This is my first successful germination, wasted 4 seeds before this one worked. Planted the seed with tap root and the next day it had emerged from the coco coir! Excited to see the plant responds to my setup
Waiting a little too long to give nutrients so plant has a pale color at the moment. Have added the grow and heaven by biobizz so hopefully that corrects itself now 👌
I think this week I went from being nitrogen deficient to being nitrogen toxic.. very dark green colour on the new leaves with a really small downward curl to the tips of the leaves. I noticed that the tips are slightly brown too so I think I overdid it with the nutes. Gonna keep it the same for now instead of following my nute schedule.
Hi there..lt doesn't look like you have any deficiency.. maby stress. What is the Ph of your run off?
Also cheak the ec of your nute mix..should be 800 to 1300. If the plant leaves droop a lot it can be a sign of over watering.
420 for life
Some good growth this week, tried to do some lst but the wire I tied it down with came loose and I just kinda gave up on it... I noticed yesterday that the plant is showing early signs of flowering. I’m expecting some explosive growth for week 5 now! Had to stop feeding cal mag as I found I have very hard water at home so no need for it unless I see signs of deficiency
I was expecting some explosive growth this week and nothings really changed, I continued with the LST from last week and I did a tiny bit of defoliation because none of the lower bud sites had direct light. But now since then things have stalled. Not quite sure what to do so gonna just stick to my nutrient schedule and see how things turn out 👍
I had previously been following a nutrient schedule I found for autos grown in coco. But now I decided to use the biobizz schedule and it seems to have boosted growth. So hoping to see some good developments over then next few weeks
Growth looking great, hopefully I’ll see some buds soon 👌 this strain is actually quite resilient so far, I’m growing a GSC next to it and that is riddled with problems even tho it’s received the same care as this plant..
Humidity got super high and caused some leafs to have brown spotting on them and for some leafs to get like hooks at the end... so I added a dehumidifier to bring humidity down to around 40%. Ime seeing lots of nice pistils so hoping to see some nice buds soon 🤤
Defoliated the plant and gave it a half strength feeding as it was showing signs of a nutrient toxicity. I also purchased a tds meter so now I can check the ppm of the water I’m feeding my plants. I noticed what I have been feeding is right around 1000ppm which is too high for this auto. Will see how she responds to half that.
Had a day when the lights were off for the whole day due to the timer, hope that didn’t mess anything up...
other than that the buds are slowly getting bigger, can see actual bud now and not just pistils.
A few are going orange, not sure if that’s good this early on but I’m not sure what to expect as it’s my first time watch a plant flower.
Not sure what to expect yield wise but I’m hoping for 2ozs... 😅
Update:
Very light buzz, great for smoking in the day time. Smells nice after it cured. I think the airy buds are due to thrips as I noticed them in the plant that I had growing along side this one which is only flowering now.
It was my first grow so have nothing to compare it to but from my personal experience it seemed sensitive to its environment. Took way longer than I expected it to as well... breeder said 7-8 weeks and it took 14... maybe that was due to the light or me I don’t know. It’s currently drying so won’t know how much I harvested from it but It’s most likely over an Oz. The buds seem airy too. I think I let it go a bit longer than it should have too, in hopes that it was going to fatten up but it never really did. Haven’t smoked it yet it’s dry now and curing so I’ll update in a week or two
@Ferenc, thanks man 👌 have a second plant in with her now which is GSC from the same breeder. Hoping to veg her for the rest of this plants life cycle then switch down the 12/12 going to be a long veg and try out some training techniques 👌
I’m impatient too man, I need to grow a room full so I don’t run out and start looking at my plants before they are finished. So hard to deal with if you’re a massive stoner. Buying isn’t an option and you have a plant with frosty buds in front of you. Aghhhhhhh
You wanna fatten those buds and speed up the growth? With a 100W light at 60cm above the plants, you’re probably giving them way less ppfd than you should be. The TS 600 should be placed between 14-16 inches above the plants in flowering. Trust me honestly, you’ll see huge difference in only a few days and it will speed up growth and fatten the buds, good luck!
@MrGreenMan, I had it at about 30cm from the top of the canopy but the leafs were getting burnt so had to move it up... you reckon I should move it done again and ignore the light burn?
