First week germinated Pineapple Express day in the glass 36 hours in wet paper towel straight into 3 gal pot .first week after potting I swear I killed it already surprising how this turned later
I only decided to start diary’s at week 7 so missed quite a few weeks out went back from photo diary on phone . This was week3-4 was happy as exploded into growth as first couple weeks leaves looked unhealthy unhappy from this week it was smooth sailing
So this is the week I decided to start the diary’s so I have more details I am making 9 litres of water at a time using the recommended dose on the bottles of nutrients minus 2 ml for every 9 litres seems to be working a treat apart from the bad start this grow has been decent for a first time not a single problem with Pineapple Express, purple lemonade on the other hand stretched from the start because I planted at different times was further from the light I used a large biscuit tin to raise it up but think it’s gonna be scrawny . We shall see as it’s like 3 weeks behind . I’ll be hoping to harvest Pineapple Express few weeks before so the purple lemonade can have all the light hopefully fatten her up a bit . I have noticed purple early on the small lemonade plant
8 days on been on holiday had a kind neighbour water for me while away with premade nut mixed water.showing a few rust spots on the leaves that weren’t there before I went not sure what that is . So I’ve come back they have both fattened up nicely being a first timer not sure when to flush tricomes on Pineapple Express are mostly milky colour . Purple lemonade has a nice dark purple through it which I like a lot
red rusty spots can be Mg deficiency.
do those start pale? could be Ca, too, or lockout from something that is too high in relative concentrations.
more info is need to be certain. you can fill in gaps with knowledge of recent behaviour and guarnateed analysis data on each of your nutrients' labels. if the ppm's don't point to something else, epsome sale (magnesium sulfate) is fine to use and cheap. Knowing the ppm's of your feed at dillution you mix is very helpful when you see leaf symptoms.
pH, concentration of nutrients as well as ratios of those concentrations are all equally important. Always do the easy stuff first.. check pH, if you have an EC meter that's awesome too. Just knowing what you feed is enough most of the time without any meters (well, pH is huge, but soil helps avoid problems).
Not much to say can’t tell if they are recovering from my week away with someone else watching for me they have slightly fattened up over last week top leaves are all turning yellow could do with so advice if anyone thinks I should be flushing about now
Going strong happy with how there growing purple lemonade still scrawny , Pineapple Express top leaves looking shit lots of yellow and brown spots buds looking healthy under jewellers loupe getting nice and icy impatient growers wanting harvest to hurry lol not long now I think
Sad week this one next to no growth this week hit a wall a lot of yellow leaves with rust spots as a new clueless grower 2 days ago I decided to stop nutes flush with water and water plain water for a few days see if I can get back on track fingers crossed
Final week starting today flush has begun looking forward to it .i have watched and read as much as I can on trimming and curing just gotta decide wet or dry trim . Definitely a eye opener this grow especially when it paused on me thought I killed the poor thing great advice out there for new growers that’s for sure
Chopped today will updates weights and everything else after a week of hanging will trim and weigh then glad to make it to the end looking forward to the next grow. Super happy with this way more then I was expecting from this grow
Not the most impressive buds very airy but very nice smell and colours wouldn’t grow the purple lemonade again Pineapple Express on the other was a sweet grow nice thick dense buds beautiful smell and smoke
Forgot to add I have done heavy leaf stripping on the Pineapple Express stopped stripping at start of flower . Purple lemonade has had a few leaves stripped not much as it’s so dam scrawny
Looking at your pictures I'd say give her another week or 2 before flushing, they still have plenty of fattening to do. Use an eye loop or magnifier to see if the trichomes are milky. Hope this helps.
