Hello guys and welcome to this new grow :). I'm back to photos because I found a way to have pitch black in my tent while still having air flowing quite easy through the passive intakes, a little bit of DIY but it should work. I had these seeds in my stash for almost 2 years now so i figured out it would be nice to pop these before the rest... And they all germinated within 48 hours, props to Female seeds for that. For now they are in a 50/50 mix of coco and light mix with all the biotabs kits except for the tabs of course. I plan to only keep 2 of them and transplant around week 2 directly in final container, not sure yet if I will be 11l or 18l, with a 50/50 mix of coco and all mix + biotabs. The first week has been going good, I'll try to keep it that way ! Cheers !

Hello guys, Good growth this week I'm pretty happy so far. Transplanted the two best looking and vigorous crops, that also look more sativa which is what I'm looking for ! They are in 18l containers, 2/3 of the pot is a 50/50 mix of coco/all-mix and the rest is a 50/50 mix of coco/lightmix. Added 2,5 bio-tabs into the soil so with that they should be well fed :) ! Keeping the others two just a few more days in case one of the transplanted got shocked/sick in the process but it looks ok.

A very nice week ! They've been very vigorous, growing great and fast, they love the food and environment so far. Usually with my lights, internodes are very very short but this time internodes are bigger, sativa influence I guess. Started LST, one of my favourite thing in growing is to shape the plants and I can be a bit radical doing it haha ! It will come very hand when stretch time comes as I feel those will try to go big in terms of height. One more week of veg and I'll switch to bloom. For the last week of veg I may add the second Led COB. Already smelly in the room !

Week was going so great, lush green, growing fast, and then... BOOM ! I dont know wtf happened but in just 24/48hours it went straight to shit ! Lots of dots/spots on leaves, overall unhealthy looking, grow has stopped... I watered as usual when medium felt dry and only 2L each so not even 15% of the container total volume... Cant find any insects/beasties... If someone has an idea thanks :). I wanted to switch to flower but not sure its a good idea till this problem is solved.

Hello. Was doing really great as you can see in pictures but then in 48h : dots/spots of different colours/size, overall unhealthy, the whole plant is affected not specifically top or bottom, growth has stopped. Can't find any insects/beasties. Thank you :)

See the dark green clawing leaves? To much nutrients, salts have built up from overfeeding and now you have lockout. Flush with proper ph water until you have the ec coming out at safe levels for your girl. Re feed at half dose. Or use a ppm reader to feed properly. Luck friend. Cheers

A great first week of flowering ! They totally recovered from the overfeeding and they are pushing strong. Long time since I did not filled the tent like that. Trying not to go too hard on them but I feel I have to remove leafs are they are really bushy. They seem to stretch pretty well, and they showed sex already. On the bad side weather went to shit over here in just 48h, switching from hot and dry to cold and humid and I'm really struggling to stay under 60% rh. Thanks for following along and many thanks to all who helped me on previous week, you were all kind of right :)) !

A great week : Damn, those girls love to stretch for sure (at least x2.5 to x3) ! They've been pushing pushing and pushing non stop, buds are barely forming for now. I wondered if I had a light leak so I went and locked my self up in the grow tent and it was litteraly pitch black so I guess it's just that they stretch for a long time. Leaves formation seems to have slow down tho, so I guess we should see real flowering soon...I hope ! Overall, looking happy and healthy, I'll make a serious defoliation at the beginning of week 3 cause they be bushy ! cheers

So they are still taking their time... I mean come on its borderline boring in here !!! Well I think the bud formation is really starting now, at the end of week 3. Beside that, they've stretching and pushing in all kinds of direction, I'm trying to keep it under control but it's quite messy ! Many defoliations and lower branches removal have been happening. Apart from that they are still looking happy and healthy, which is always a good news ! Hope we gonna have some blooming action soon...

Week went OK I guess. We are flowering for real now even tho they still push a little, I reached the maximum heigh for my lights so they really have to stop now !! Some trichomes and a light smell. Female seeds says it's a 8 weeks crop but I think it will be closer to 10 at that pace. Slight colour change that I dont like very much but it seems to do that every time I grow so... Nothing alarming so far ! I removed some lower flowers that weren't getting enough light. Cheers !

Looks like they are budding but slowly... Or maybe it's me who is too impatient ! Overall looking still ok, no major issue to report, kind of autopilot. Trichomes are coming along, even on the big sugar leaf and the smell is delicious : mango/tropical/pineapple, very sweet. Just needing some bud mass growth but I hope well get there soon ! Cheers

We are budding ! Things are going along just fine, I noticed a slighted nute burn so I did some water only. I left too many sides branches and now it's a bit late to remove them, it will hurt my yield but lesson is learned ! Lot's of humidity this week, hard to stay below 60%... Did a last defoliation cause they were too bushy. Cheers

Budding by the day ! Putting some weight finally. One on the top is getting real fat, the one on the bottom has too much side branches/larf cause I'am an idiot who did not prune enough... Great smell and they are getting shiny ! Some pests (fungus gnats/spider mite) appeared I dont know how considering the room is sealed but anyway I'm trying to keep things under control. Feed also is not perfect as it seems some burn (tips) but at the same time lower leaves are getting yellow so I'm not really sure... Not everything is ideal but we are getting there !

Still swelling ! Looks like they are packing even more weight, trichomes all over the place (pictures don't do justice), sticky, smelly... Really two different expressions of this strain in shape and smell. The fade is slightly starting, I hope one more week will be enough as the trichomes are still way too clear right now. On the bad side, the infestation is out of hand, I kind of stopped the fungus gnat with traps but the spider mite are gaining ground, fuxxing beasties !

This is the last week ! I'm going to chop a day or two maximum after the pictures that you can see. Trichomes are mostly milky with a few clear and amber, just how I like it ! Nice fade, some beautiful colours hues here and there. Buds smell of sweet citrus with a hint of tropical, not acid at all and with a skunky/ripe fruit touch. Really dank. Full of resin, even some sugar leaves display some trichomes. The yield is not going to be that big because of some poor choices I made, lesson learned ! I'll update with an "harvest" week once everything is dried and trimmed. Until that time keep in touch I'm already starting a new grow diary in a few days ! Cheers

Smoke report time ! - Great high, pretty active but with a stoned comedown, long lasting, overall strong. - Great smell, sweet and floral, no grapefruit tho. But I kind of messed up the curing :(... - Good taste, very smooth. Overall I love this strain but I fucked up with the curing, I'm so mad haha. Thanks to everybody who followed along :)) !

Stretch hard so if you have a rather small space don't veg too long ! She easily gonna triple in size so I'd veg her 3 weeks in my space. Pretty resistant to overfeeding/pests. She is known to be weak regarding bud rot but she endured 60% humidity in late flower. Nice smell but not overwhelming so nice for discretion purpose. I'd grow her again !

@HighRoller909, Me neither... At least I will never plant them indoor anymore. Maybe if one day I have the chance to have a real space outdoor I'll just throw them in the dirt and see what happened but untill that they will remain in the fridge !

@CrokuDodu, same bro,a lot of their stuff.and I have no single desire to plant them anytime soon....

@HighRoller909, Bro sorry to hear that :((( ! I agree with you they are like the Monsanto of cannabis seeds it feels like, a big machine selling seeds in industrial proportions. I have to admit that I had pretty good results so far with them but I don't like the spirit they carry with their brand. Problem is I still have like 20+ seeds of their stuff in my fridge haha !

Hey mate, how do you cure your buds? Why did you say you fucked up with curing? Just curious because I want to know if I'm doing it right. Thanks mate
HighRoller909
HighRoller909commented4 years ago
@CrokuDodu, thanks for the reply mate. I find it better to not have completely dried buds in jars, some little amount of water must be there for the buds to breath in the jars and get rid of minerals, chemicals, they vaporize as them buds lose water in time. Timing of cutting down buds off branches is the most important part in my opinion. Up to now, my plants have always dried up in 4 days,in some cases 5 days and never had a harsh tasting smoke. Some bud types always taste harsher,I think it depends on the formation of callyxes and the plant's capability of absorbing nutes.Other than that, 4-5 days of drying was enough for me.I put them in jars afterwards and remove the covers when I feel they need fresh air.People who smoked my weed they all said it was a smoooooooth smoke. In my experience, bud that had extra moisture tasted worse. This is why I don't leave the moisturizing object in my jars all the time. Ah by the way,I hang them branch by branch and always do wet trimming.Dry trimming fucking sucks
CrokuDodu
CrokuDoducommented4 years ago
@HighRoller909, What I try to do now is to let the plant dry as a whole for at least 10 days and if possible 13-14 days and then put in the jars. An open the jars everyday. Last time I fucked because I did not let the plant dry enough and when I opened the jars I put them outside (cause I did not want my flat to smell like weed) and it was fuxxing cold outside so I may have "quick dry" them and messed up the cure. I'm really guessing to be honest with you. What is strange is that a few years back I did not even bother about all that shit and always had great results but now it's like fucking rocket science and it's not always a success lol !

I feel ya on the mites. Are you going to do a deep clean after this round? I bleached every surface in my grow space after my small infestation.
TheMachinist
TheMachinistcommented4 years ago
@CrokuDodu, don't forget the ducting. I filled a bucket with a mild bleach solution and dunked the ducting and then slowly pulled it out making sure to get all the crevices soaked.
CrokuDodu
CrokuDoducommented4 years ago
@TheMachinist, Clearly I have no other choice...After drying is done I'll use alcohol and a broad spectrum insecticide in there !!
