Ok had a proper nightmare situation last grow and had root rot. Totally my bad so been out and bout a cooler and I m plugging in root riot instead of rock wool. These little beauties should be in there plugs in a couple days then in to the grow ten. Happy growing all and be safe.
Start of week 2, all but one cracked and grew fine. 1 had a weird fit and shrivelled as it cracked. So outed it and got a spare gelat seed cracking as we speak.
Ok start of week 3. Had a setback with the back right last week I noticed it got all shrivelled and died. So spun up another see and it’s close to cracking out the surface. The other 3 are doing great no signs of any problems and the sprouting well. Keep safe all. 😁
Ok start of week 4 done my top today and cut away all the low lvl branches. Had to drop my Attis 300 to 80%, it’s so god dam powerful some of the leafs were showing it. Apart from that my ph keeps climbing I have drained the system coz I seemed to have a lot of silt on the bottom and I know that screws with the ph. Hopefully that sorts it. Happy growing all. Stay safe. ps, also the back right failed on both seeds i tryed to crack, too late now to try to get one going in it so this grow is 3 plants.
Ok start of week 5. Been having loads of grief with my ph climbing. I noticed a silt in the bottom of the reservoir so done a drain down and switched it over to ad sensi see if that we help keep my ph balanced.
Ok had the same problem I had down stairs the trunk seems to rot and the plant just ends up falling over and snapping. You can save them if you get to them early enough and spray with diluted silver bullet. But this one was to far gone and fell over and snapped. All I can say is I never had this problem till I switched from jiffy cubes. Only things I can figure is it’s ether an infected 3 inch cubes I got of Amazon or the little cubes I m using. But I have switched the little cubes from rock wall to root riot, ether way I m frustrated that in 2 different rooms I seem to be fighting this. Thank god for silver bullet.
Ok start of 2nd week of flower. This week has seen the girls grow well, the fan leafs are so dam big never seen anything like it. Totally crazy as you can see in the photo it’s bigger then my hand by a massive amount so I made the decision to do a big defoliation to allow more growth and more light down. Switched reservoir over to bloom phase so hopefully should see a nice stretch this week and next. Happy growing all be safe.
Ok start of week 3 of flower.... and then there was one.... had one this week go full on male..... on feminised seeds..... freaking wtf never had this happen will not be growing there stuff again proper not happy... last plant is female and is plodding along nicely. Happy growing all, be safe. 😊
Ok start of week 4 the last plant standing looks super happy and healthy and some lovely fat looking bud zones are starting to form. Fingers crossed it stays happy lmao. Happy growing all. 🍻
Start of week 5 all is going well with the plant, not so much with the rcdwc... I fucking hate this style of growing I m so done with it.. something is blocking the flow pipe so it isn’t circulating so I have pulled the pump out the middle pipe stuck it in the side and it’s now recirculating that way...... next grow I m going coco in drip system, so done with this shit. it’s so dam temperamental it’s beyond belief.
Ok start of week 6, last week of big bud. Next week the drain and refresh with overdrive instead. She is starting to smell freaking fantastic, real fruity sweet smell. She is bulking up nicely and no real complaints this week at all the dwc system still sucks ass I hate it so much.... it’s just so not for me. The middle pipe is super blocked so switched the pump to a side valve and it seems to be going ok. Fingers crossed she will last till the end. Be safe and happy growing all.
Start of week 7 all going along well. She starts overdrive this week so hopefully should see some fattening up in the next couple weeks. All happy considering all the crap this room been through lol. Happy growing all and stay safe.
Start of week 8 of flower. She is bulking up nicely and smelling strong. No real problems this week, the end is in site. Should be flush next week is enough trichnomes are milky or amber. So one last week to put some Xmas pounds on lol. Stay safe all and a happy new year. 🍻🎉🎉🎉
Ok start of week 9 all is looking fantastic and sticky and smells lush. She going on flush most the trichnomes are a lovely milky white so she is ready. Been a long hard grow with many challenges but I feel I grew as a grower (forgive the pun) have learned rcdwc is not for me so I m moving on to coco next grow. But will update next week with pics of her coming down. Stay safe all and happy growing.
Ok harvest time. She is looking fat and sticky, the buds are super heavy and covered in the frost white stuff we all love. She all cut down now so will update next week with the final dry weight. Happy growing all and stay safe.
@rastamouse this light is off the hook good to see u smashing it... quick question what line of newts u use on this grow the shogun line or the sensi line or did u mix them? Still finding my feet and was looking for ur input as u seem to have ur shit dialled in..... thanks in advance
@RastaMouse, really appreciate the reply and ur input, will have a look into advanced nutrients not 1 I have heard of as I am still green, hearing alot of positives about coco only negative is how consistently u have to be in the garden to water, im well impressed the light and for sure will be keeping a close eye on ur profile for future updates, im really liking everything I see and hear in regards to the lumatek range and feel is reasonably priced in comparison to the new optic range.

@Syrunz, tbh I use advanced nutrients now. I did use shogun but found better results from advanced nutrients so went back to them. I have also moved away from dwc to coco flood drain. Dwc just was not for me. The light was not cheap at 350 quid but tbh I got just over 6 oz from one plant so expecting big things this grow on strawberry pie. It has shown the lumatek 300w is a god dam beast and worth every penny. Check my strawberry pie out if you interested in seeing the lights results as I grow 4 in the same room with same light. Also my next grow once choc mint is down in there will be on the new lumatek 200w I just ordered. Can recommend these lights big time. And advanced nutrients.

I was feeding mine from week 1 to week four mouldy rootbooster my growth was slow. The only reason i noticed because i looked in bottle. As soon as i flushed and gave new rootbooster and feed they started growing again fast but a still there smaller then i wanted but im happy. Atleast you know your issue mine dragged on with no idea what was happening all my conditions were bang on
I hope you can sort this issue out when it comes to the roots as you know slows everything down
@RastaMouse,hopefully i feel your pain have had perfect runs for 2 years and then the last three runs in veg nothing but issues like everything hitting me at once. Always different issues but im glad now that my next lot should do much better. These will pull through silver bullet i clean my tent with every harvest sometimes inbetween vegging and flowering good stuff

May I ask was it set 300w or dimmed when the seedlings broke through the soil , I see it currently set at 60cm thereabouts but was that at full power or 20% 40% etc

@LegacyMarketFarm, god this was 2 years ago I don’t grow in Dwp any more. Had loads of problems.but I kept the water lvl about an inch to 2 inches below the basket if I remember. This was however a freaking strong smoke. Always planned to grow it again but in coco. Easyer media by far.
