Organic Vs Inorganic

Hi everyone, one week has passed and they are now in seedling stage.There is about 12 hour diff between them when sprouting.The first one is in Coco and second one is in soil.I am only using pH adjusted water by spraying.I think they are alittle bit of slow in growth but still progressing.Stay tunes for more guys.Happy growing... ✌️ 🇲🇲

Hi everyone, this week,I am monitoring closely about the slow growth.And what I found out is that could be due to old times mistake overwatering.I only watered by spraying but they became stunt growth and droppy. However,there is still hope on my ladies.By the way I did a experiment by tranplanting the plants near the edge of the pot instead of middle.I don’t know can we plant at the edge not at the middle?Will roots be grown normally?Let’s see.My intention is to give her more space on horizontal while doing LST rather than vertical growth.Happy growing to you all. ✌️ 🇲🇲

Hi everyone, Here’s the update for this week. Soil Week 4(Day 22~28) She had a significant growth this week and everything seems to be fine.Just have some curling leaves due to heat stress.So I raise my light alittle bit and increase ventilation.This week, I topped up the soil with some Tea leaf fertilizer and Coffee ground.Hope they will be the good sources of Nitrogen for her.Here’s the nutrient solution for this week. RO water Amino power 0.5ml/L pH-6.4 ppm-86 Run off pH-7.0 ppm-1900 Coco Week 4(Day 22~28) She had little or no growth at all for the whole week.So I think I have to let her go.Preparing for another grow in Coco.I will flush the pot first, before the next one.Wish me luck for this time. 😊 Happy Growing to you all... ✌️ 🇲🇲

Hi everyone,Here’s the update for this week.It's interesting to see how will they behave in different medium and under different training. Soil Week-5 ( Day 29~35 ) She is very healthy and start LST this week.My edge growing is still working 😄 and I got alot of space on horizontal to train her.Make my own style LST with pant laces which I have been collecting for months 😆.She is well responsed to my training.Still not showing any sign of flowering but I think it’s near.I don’t water this week.The soil is still moist and old friends(Fungus Gnat)come to visit sometimes 😂 .But don’t see any problem yet.So put some colour tape around the pot.Overall,the whole week is just great. Coco #2 Week-1 ( Day 1~7 ) I started new germination this week and she is now one week old.The old one(Coco #1) is transplanted into the another pot with soil and it seems to like it.She is slowly recovered and start shooting new leaves.The new one is also similar to the old one.I don’t know why they are very slow growth at early days and droopy.This time,I am sure it is not caused by over watering. I watered the cup one day before planting.And recorded it’s weight daily.The cup loss weight from day to day.When under humidity dome, the plant drink less.The medium is keeping moist and I used a transparent cup for seedling covered with a dark one.So I can see not only the medium’s moisture but also growth of roots.Roots are grown well but the plant didn’t seem to be happy at all.Hope to be lucky with this one.She is transplanted at Day-6 and watered for the first time. Hi everyone, Here’s the update for week 6 along with a video. Soil(Organic grow) Day 35~42 She becomes alot bushy and start showing pre flowers this week.Continue LST and all going well.I just tuck-in the fan leaves under the strings.The space become so tight.You can see in my video.Most of the bud sides are visible to light.Only some are covered by fan leaves.So I am still thinking about defoliation.May I know your opinion about defoliation auto? Coco made my grow so difficult.I made alot of rotation this week.Coco #1 is now fully recovered in 1 gallon pot and Coco#2 seedling is not well.I transplant Coco #1 into 10 gallon final pot again.So it’s like 1gallon soil to 10gallon Coco.I don’t know why she can’t thrive directly in Coco/perlite mixed.She needs a bit touch of soil to recover.From now on golden days are coming.I Hope so.She will be introduced to my ScrOG soon as you can see in my video.Here’s my nutrient solution giving after transplanting. I am using LST for my organic grow and ScrOG for inorganic grow.I will neither top nor fim them.Defoliation and Lollipoping depend on situations.I want to keep them away from stress as best as I can and maximize the yield.For now, Both of them are happy. 😊 Soil-Organic-LST Day 42~49 She is turning herself into a monster plant.Still in stretching period and alot of lateral growth this week.During the last two days of this week, leaves are droppy when the light on.Just like they do not awake yet.After two or three hour later, they become normal.Except this, it is a wonderful week.Here’s my nutrient giving for this week along with my potting mix. Hi everyone, here’s the update for this week. Soil-Organic-LST Day 64~70 Buds are forming nicely.Still not shooting any crystal yet.I think she is taking times.I like that.I can also see some dark or brown spots on fan leaves.I know I treat her best.So may be it’s her genetics. When I grow these auto strains,I notice that they are very different to photoperiod or my local landrace strains.I think they are cross breeding alot and taking some strange traits from both parents.Some of the leaves are unsymmetrical and some are abnormal.However, As long as they provide me with big and frosty buds, I am not mad...😉 Here’s my potting mixed and watering for this week. Hi everyone,This time I can update right on time and this could be the last week update before harvest.I am planning to harvest Soil girl or may be both of them next week.Hope you guys enjoy the journey.Actually Soil girl is more mature than Coco girl.More in amber trichomes.Coco girl, She got mostly cloudy trichomes and only some amber.Still not sure it will be better or not if I chop both of them together.I start giving them water only and will flush Coco girl before harvest. Harvest report Soil-Organic Getting about 360g of wet weight.She was filled with approximately 20% amber trichomes when I chopped her down. Coco-Inorganic Getting about 660g of wet weight.She is filled with mostly cloudy and about 5% amber but no clear trichomes. I will update the dried weight later on... Edited: Update Dried Weight Soil(Organic)- 97grams Coco(Inorganic)- 137grams __________________________ Appearance, Yield, Cost, Taste Appearance Soil-Organic Her buds are like a gardener or farmer who eats its own grow and stays fit and healthy.Small but dense and turning into some colourful buds in the late flowering stage. Coco-Inorganic Her buds are liked a bulky type who eats the right nutrition.Fit and strong with muscles.Becoming foxtail in the late flowering stage. Yield Growing in Coco using cannabis friendly nutrient is twice of the yield than in Soil using organic matters.So in the end, Coco grow is good for commercial purpose.Big and nice looking buds, proud to show.But for the one who like to smoke the finest taste should go for organic soil... Edited: I am pretty amazed that Soil grow is only 40grams in diff after dried. Cost But In cost, it’s a total win for Organic grow.I don’t have to spend more than 20$ for Organic grow.Coco grow cost me more than 100$ for the entire grow. Taste Both of them are not yet properly cured.But I have tasted both at one week of drying process. Soil-Organic Her taste is smooth and it’s like combination of fruits.Not have a distinct or strange taste.Everything comes in perfection and satisfaction... 👌 Coco-Inorganic She is nice for smoking.But it’s taste like missing something or strange in taste.I can’t get my satisfaction like soil grow.But the main reason is to get high.Isn’t it???😆 After all, I am very pleased what I have done and will still carry on.I will try to make some more amazing diaries as soon as I have something new in my mind.For now, I will keep on learning growing cannabis.Also Congratulation to myself for New Year with Marshydro winning award.From TS-600 to SP-6500...🥇 Hope all of you enjoy the grow...
