is all I can say about these two magnificent girls. So huge....I guessed on the size cause its impossible to measure at his point. They both go up as high as they can and then just drape across the tent.....stink so good too. Still about a month to go....gonna be a long wait
Getting fat fat fat, great to see how she gets a little bigger everytime i open the tent. Needs at least 11 weeks, so still has a few left. But she is definitely frosty already. And has some peculiar scents that I'm really hoping transition into the taste as well. Really excited for this one!
Man is this girl frosty! And she still has a few weeks to go at least! Looking fantastic, smelling fantastic. Really excited for the harvest to get here. Cant wait to try this one out!
One got cut down and ones still going! Started with 2 different seeds, so its not surprising that they are a bit different. First golden tiger was very cloudy and a few ambers, second is still pretty clear but im gonna let her go with more amber, see which way I like better. Cant wait for the first one to dry up a bit more so I can smoke her!
