What a week for this girl here. It wasn't enough that she has the hardest start of all and had to catch back up but now my cat decided to inspect my LST job afterward and snapped the main stalk right above the third node effectively topping the plant a week too late after the stem was a half inch thick. Well when I found it, which was not immediately, I did surgery and then waited. I knew if those limp leaves didn't perk up in about 3 days I was doomed. However, these MSNL plants as I've said time and time again are very hardy. The photos show that it was back by day 4. The 4 branches that weren't snapped off thickened up but one got especially sturdy. I think it took over as the main because it's got the thickest stalk now. Its kinda like how people say it grows while recovering from FIM. But the weirdest thing is that this new main has mutated at the end and grown 3 way nodes and basically topped itself yet there are shoots still 3 shoots trying to grow out of the node where the two heads meet. Its really weird especially considering the previous leaf deformations. This thing may hermie after soooo much stress early on but we shall see..... no really look at ALL the pics! I feel like I may be surprised by this one by the end. She is a tough one for sure...
