Sorry about the incorrect pic that’s actually week 2 ; I don’t have any pics of the first week as I started tracking just now (end of week 6) so I’m just filling out the weeks before with the details. I started a Banana Blaze auto and a Daiquiri Lime by Dutch Passion directly in coco , they sprouted in about three days and have shown a great growth rate! I’m roughly following Canna coco schedule for nutes and EC , I’m trying to keep the right vpd for each stage of growth and also the correct ppfd/dli , in order to give them the best possible environment. I’m hoping for some dense, frosty and smelly buds :)

Sorry about the few pics I just started using growdiaries but I’m already 6 weeks in so ther will be more pics from then onwards, this was my first time topping but the girls were growing really fast so I thought I’d give it a shot. I already grew dutch passion genetics and they seem to have an amazing growth rate and can take some real heavy training!

I had to install an automatic watering system cause I was about to go on vacation (during week 5) and I build a scrog so they could grow into it and hoped that would be enough, they are still growing fast and are showing more and more bud sites

I went away for a week and had a buddy refill the reservoir but they were left untrained and as you can see got pretty messy. I posted a pic when I left them(beginning of the week) and the other three are from when I came back, very messy but still growing quite well, the banana blaze auto is in preflower/flower by the end of this week while the daiquiri is a little behind.

I’ve been defoliating and training them since I came back from vacation , I also bought a couple more supplements (humic acids and silicate) and started feeding more , these pics are from the last days of week 6 so there’s a bit of a gap where I didn’t take pics , from now on I’ll be definitely posting more pics! They seem to be doing well, the banana blaze is finishing her first week of flower while the daiquiri is finally starting to.

The banana blaze is starting to frost and stink up very nicely while the daiquiri still seems to be in preflower and growing , had to defoliate her a bunch and adjust her to the scrog so that’s maybe why she looks a bit stressed/droopy but they both are doing great overall! I’m trying to water by hand at least once a week to give the banana a little more p-k and less n since she is pretty ahead with flower.

Help! I just found a couple holes in my banana blaze stems with some small egg-like stuff coming out of them , it looks like my first grow (outdoor) and I think it was some sort of stem borer/moth . Anybody has some advice how to get rid of them? Is it actually a stem borer?

Hi Bro, sorry to say this but you a have a bastard worm digging actively your stem. What you see coming out of the hole is a chewed bolus. Hurry up!! First thing to do is to spray through the hole (with a long neddle) a solution of water/soluble sulphur/salt (or a synthetic pesticide in extreme cases) you have to spray generously with a such pressure. Then finish the bastard introducing a very thin metal wire (braided electric davo) to prick and kill the worm deeply. They belong to Cossus Cossus" family, you can use also nematodes like "Neoaplectana carpocapsae" or "Neoaplectana feltiae". C'on Bro👊👊

The daiquiri lime finally stopped growing and is flowering , I had to defoliate her again quite a lot but I still have to adjust her to the scrog for the (hopefully) last time. The banana blaze is in her third week of flower , she had a bug problem in her stems but I think I’ve dealt with it quickly enough and she seems pretty unfazed by it. Vpd and dli are in check so overall I’m happy with how it’s going :)

The banana blaze is flowering nicely and getting really sticky, maybe a slight calcium deficiency but nothing to worry about yet. The daiquiri finally stopped growing and is starting to smell quite citrusy , probably gonna be the better yielder. I would like to bring rh under 55% but it’s been raining a lot so my dehumidifier can’t keep up but it’s not that late in flower so it should be fine. Overall happy with how it’s going :)

The pics are from a couple of days ago when it was still week 10 but I just got around to uploading them , the banana blaze is fattening up nicely and is developing an awesome fruity/sweet aroma , it’s also getting some purple shades on the buds maybe due to the lower temps. She probably has 2 to 3 weeks left. The daiquiri lime is my favorite of the two ,even if she’s taking quite a while more. The lime smell and frost are setting in real good on this one , very excited to taste the final product even if she still needs at least a month longer. Would like to have a lower rh but the rainy days keep on coming so not much I can do about it apart from running my dehumidifier 24/7 but it should be a pretty smoth grow from here on out I hope :)

The banana blaze is starting to show some amber but probably she still needs a couple of weeks. She has a nice fruity aroma and some good frost but the bud structure is a bit airy. The daiquiri lime is going strong and has a great smell and good resin production, the bud structure seems to be also nice and dense but she needs quite a bit longer.

The banana blaze is finishing up and has a decent amount of amber trics, gonna chop her next week probably. The buds are quite airy/foxtaily but the terp profile is on point. The daiquiri lime is definitely my favorite of the two ; the buds are very compact and have a good amount of frost and limey smell to them , can’t wait to taste her :)

She’s finally alone in the tent so I moved her to the middle, readjusted to the scrog and spread her out a bit. Her buds are rock-dense and smell awesome , there’s a slight salt build up in the coco so I’m gonna give her a light flush today but overall she’s doing great ! Can’t wait to taste the buds once dried and cured :)

Grown in coco , fertigated automatically 4 times a day with canna coco nutes and some supplements. Topped once and defoliated a lot , she responded very well . It was my second time running this strain so I knew she was a fast grower that could take a beating but I didn’t know that the airy/foxy buds are most likely a genetic trait, as with the first run I heat stressed in flower so I’m sure it was my fault. This run the environment was in check so it’s most likely her genes , but she is a great yielder and is still a very good smoke :)

She’s ripening up nicely and probably has a couple of weeks to go before harvest. Buds are dense , frosty and smell like lime/lemon so I’m really happy with this one. Can’t wait to chop :)

She took a while but she’s finally finishing up , she’s starting to pull nutrients from her leaves and the pistils are mostly orange , I’ll probably chop in a week or so but I still have to check the trics. I’m very happy with her bud structure and citrusy terp profile , she also has good resin production so I’m sure it’ll be an awesome smoke! The wait seems to be worth it especially in terms of yield; I’m expecting at least 200/250g of bud from her but we’ll see :)

Had to harvest a couple days earlier than I expected cause I found a bud with some mold in it, probably due to the size of it and the not low enoug rh (couldn’t keep it below 50%) but I checked the trics and they were as I like (5% amber). Very impressed with the buds size , compactness and smell , definitely going to be one of the best autos I grew especially in terms of yield . She also has a good resin production but nothing extraordinary. I don’t know if her staying so long in veg (7 weeks) was just genetics or if the topping stressed her a bit but that made her develop a ton of bud sites. Overall a great strain that I’ll certainly be growing again in future!
