4 Assed Monkey Sub-Irrigated

All 4 popped and are doing well. Finished out my Advance Nutrients Microbes and found a bunch of other products that are higher concentration. Two that are well known would be the Mammoth P and Fish Sh!t, and then the two that weren’t listed would be the Tribus Bloom and Zemnya’s Elixir. The higher concentration of these four products will allow them last a lot longer then the AN. Mammoth P is in the millions count, Tribus is in the billions, and Zemnya’s is in the trillion. Not sure about the microbe count on Fish Sh!t. Hopefully with such a diverse amount of microbes there will be some improved root growth which is my main goal. Emphasis on bacteria is because mycorrhiza products tend to be a wild card. A lot more sensitive to heat and I felt better off just getting a substrate already inoculated. Cannabis prefers bacteria dominated soil anyway and at the same time most bacteria products can far better handle temps then fungi. The Fish Sh!t has me real curious, despite having an interactive chart on there website I still don’t know the exact concentration. I chose the Tribus Bloom because I felt with autoflowers having bacteria specifically for mobilization of phosphorus and potassium solubility increased was more important. An emphasis on nitrogen fixers would only be beneficial for 4 weeks and with both potassium and phosphorus have affects on root growth it just made more since. Mammoth P and Tribus Bloom have different consortiums of bacteria so the phosphorus mobilization doesn’t become redundant with excess of the same. The Zemnya’s is interesting because it contains everything from nitrogen fixers to biofungicide. I’ll post a picture of this label because it’s fucking intense! Smells like cat piss and is directed at 1ml per 5 gallons. Very, very exciting! As long as we create a diverse ecosystem of bacteria I believe there will be a huge improvement on the two root zones! 🤤

Plants are coming along nicely. Will be posting the week on the actual date so that way I’m not updating the week with pictures every other day.

This week was fucking incredible. Started with the defoliation with LST and the plants just loved it. The two in the fron already have nice pre flowering going on while the two in the back continue to stretch. I am Foliar feeding as well and I don’t post my nutrient solution of that because it would muck up the weekly nite input. Looks like this though: 1/16 Kelp 1/8 Humic 1/8 Fulvic 1/8 Amino 1/16 Yuccq 1/16 Cane Molasses This seems to be working really well for me. Plant in the back right corner definitely responded and started lateral branching like a beast. The open structure is beautiful and I really can’t wait to watch them fill out more. The two in the front look like they will be the early finishers but still have decent structure 5ml Alchemist Stout 10ml Photosynthesis Plus

Another great week for the 4AM. A lot of defoliation this week to help spread light to the plant. The two plants in the back are beasts and the branching I’m getting from them is insane. The two girls in the front are done stretching and now developing their buds. A very fun strain to work with. I would say theres probably a solid 5 weeks out from the front ones being done and the back ones seem like they might push and extra two weeks on top of that.

These plants are insane. Just like the Sour Crack I find myself in able to keep up with the foliage. Shits like a hydra take one, two more pop up. It’s at the point now where the humidity is rising so I will be in the bush chopping that shit down for circulation.

Two girls in the front are stacking on weight and frost now. The smell is starting to come in and ranges from pine to a sweet citrus smell. Both the girls in front are some quick bitches. They stayed squat and our putting on some nice mugs. The girls in the back took more time to branch out and I am very interested to see how the bud develops on them. Back left got a bit neglected and the ph ran a bit high but she’s still stack with the one on the right. The back right one is bush as hell. The fan leaves are small and copious with frost developing on them so it makes it a pain to pluck and the fuckers are to small for me to want to bend over and try to trim them with the trimmers. Picked up some Killer Tea from Humboldts own, I was foliar feeding it at first then I went on their website and they said not to. So, I email them with questions about foliar feeding their additives and they said the main effects are in the roots but no harm to the flower. Going to add them to the reservoir and see what happens. I foliar feed snowstorm for a while and their is motiveless frost on the leaves so more then likely a the genetics of the 4AM were very receptive to the snowstorm. Anyways! In the home fucking stretch, front two don in probably two weeks, back two closer to week 13 👍🤤

This is very fucking rare monkey! The god damn sparkle is insane and I can’t get over the buds stacking together. I can’t wait to show the bud swell on them after they get chopped. I started putting pure water in the last two feedings and then I noticed how much more they had to ripen so they’re back on the feed for a bit. The girls in the back have a while to go but even the one I let the ph slip is insanely huge! These are some of biggest colas I’ve grown this year and really shows how the artisanal strains compare to the originals from Mephisto. Now it’s just a waiting game and sadly I was hoping for a Thanksgiving harvest but it looks like the end of the first week of December and maybe mid to end for the two in the back. After these four finish I’m goin Squanch hunting...😏

Closer and closer, the plants are doing great. The back two are starting to swell while the front ones are finishing up. The shear trichrome production on these fuckers is insane 🤤. Currently the only thing differently I am doing to the plants is starting to lower the moisture gradient in the pot by keeping the water level low (Hydro Reservoir holds 3 gallons). With a lower water level the grow media will also start to dry creating a lower moisture gradient causing the plants to believe it’s fall. Simulating drought to further increase resin and terpene production...so that’s been pretty fun. Plants drink about a gallon or more day so now the labor comes in so that I can maintain the hydro root zone but still get them starving towards the end. The smell is along the lines of sweet grape with a strong hashish smell. No idea when harvest will be. Front right has finally shown more darkening of the pistils while the front left is still full of white pistils. When the times comes to poach these guys there’s going to be some fat asses hung up for display! 😂

The wait is painful. The plants are so close and it’s maddening. I will start flushing the two in the front so hopefully 7-10 more days til chop. Left front is developing a beautiful purple hue as it ripens, which is just mouthwatering. All the plants are becoming shrouded in resin. The back right is by far the greasiest of the four while the one to the left has the most sweet grape smell. Even though the ph got a bit out of hand the buds are developing and she shows signs of being the biggest yielder. Like I said it is a very exciting but maddening week of care. Anticipation fills as I wake and rush to the tent in hopes of fully swollen buds. When will this angst be satiated? 7-10 days? With time more seamless then before I often wonder what a week or day even is now. Bahaha I’m boreeeeed of fucking waiting

Closer and closer we creep in to the harvest. Front two have been taken down and will be weighed within a week for dry weight. The size of these plants was absolutely insane. Baseball size nugs that are just dripping with frost. As soon as I moved them out the back right collapsed on itself. The shear size and length of the branches hanging to the size show you the potential of Mephisto Genetics! The plant on the front left had a beautiful purple hue and smelled of citrus pine with a very slight sweet undertone. The one to the right of it was more pungent to the point of leaving my nostrils stinging. It smelled of strong spice and had way more of a gas/hash smell to it. The quality of bud is amazing and I can not wait to see what kind of yield I get.

Closer we creep towards the end of of this grow. It has been an incredible experience and this strain is earning a special place in my heart. To have the problem of colas collapsing because of weight is truly beautiful. Really should invest in plant yo-yos. The smell of these two girls is sweet grape and looking at the right one topple over brings the image of grapevines. The two front girls were chopped and dried and weighed but I’m going to wait to post the weight of them for when these ones are harvested. I will say that these are the biggest yielders I’ve had stuff in a tent. There was one time I had a big Afghan Early Harvest from World of Seeds and that girl was a fucking brute. But that was one plant and each one of these have been their own respective monsters. I want to say the 4AM is my favorite strain to grow but my skin crawls with anticipation at the thought of growing Samsquanch and more of Mephisto’s larger strains. The Sour Crack was great but these monkeys are fucking bananas. Bahaha 🤣 soooooon it will be done!

Well I was hoping to finish this grow before the years end but I got one stubborn plant that likes to take its time. Will start to flush in 3-4 days, so 10 days of that then chop. 3 weeks out til total yield is calculated. The plant I harvested was insane. Stems didn’t strengthen because of lack of light penetration so the weight caused drooling. It was a beautiful sight to pull it out of the tent and have all the lateral growth collapse. All that was left was the main cola which became dwarfed compared to the lateral shoots. They also took on a more pinkish color so we will say she was a “Baboon” bahahah.

At long last the final plant has been harvested. Just grape perfume rolls off these beautiful buds. The colors she expressed were truly breathtaking, purple, magenta hues, and the size of her nugs are fucking intense. The other three plants are dried and weighed so now we’re just waiting for this girl and boooooooom! This yield is what I’ve been fucking dreaming of since I started growing. Feels like I’ve been chasing my tail and shitting in the river for sometime now just to fucking get here. I planted these monkeys because they were suppose to be quick but god damn this was one of my longest auto grows! Now to wait a week and close out this diary! 👍

Front two = 165 Back right = 97 Back left = 163 Total = 425 Well, I got to say that this was truly an impressive harvest. 14 weeks to harvest all the plants but holy fuck was it worth it. This last plant was a true monster and just came in and fucked shit up! Smells so fucking sweet but still got a nice tang to singe your nose hairs. Quality genetics and I believe I tapped into their full potential on this one. Love my octopots, really fucking shit up with them. Hydro on the bottom coco/peat on the top. 6gal filled to the bottom and we hauling trees. 4AM is still categorized by Mephisto under 60-65 days with a 60-90g yield....so yeah guess that was big fucking mislead haha. In a good way though!
