I have always taken clones from friends' plants so far ahead with the vegetation. I have no experience with direct cloning. The plants are 28 days old, they are starting to make the second leaf stage and we are at the fourth internode. When could I start cloning this plant?
Hi,
You can clone once the plant is well established.
I usually wait until week 5 or 6 when the plant it a big bigger.
When clone do a 45 degree cut. Use an sterile knife, pruner or razor blade. Keep the growing medium moist but don't water. Use a sprayer For foliage feeding until you see roots coming out from the bottom of the pot, and keep the clones in a dome they need the humidity.

➡️16/9 Wet each plant with 0.5l of water and start the fertilization cycle of the vegetative scheme, Hesi line. The soil was still quite heavy from the last watering 3 days ago, but the plants were starting to show a faded green color and I preferred to start correcting with just 0.5 of water and fertilizer. I leave the box open to dry the floor waiting for the excess water to evaporate. I hope they don't have too much watering and nutrient problems. Number # 2 has signs that seem like a slight deficiency, now it shouldn't give any problems anymore, we will see in 3 days how they react.

Today I wet with 0.45l of water at the correct ph. The clones seem to be doing quite well, some showing slight signs of imbalance, most likely due to temperatures still too high. ➡️24/9 Used to organic fertilizers I have not considered the right use of hesi fertilizers. As I understand it is better to fertilize with each irrigation. Anyone use the Hesi line and have any suggestions? In the meantime, the Red Mandarine have been housed together with the Dos si Dos 33 to get them used to neon. The clones proceed, suffering from the heat also due to the external temperatures but I can not do anything about it except ventilate even 10 times a day. We hope well....

➡️28/9 In the end yesterday no photos, recovery today. I sprayed the clones with water and madame grow and will do it again later a couple of times like I did the past few days. There are no signs of roots yet but I see a slight growth on the top of the clones, I trust they will grow at their best. The mothers were irrigated last night with 2 liters of fertigated water with 2/3 of the recommended dose.
➡️ 29/9 The new week started yesterday but we won't be so fussy: D The clones had been cut about 40 days after the mother plant, I don't complain that it took a little longer to take root, but finally we are starting to see some roots. I cleaned the serretta and sprayed everything with 1ml / l of madamegrow. Mothers are doing well. starting to be a little tight but as soon as the clones are racked (one more week) they will be cut out and put into flowering, in their place two other clones will be inserted who will be the new mothers, until I understand which of the two to keep for some time. ➡️06/10 Stressful day for these girls. The two mothers have been cut and have produced, at the moment, 25 clones. In the serretta the 3 orange sticks are the top of the red mandarine. The previous clones have been moved to the big box, they will make the last day at 18/6, from tomorrow I will remove one hour of light a day until 12/12. Many clones have remained very small, you will see along the way which ones to keep and which not. I wet the mothers with 0.4 of fertigated water and the clones with a minimum dose of fertilizer still with cuttings. That's fine for now, yeah!
.➡️07/10 The clones of the first round have all grown 18, 100% successful. The healthiest from the first two mothers will be saved as new mothers and the previous ones will be sent to bloom. The new clones remain in their locker with a lot of humidity, I have already sprayed water at the correct ph 2 times, and I will repeat the passage for another 2 times at least. In the big box today an hour of light will be removed to slowly enter flowering- Well so, Yeah!

Tomorrow the clones will be decanted in pots of 6.5 even if I know they will not fill them all, but the first round I'm happy, and probably also for the second. ➡️15/10 Today 7 clones of the second round were decanted into 0.4l jars, in their place 7 clones of Red mandarine entered. The mothers were irrigated with 0.5 of fertilized water and the clones were given a dose of minimal nutrients. Other clones have been placed in a glass cup with water, if they root well even so I will plant them and send them directly to flowering. The mothers were defoliated. Well so, Yeah!
➡️16/10 I see more roots on the clones in the greenhouse, tomorrow I will transplant them and fill in the gaps with red mandarinas, the rest seems to be going well. Well so, Yeah!
➡️17/10 Another 10 clones of the second round were transplanted into pots of 0.4 and soaked from below with fertilized water from the cuttings scheme. Some show a green layer, similar to a green alga, I hope it does not create problems but I will inquire about a possible solution. Mums were bathed with 0.5 fertilized water in the first week flowering scheme. The clones of the first round instead with 0.4 fertilized as above. Yeah!

We have come to an end for them too.
We assess the situation.
The plant is strong and resistant but compared to other genetics grown at the same time it was not very fond of drought and excess fertilization, as well as excess water. It has slowed down due to the addition of the soil and the fertilizers used before bat guano, extending the flowering by at least 3 weeks (my fault, I changed the way to fertilize after a month from the beginning of the cycle).
It lends itself very well to LST and wild cutting. She quickly recovered from various cuts without showing signs of herself (I'm a pretty loving dad: p).
The buds are compact and dense, the thc crystals are small and extend as far as the eye can see over the entire flower and almost half of the leaf. They are visually smaller than other genetics, but they are also many more.
The smell is strong and predominantly smells of diesel with lemon notes after the second sniff. In the mouth it takes on an earthy flavor with woody notes, almost completely losing the lemon that you feel when smelling it.
The "hit" is physical enough, not so much to lie down on the sofa, but enough to make you give up cooking, making the economy run by calling a restaurant that you deliver. Unleash your appetite a little. A smoke mainly in the evening (after dinner, if you like to cook: p), perhaps accompanied by a film and a fruity beer, like a weissbier.
I don't think it is really suitable for a novice, but if you look after it properly it produces very thick and compact buds, satisfying even to the eye.
However that's not what I personally wanted, I was hoping for more citrus notes and a longer lasting high.
The yield is lower than I expected and the lamp I have at the moment did not do my plants justice. I will see the difference with the next bloom under viparspectra's P1500, but already under mars hydro's ts600 the yield is higher.
I would have preferred a more citrusy and less earthy flavor, I prefer the sweet notes to the classic diesel of the herb. However it is a plant that deserves, with not excessive stone.

Today I have collected everything, removed the leaves for sunbathing and put aside the sugary leaves. 501 grams total, excluding the 181 of the bowl in which they barely fit. I emptied 7 jars. I am quite satisfied, considering that they grew in a 120x120 box with a 150w led lamp, which proved to be exceptional! Viparspectra P1500. a real beauty, as soon as I can I take another one, certainly from the XS series! bestial, and it doesn't even cost that much. today day 1 of drying in a wedryer .... it is not a little stuff, but there was just right. the final review of this trip soon, yeah!

Nice grow, from my own experience the Dos doesn't like being touched too much and likes its acidic soil, coffee grinds it likes a lot. It can be a little bit fiddly of a grow but I find it a good evening smooth smoke, I usually share it out when everyone is talking too much!
@NexusDevil, I found it pretty easy to grow, even if it doesn't like being dry and high temperatures. However, I don't really like the aftertaste of "diesel", so I take it out of my gardens. however very productive and with a good lemon scent 😀 🦄
I don't even know what to say. Your diaries are impressive to say the least and are inspiring. I enjoy smoking and reading them; thank you for knowledge and experience. I would comment on all, but so much to say. Cheers!
