After giving a good water and upping the nutrients a little, she started to really look good! Sprang up overnight and has been growing a lot more since the start of the week. Also had a successful transplant to her final 3 gallon home!
Doing great this week! Upped the nutrients and the plant responded very well. New growth sites started popping up and white hairs started appearing as well, which I’m taking as the first signs of flower.
This girl grew so much this week. 7 inches! The new, smaller growth sites have taken off this week. This is my first time ever getting to see flowers! (I grew a male my first time around) :$.
But overall, she’s doing great, and seems to be adapting well to the environment changes.
She grew quite a bit again this week. 5 inches in height. Seems to mainly be focused on bud growth at this point.
I did some light defoliation on some of the lower branches and fan leaves. It definitely seemed to help accelerate other areas a little, like I hoped. I also followed the nutrients on the flora bottles and changed to the Blooming/Ripening amount. The plant seems to be loving it!
And last but not least, she had some noticeable trichrome development, which I’m super stoked to see!
The buds are definitely growing!
I’ve been feeding the plant with every watering. I plan to occasionally just use PH balanced water every once in awhile, because the leaves don’t seem to be as green as they used to be. I hope it’s not nutrient burn.
I also moved the light up a little due to praying hands starting to show with the leaves. Lastly, I defoliated a little bit more as well. Overall, she’s looking great, and I think things are going well, from what I can tell.
Buds are still just bulking up! I'm noticing quite bit of hairs turning orange. Getting close to about 50% I would say. I plan to start pre-harvest flushing when I would regularly do my next feeding.
I think I have probably 1 or 2 weeks before harvesting. This will be my first harvest, so I'm trying to do as much research as I can about flushing/harvest timing.
I know my harvest is going to be small, but I honestly planned on that, since I wanted to do my first grow without any serious training. I really can't stop checking on her, I'm so damn excited!
I'm thinking about starting to flush in the near future (probably about 3-4 days from now). Based on my photos, does it look like she's ready for flushing, or should I wait a bit longer? I'm using a mixture of coco and perlite.
I was thinking u were late , but with coco perlite is perfect timing in my opinion, at the end of flush ( i think u will go with like a week of flush) give 36/48h of darkness before harvest
Flowers bulked up a little more. Definitely seeing a little bit of purple come out.
Started flushing this week and it’s starting to show. Leaves are yellowing, just as I hoped!
I think I’m getting close to harvest. I see mostly cloudy trichomes, with still some clear. I see clear trichomes especially on the lower bids, but cloudy trichomes seem to dominate for the most part. I’ll occasionally see some amber as well.
I want to keep trying to let’s the flowers grow, but I think it might be prime time for harvest soon!

Overall, the harvest was fun to do! Definitely a smaller harvest than I was hoping for, even knowing it wasn’t going to be much.
But i do feel accomplished finally getting to smoke bud that I grew! I can’t wait to grow this again, and hopefully get much more once I get growing down a little more.
I’ll be sure to post a full smoke report once I’m done curing and have been able to smoke more of it.
