Posse What a week, so many new things still to learn, tried to do LST to all the plants with mixed results.
Northern light is a bit overwatered(I think), letting her dry up a bit more, LST didn't work as planned, no nutrients yet.
Kush and I had a rough time, I broke the main stem while trying LST, but it was still hanging on, taped it back in position with some electrical tape. Let's hope for the best.
Quick one started showing her first pistels, so I guess it is going in pre-flowering stage, I will give Quick one some npk 2-2-4 and will try to give her after 4 weeks npk 0-9-10, She doing ok so far, a bit small compared to the others. LST went ok.
White widow also started to show some pistels, she looking good, won't give her any extra nutrients. LST went ok.
I will ease on the LST and instead will put a net over the plants (scrog)
Quick one and Northern light are the only ones I will give nutrients as their soil is only up to 60days, I will have to flush them, about a week before harvest.
White widow and Royal Kush have better soil will last 100 days so no nutrients needed, just ph water, no flushing.
Gave all some Neem oil, just in case, don't want mildew to get on leaves, will from here on only treat leaves one by one, because of the more frequent watering my RH went up to 55-60
Hopefully by next week all the plants will be in the flowering stage.
Any thoughts, I would be happy to hear about it.

Posse Good week, all plants entered pre-flowering, except for Kush, 1 week after breaking the stem she is still recovering, 2 fan leaves wrinkled up completely and she didn't make any progress, I decided to tie up the top leaves so other leaves would get more light.,🤔
Northern light 3 colas coming up, yellowing of bottom leaves, start giving some bloom npk 2-2-4
White widow is the only one where my LST paid off 6 colas 😄 I thought she was overwatered, but it seems she let her leaves go down at night and raises back up after light back on.
Quick one looking nice 1 big cola 2 smaller ones
Watered the plants twice a week now, every 3-4 days
RH 45-55%
PH 6.2-6.3
Tomorrow some Neem oil only on some leaves, to avoid pest coming in.

Posse Watering every 3 days, Northern light and Quick one getting terra bloom 2-2-4. Kush and White widow just PH 6.3 water.
Northern light going ok, have some yellowing leaves on the bottom, I guess it is some nitrogen deficiency from putting her in the wrong pot with the wrong soil, so npk 2-2-4 should be ok.
White widow looks good for now.
Quick one growing nicely with terra bloom npk 2-2-4
Last but not least, my poor kush, smaller flowers moving upward, but she lost a lot of leaves in the process, started showing some first pistels, still need some time, she has been set back for 2 weeks now, still have good hopes for her.
After watching my plants grow during these 7 weeks, I made some errors during the seedling and vegetative state where I can see now the drawbacks it has made for the plants, the first 4 weeks the most important, the rest will follow automatic.
To Flush or not to Flush, after some research and a lot of thinking 😀, I decided not to Flush, I will start giving them slowly more Terra bloom and add some green sensation from 4th week of flowering untill harvest.

Northern light ok
White widow got some serious nitrogen deficiency, plenty yellowing leaves on the bottom, start giving some bloom, let's see how that turns out?
Quick one ok
Royal kush finally made a comeback from its broken stem 2 weeks ago, started growing but leaves still hanging down,3 flowers around came up, I think she will look better by next week.
After 8 weeks, overall plants looking good but small, maybe they are still going to make a jump or maybe the 400W lamp isn't powerful enough, I thought they would have grown bigger by now🤔.

Posse All by all, another good week.
I decided to to put the autos on a 22/2 lightshedule, mainly because it getting colder outside. If it gets more cold, I will put them 24/0 till the end.
Gave them all some npk 2-11-14 and will continue till doing this untill harvest, NO FLUSH. Just PH water as we go in the last 10 days before harvesting.
As a newbie the flushing myth don't make sense at all and there is no proof that it is better, I believe that the time of harvest, drying and curing are more important for how your buds will smell and taste at the end. Most nitrogen deficiencies seem to be going away since I started giving nutrients. I also noticed that green sensation calibrates my pH water to 6.5 automatically?
Northern light looking good no more deficiencies I can see.
White widow lost some leaves yellowing(nitrogen) at the bottom, but she seems to be ok.
Kush is definitely back and making a nice comeback, although I can still see all the stress signs from breaking the stem on the plant. Whatever she gives me, I will be happy.
Quick one will be my first plant ready for harvest, she going now through the first round of darkening the pistils, I think another few weeks and she'll be ready.
Bought some small microscopes 60x to keep an eye on the trichomes, more pics next week.
Exciting times ahead.

Posse Very quiet week, they stopped growing, trichomes appeared on all plants and the smell getting stronger 😅. Had to put ONA block outside the growcloset.
Quick one has still some more time to go, very small buds at the moment, hope for some fattening this week. Keeping an eye on the trichomes.Fanleaves are starting to get yellowish. npk 2-11-14.
Northern light is going strong, looking gooooood. npk 2-11-14
White widow is going strong as well nice buds forming and fattening as we write this down. npk 2-11-14
Kush will be last as he had some setbacks, she running at least 2 weeks behind, looking like another month or more. npk 2-11-14
10 weeks conclusion: Plants looking healthy but too small, around 35-45cm of height, need better lights, after looking on the net, TS600W Marshydro looks great and not too expensive.
I agree, its mostly a scam to get people to buy more shit.
Stopping feeding for the last 7-10 days and only giving water is all that is needed, in my experience.
Posse After week 11, I see that patience becomes a virtue when it comes to growing weed.
Again nothing much to do except for watering and cleaning up some death leaves.
Quick one is getting ready to get cut, fanleaves drying and falling off, small buds small yield, hopefully by week 12, PH 6.5
Next will be white widow who is showing very few amber trichomes already, maybe she will be ready soon, I want 50-50 cloudy and amber, npk 2-11-14
Northern light making nice progress, looks like it going to give me the most yield, npk 2-11-14, I like this strain.
Royal Kush is going ok now, small leaves but hey she doing fine, looking like January 🤦♂️🏻 npk 2-11-14
Setting up dryroom, as this will be one of the most important things to do correctly to insure some quality weed.
Trying to get conditions inside dryroom to 18-20 degrees, a little breeze and humidity under 50%😁, I will try 2 ways, one by trimming the buds and put them in a paper bag and two by hanging the buds trimmed upside down by the stem, 4-10 days later depending on how fast they dry,
got some Jars with bovedo 58 for curing.

Posse Another week of watering and picking up dead leaves.
Quick one is almost ready 🤦♂️🏻 going to 13 weeks, normally should have been ready after 9 weeks. Showing a few amber trichomes, almost ready. PH 6.5
White widow on the other hand seems to be going very fast, also showing some amber trichomes, will be ready soon. npk 0-9-10
Northern light is my best plant in terms of yield, few more weeks npk 2-11-14
Royal kush still a bit behind, but looking good npk 2-11-14
Decided to do some stemsplitting with a drill on Quick one around 2-3 days before harvesting, I will use a small clean bit 1/4 to drill 3 clean holes through the bottom of the stem about an 1 cm apart. According to my research this should give the plant a stress reaction and a last trichomes boost before I cut it down. Let's see if it works?
Quick one is a fast strain, unfortunately she never came to full potential, too little light in the beginning(stretched), didn't do the LST correctly , should have start feeding her nutrients earlier...next time better..the stemsplitting was a waste of time nothing changed and didn't flush her as I didn't see the need or any major nutrient deficiencies , neem oil did a good job during vegetative state at keeping pest away. She was my smallest plant in size, only 12 grams dried, kinda disappointing but buds smelling nice and looking sweet. It's all good👊🏻
She smokes great, nice skunky weed, beautiful buds, sad she was so little😁

Posse Week 13 was a good week, harvested my first plant ever 🎉 Quick one 🎉. After 5 days of drying in paper bag, I put them in a jar to start curing for 2-3 weeks.
Northern light still going good, buds looking sweet, has some deficiency, but nothing to cry about. npk 2-11-14
White widow is getting ready, very quiet week , lost some more yellow turning leaves, trichomes showing small patches of amber. npk 2-11-14 no more water untill harvest.
Royal Kush which I just figured out is Diesel automatic 😁, is going ok, npk2-11-14
Got the new light, quickly installed, maybe it will give them that extra boost at the end.Very 😎 bright.
Expected a little more from her, but she wasn't far off from quick one, small yield, small plant 42 cm she had a life cycle without any visible problems, but still didn't deliver , harvest 88 days from seed. She smokes nice nothing great, buds looking sweet.

Posse White widow, no difficulties during growing but again undersized, I hope the new light TS600 Marshydro will bring better results, 46 grams not even dried yet😅, but then again her buds are looking and smelling damn good

Posse Ok Northern light, she not ready as yet, 107 days, she is the only one of 4 plants who really came true and still has potential to do better with LST. She is definitely a cup 🏆 and makes any newbie feel good about his first grow. Thank you RQS( it was a free seed)😎
Royal kush will be like white widow and Quick one , small yield but great smokes.
She recovered amazingly after breaking her stem in two, these autoflowers are strong little plants

Posse Cut off all the good looking upper buds, she still looking strong and will keep her going as long as possible, watering with ph 6.3 every 4 days(1.5L) , I am now patiently waiting for the lower buds to ripen, it just great, every week you get new harvest👊🏻
She still has another week, that makes her 18 weeks, will enjoy smoking her.
First grow, happy looking buds
111 days after harvest, lower buds weren't that ready. Drying buds now in paper bags, about 7 days and we put them to cure.

Posse What is there not to love, big buds even for beginners, will try this strain again to get the most out of it, took about 111 days and could have waited another week , sweet looking buds
The buds are hard and looking and smelling sweet, cut of the top bud, the rest will follow in a couple of days.
As a final conclusion after my first 4 plants:
I loved the experience, enjoy smoking my own weed, ganja farming is a blessing for everyone who loves the herb, especially with these autoflower strains, fast and easy, I was amazed at the extend on how to handle the plant with all the different techniques and problems that comes along with it. Still have lot to learn, but hey we getting there.
Keep on growing 👊🏻

So far from all 4 plants,
1)Best smoke: Quick one
2)Biggest yield: Northern light
3)Best comeback: Royal Kush
4)Easiest grow: White widow
I saw your selected response about flushing. I'm not saying it, a gardener with 13 years of experience, but much more qualified experts say that smoking nutrients, besides being harmful to you and those around you, alters the taste and has many negative aspects. Go for a 2-week flush; I do it 1 week before.
@Posse, Flushing is a term we often hear in cannabis growing communities. You've been told that flushing is essential for your plants, but you still don't understand how to do it correctly. Flushing is easy to perform and can make your roots healthier, as well as leaving you with a much tastier product after the harvest. This article shows you how it's done.
What is flushing?
The concept of flushing is no different from how we normally understand it. Flushing uses water to remove a buildup of material. Healthy cannabis cultivation typically requires the addition of fertilizers, many of which contain mineral traces that accumulate in the substrate and plant throughout the cycle.
Flushing concept
The flushing process helps remove any excess nutrients by "washing" the roots. Pure water is given and allowed to flow over the roots until it drains out. Any residue of mineral salts and salts is expelled from the growing medium, meaning the plant can deplete its remaining nutrient reserves before harvest day.
Flushing usually occurs about two weeks before the end of the flowering period, but it depends on the growing medium and how heavy the feeding schedule is. The only case in which we advise against flushing is if you are growing with super organic soils, which contain a lot of microbes and beneficial organisms that can be washed away by adding too much water.
Why is it important to flush?
Cared-for cannabis buds
Even though some people might disagree, flushing your cannabis plants is essential if you've given them chemical nutrients. Cannabis that hasn't been properly flushed can have a harsh taste and release a harsh smoke that doesn't burn well. It's worth putting in the extra effort to ensure your buds are free of nutrients.
Most non-organic cannabis nutrients are chemically synthesized. This doesn't necessarily mean they are harmful to smoke, but your weed will taste much better without them. Feeding cannabis plants up until harvest day means that larger amounts of those minerals are still present in the plant when you harvest. We want to help the plant remove them so that we (or others) have a delicious product to smoke in the end.
How to dry and cure cannabis buds
Related story
How to dry and cure cannabis buds
Flushing can also be helpful when your plants receive too many nutrients. Overloading your plants with fertilizer can cause nutrient lockout, meaning the concentration of minerals around the roots is too high for them to function properly. As a result, they are unable to absorb efficiently. Heavily fed plants can also suffer from nutrient burn.
With commercial nutrients being so highly concentrated, nutrient lockout can be a serious problem.
In the case of burn or nutrient lockout, flushing the medium with properly pH'd water can help remove the buildup so you can continue with the feeding schedule. This is why some growers make it a habit to flush once or twice during the growth cycle, regardless of whether salt buildup or nutrient lockout is an issue.

Tip: The curing process can also help "unearth" some of the impurities left over from the grow and is a key stage in making your weed much more enjoyable.
How to flush cannabis plants
Trichomes on cannabis bud
As mentioned earlier, the flushing cycle should start about 2 weeks before the planned harvest. It's up to you when to start, but if you've used a very light feeding schedule, it might be a good idea to start flushing a bit later.
On the other hand, if you start flushing your plants too early, they may not produce as much, so make sure your plants show signs of ripening beforehand. Check the trichomes to see if they are changing color or becoming cloudy to gauge when it might be the right time to start flushing. Once about 10-20% of the trichomes have turned milky, a cannabis plant will be nearing harvest day, meaning you can consider starting the final flush.
Flushing in soil and hydroponics
Flushing cannabis plants is an easy process and can be completed in 4 simple steps. The idea is to give a heavy initial flush and then provide water for the rest of the cycle.
Flood the container or growing medium with stable pH water (at room temperature) until it drains from the bottom. Most tap water is fine, but you might want to adjust the pH just in case.
Wait 10-15 minutes.
Repeat step 1. You can use an EC/PPM meter to check the runoff until the reading matches roughly the number of dissolved solids in the water (before using it for flushing).
Feed the plants only water until harvest, waiting for the medium to dry out almost completely between waterings.

Some growers skip the first step and go straight to feeding water. It depends on how early you start flushing in relation to how many nutrients have been given. There's a risk of overwatering your plants at this stage, so make sure you have a clear idea of how much they're drinking beforehand and don't overdo it. We want to be sure not to invite mold into the garden by keeping the environment too humid, especially at this stage.
How to prevent mold on cannabis plants

How to prevent mold on cannabis plants
Flushing in hydroponics simply requires adding fresh water (pH 5.5-6.5) to the reservoir for the last few days of flowering. Again, it depends on how heavy your feeding schedule has been. In hydroponics, there is no medium for salt buildup, so when we flush the plants, they are immediately cut off from any nutrient source other than what remains in the reservoir. It takes time for the minerals to be completely rinsed from the medium.
Tips for flushing cannabis
Overfed cannabis plants can show green foliage
Growth stage - It can be a good idea to flush whenever there is a drastic change in nutrients. For example, the transition between the vegetative phase and the flowering phase is a time when feeding needs are likely changing. Flushing before introducing the new routine can give the plants a fresh start. Additionally, you'll have a clearer idea of nutrient levels in the medium and help maintain a stable pH.
Enzymes - Minerals and salts are compounds that can become rock-solid, making them difficult to move. After long feeding schedules, enzyme supplements can be helpful in breaking down large nutrient salts into smaller molecules to help remove them from the medium. These can be very useful at the end of the flowering period if the leaves still appear excessively green (normally dark green from overfeeding). They prevent the roots from absorbing more nutrients by thoroughly cleaning the
