So these were some seeds left from my last purchase and since I got free Seedsman strains with my Fastbuds purchase I decided to have a genetics test with a variety of indicas, sativas, and hybrids. These are supposed to be a crippling indica so here goes. Soaked in RO and sprouted in paper towel under heat pad. On my last auto grow I tried to germ one of these and got nowhere. This one needed assistance getting off the ground and I thought it was a goner but it pulled through. Side note: I tried 2 more for a top vs fim experiment and lost both. Have had bad germ rate from MSNL autos. Their fem and reg photos have never given me an issue. Hmmm... maybe Siberian ruderalis is inferior to Canadian, eh? I crack myself....said the seed casing 😄. I have one left but thank God I have something now to show for a 5 pack purchase. Out of 5 each I only lost 1 Auto Caramelicious and 1 Lemon Haze Auto. I still have pics and the grow was organic so I have enough info to do a diary of that grow. The yield was low due to stress and budget but the quality was great and I had one turn legit blue. Think its the blue black genes in Caramelicious maybe.. Anyhow this is MSNLs sole contender this time around since I have a grasp of the genetics already so good luck Ctritical Thunder....
Wow kudos to this little plant. After a tragic start she hit a growth spurt and is now on track. Talk about the come back kid. Took the feed and new lights like a champ. Can't wait to see what this one can do. MSNL doesn't want to let my money go just yet lol
So this and Blueberry are getting much taller than the others mainly because I've noticed that the phenos I have are single cola dominant. There was basically no secondary growth at all coming from the first node so I stripped the first true leaves and the microshoots and started some real LST on the main stem and now not only is my canopy still even but I've finally noticed a bit of outward growth. I have a new opinion of this one every week. It's wishy washy and grows odd considering its advertised as an "indica lover's dream" yet it says let them flower 2 weeks longer than their own recommendation. Don't know what to make of this or either of my Seedsman strains but we shall see...
What a week for this girl here. It wasn't enough that she has the hardest start of all and had to catch back up but now my cat decided to inspect my LST job afterward and snapped the main stalk right above the third node effectively topping the plant a week too late after the stem was a half inch thick. Well when I found it, which was not immediately, I did surgery and then waited. I knew if those limp leaves didn't perk up in about 3 days I was doomed. However, these MSNL plants as I've said time and time again are very hardy. The photos show that it was back by day 4. The 4 branches that weren't snapped off thickened up but one got especially sturdy. I think it took over as the main because it's got the thickest stalk now. Its kinda like how people say it grows while recovering from FIM. But the weirdest thing is that this new main has mutated at the end and grown 3 way nodes and basically topped itself yet there are shoots still 3 shoots trying to grow out of the node where the two heads meet. Its really weird especially considering the previous leaf deformations. This thing may hermie after soooo much stress early on but we shall see..... no really look at ALL the pics! I feel like I may be surprised by this one by the end. She is a tough one for sure...
Well if you saw last week my cat basically topped this plant at the 2nd node and I had to perform surgery. She pulled through fine with the main stem losing apical dominance and growing slowly while the 4 side branches became thick mains. The mutated branch has grown out 2 headed and still looks like the craziest formation in the bunch. As long as it keeps bushing in addition to growing up which it has really done this week the yield should still be okay even with all the stress she's been through. Comeback kid award candidate here along with this week's Amnesia. I've had issues with these seeds and germination but now she just won't die lol. Hope she turns out monstrous against all odds but we shall see...
Check out day 33 for the latest mutie pic...
This lady is amazing. After all her early struggles and being snapped she had turned into a wonderfully shaped 6 headed hydra. The mutations are cool to watch as well but as long as she doesn't herm I'll be excited. Honestly though the way she is stacking she may turn out to be a monster producer if given a couple of extra weeks at the end but we shall see. My main issue is that this plant has large rusty spots on the fan leaves. They all got overfed this week but none of the others have these marks. Other than that she is doing great. Day 41 has pics of the spots...
Never in a million years did I expect this plant to explode like this. She has my light maxed out. Just hung my new light yesterday and I attached it directly to my frame so now it really can't move any higher. I hope her stretch is done since she's 3 foot tall almost after having her main stem snapped off at the 4th node and taking a week to bounce back. She has some mutations and self topped a few branches but there should be 6 massive colas on her come harvest. I've come to the conclusion that she is a true product of her environment and the stress she's endured. Hope she gets very thick with trichs and turns colors but she's not really stressed anymore so we shall see...
What can I say about this mutant plant other than its 3 ft and ready for 2 ft long colas. The description on the MSNL website says that if left to finish for an extra couple of weeks it can produce massive buds. Well I plan to give her as long as she wants to get as big and fat and done as she'd like. This smoke is supposed to be ridiculously strong as well from the ATF×WW max with the yield of critical mass so I have high hopes for her now. She better produce since its hell to germinate this strain with any technique. Had terrible rate of success like 20% but it is what it is. This plant is worth the other 4 I hope but we shall see...
Also check out the roots growing under the tape where I fixed the snap in the main stem weeks ago. Never seen that or the little budsite forming in the fork where this gal topped one of her own colas. Yeah this thing was a mutant from the beginning when the leaves started pointing weird. She better not herm. Or do and give me seeds lol
This is gonna be a straight up beast. 3 feet of nothing but bud sites. I mean she is set up for 2 foot colas no exaggeration. There are 6 equally large stems with solid bud all the way into the heart of the plant. Did a little defoliating to light some prime bud sites but really just trying to keep up with her nutrient demand. What a producer though. Gonna take forever to finish up but it'll be worth every second as this strain has surprised me every step of the way. Love this gal...
Wow this thing is bigger than my wife. No joke check the pics. This baby has such huge fan leaves it leads me to believe I may see some truly special colas on this one. MSNL still has all my respect as a breeder. Those leaves are also like a buffer for me. I can pump this lady full of nutes and as long as I don't burn completely through the fan leaves my flowers will be safe and huge. I mean those leaves are gonna eventually yellow off and drop anyway. Why not serve a higher purpose and take all the nute burn for the good of the buds? I told you guys I'm always experimenting with something every time I do a new run and sometimes it gets me in trouble but this really makes sense to me hahaha. All I know is I'm feeding her with a LOT of nutes. Way more than any other plant I've ever grown and she's taking it like a champ. Gonna definitely have to do a really thorough flush at the end but damn she's gonna be big! We shall see....
Still filling in nicely. If it can stay on track and fill in its entire frame this yield should be the biggest ever of any auto I've grown. Only downside is the extra time she takes to reach her full potential. Defoliating weekly and pumping PK as much as I dare trying to keep her happy until harvest. Very excited about this monster...
Not much to report this week except a more pronounced lemon lime smell. The site warned that these buds need a couple of extra weeks to really reach their potential so I'm gonna keep feeding her until they have maximum bulk and see what kind of epic yield we can get.
Broke my pH pen this week and missed a feed waiting on the new one. Probably gonna wait one more week before the flush on this monster. She is filling out great and starting to get a lemon lime smell. Excited for the last few weeks...
All of the buds have chunked up nicely and are now very sticky and stinky. She filled in well this week and is now starting to show some beautiful colors almost pink to the naked eye. My pics never do these ladies justice...
This monster will probably be the only lady around for the next update from the first run. She is a slow finisher but now all of her top colas have very nice purple and blue colors that I never expected from this strain. The buds look very much like White Widow which is a parent strain of this auto cultivar. Awesome experience with this one. Love it. See you next time....
This is powerful potent bud. Definitely designed to put you out. Also the smoke is extremely lung expanding meaning good luck not coughing with this strain.
This strain was a mutant freak. Started out stunted only to be snapped at the third node. Recovered and topped herself and just grew like crazy. Only one seed in this pack sprouted and it had some doubts but this one plant made up for a few smaller ones. Wish the buds were more dense. Definitely shaped like the white widow parent with a critical yield and a thunderfuck high. Taste and smell is lime citrus. Very potent smoke!
