Boy oh boy, here the second campaign inside the Ganjeon! What lurks inside of it is a 420Fastbuds combo with two Gelato Auto and two Purple Lemonade. Germination is been a nightmare, with two seedlings that popped their tap root upside down! My fault, bad seed positioning. I had to open the jiffy and reverse the seedling. And yet, all good! They took root just fine. But there is been a death too, a free seed of Cream Cookies. Always my fault, too soon under the light! Besides that, and a spidey seedling Gelato, is all good! Be aware, the feeding schedule of Week 1 is referred to the last feeding of the week with a little Bio Grow added to it. I usually follow the BioBizz feeding chart. For Orca, is my first time using it and im following a light feeding schedule for it (one feed on its first week).

So far so good, vegetative is progressing without major issues, if not the first leaves on one Gelato suddenly turned yellow, but didn't progress further. Transplanted into their final fabric pot, is so hard to get the watering right at this stage. Please note I'm following Biobizz feeding chart for week 2 but I keep add Grow Juice until vegetative is over.

They're taking off, veg should be close to finish and I'm glad they didn't already! I can tell i'll probably have space issues. The first lemonade on the left is pale, for some calmag deficiency, i've added calmag too late but nothing serious. Purple lemonade took LST like a champ! One gelato too, but the other one is growing so well and bushy without it that i might not apply it at all.

As you can see I've a humidity issue, is so rainy these days i can't make it go down 70%, it starts to make me worry, but all looks good! The nutes up here are the very last feed, where i've pushed things a little and made some personal adjustment to the feeding regime. UPDATE: It seems I'm a bit over with watering, maybe the high hr is to blame too, anyway, i'll reduce the amount for the next feed. Damn, these girls are big! An amazing growth this week, I'll have to lift the shorter gelatos to not have them too away from the light. The trained gelato is so bushy i had to slightly defoliate her, the untrained on the right, which is also 4 day younger, seems to doing even better on her own. Maybe Gelato Auto has no need at all for LST, but only time will tell. I hope so, so much to have a purple pheno on the purple lemonades. Soooo much.

Cursed week, full of problems and bad luck. The less damaging is been my EC pen that is now broken (but it was mostly to add more data here). First, i made a total mess with watering, way too much. To have that lemonade to show thirst is been five days, i think is too much even she is doing well and is a purple pheno! At least one good news. My greatest worry is the Gelato on rhe left, she is not flowering at all, not even showing the sex and this is so weird, because her younger twin is already on track and they share everything (i am still on a veg feed schedule on her, i hope she flowers this week). Plus i took poor pics. Really a bad, bad week, and no sign of local hr to go down, not even a bit.

She is not flowering, not even showing the sex. Her twin, 4 days younger, is launched into flowering. Can happen she is this late? Is been 35 days, the very limit on the strain info and it starts to make me worry with my time schedule.

There is some volatility in autoflowers -- e.g. an "XL" version came from somewhere, maybe your plant is one of those genetic lotery winners without being selected for the trait. Another possibility is that it is actually a photoperiod plant. If you see absolutely no hint of flowering, this may be the case. If set up to handle it, go ahead and give it 12hours darkness for a couple weeks... if not, give it another week or 2 and see what happens... if still vege it's getting way more likely to be a photoperiod. Can prune it back if doubling in size from that point is a problem. lol, make sure to prune it back if it is a photo, because you got another ~9 weeks from 12-12.

First thing first: I'm trying to jump start flowering in the Gelato missing in the pictures. Day five under 12/12 still no sign of sex. UPDATE: Maybe, maaaaaaybe is starting... if is not this week probably i'll give up. Second: one emergency HST early this week and more today on the purple purple. My fault to not have done a proper LST but only a light one. She would be around 130cm now. On the other hand, the green purple i doing amazing and stopped at just the right height. Also, had some nute burn and lower the nutes a bit but nothing serious. Still fighting to reach a perfect watering schedule, that's why the data is missing.

The buds are growing! Despite the good filter these girls stinks! Some deficiencies as you can see above, I think I've mistaken light burn for feed burn and then given too much little nutes. Those listed is just the yesterday feed so I'm still fixing it. Aaaaand an insane RH, can't do anything for that but prey that mold do not show up. Nope, the never bloomed Gelato is showing the sex only now, way too late... so sad. I should plant some OG Kush to feel better (my next diary).

Start to see the light at the end! First time trying my microscope usb, far better for my eyes in front of my old jewlery loop. The Gelato main bud is obviously closer to my maturity goal, but I'll use the mid buds as reference (not on the purple purples, she has a very good horizontal grow after my HST). Still high RH but a bit better. Reached full force nutes and they do drink more, 3L on a four days cycle. I killed the other Gelato which i'm almost postivie it was a photoperiodic, she didn't developed any more when I put her back to 18h light regime. Too bad, that's not something you want to see in an all autoflower grow tent.

Took some photos for the Christmast contest! I changed my nickname, I've started on GrowDiaries just to post one question, but it hooked me. Now I need a better brand: Big Beautiful Weed. Just perfect. It's Bud Porn time! New phone, as you can notice, with better camera and allows to use the microscope. So much better! I took a million pictures. Startedtoday, flush at day 60. Probably I should have start to flush the Gelato a bit earlier, is already showing some amber. [UPDATE: No! And is been a mistake realized in week 10, I started flushing too early, still two weeks to go at best from this week 9] Maybe less then a week before I chop her. It will be couchlock, if I have to guess, and is what I was looking for. Overall, and besides the photoperiodic Gelato I had to kill, I'm veeery happy of how is turning out. The colour from Outer Space, that's it. OG Kush Auto in my germination space denands more light, and her diary!

I think I've talk too soon about harvesting the Gelato. I've to ask the community again about how these trichomes looks like, I don't want to finish too soon! Flushing in progress with just ph corrected water. Update D67: I got it wrong with flushing - again, for lack of patience and the hope that they would have been there when I want them to... and yet I did know this is not how it works - and started it way too soon! Now I've to administer nutes again or I'll not be able to reach the point I wanted to. The last steps are so hard! But at least now I can check thricomes and asked opinions I've understand that before chopping them down. With Biobizz nutes two weeks of flush are too much in my opinion, I'll try to not flush at all next time and see the difference, I still have to check the flush/not flush matter by myself.

Looking for trichs opinions: these pictures are from yesterday, Day 66. Could be a good time for harvest the purple lemonade? The other one, Gelato Auto, is rapidly showing ambers and makes me think to harvest her too. But of course I don't want to harvest too soon!

Tbh, i would wait at least for day 75, so another week. If you wait untill you are at least at 5% ambers you can be sure that more clear cristals will be turning milky and overall potency will be stronger. Got some beautifull purples there btw. If u wanna harvest now u can do it, but your trading some serious yield for time, and you can ve sure its gonna be a head high if you harvest now, give it 1/2 weeks if u want a more mixed high, body and head, and about 3 weeks or+ if you want a full sedative high. I'm trying to keep it short but i think i got the point across to u.

D71 :First day of week 11. With the exception of the Purple purple, I gave the girls another shot of nutes so I sign them because this means I've interrupted the flushing, but could be the last one. Since I'm full organic and at least a couple of feeds are left I hope that will not affect too much. I should have cut on the bio grow tho, could have too much N but what is done is done. The look of the Purple purple concern me even if i know a fast yellowing is normal at this point. I've to interrogate the community. Day 72: uploaded trichomes pictures of yesterday (D72) of the Pink purple. I thought she was a green pheno, but on the most light exposed buds she developed a wonderful charming pink! And I missed to check her trichomes sooner because she is very hard to reach, and I assumed she was at the same point of the Purple purple. What a stpid assumption! But I'm happy she got the most amber % so far.

Looking at my last pictures, I see the Purple yellowing very fast but, on the trichs pictures, you can't see any amber on her yet. I was planning a few more days before harvest that purple, but could that damage the buds? If it so I would harvest. What would you do? Many thanks!

Don't fret! Your plant is in great condition. Cannabis color can fade towards the end of its lifecycle. This is a great indication that your plant is using up all if its extra nutrients stored in the leaves as it nears the end of its life. Trichomes on the Sugar leaves will be the first to turn Amber. However, the process is not as "clear" (pun intended) as previously thought. Research shows that cannabinoid biosynthesis is still occurring faster in light amber trichomes than THC is degrading into THC. This means only when trichomes turn a solid dark amber does THC start converting quickly to CBN. In short, you want to limit the amount of clear you are seeing, and maximize the number of solid white/light amber trichs. The percentage will differ among cultivars, but to answer your question, I would not worry about letting these go at least another week, possibly more. You take brilliant photos of your trichomes, try to focus on the buds and don't worry if some sugar leaves are dominantly amber trichomes. If you want more information on the most updated info, this article and specifically Dr. Photons reply should shed some light on an otherwise *unclear* topic.https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/community/main-forum/when-to-harvest/

Thank you to all the community for the help and answers to my question. They did great, I gave more days to the Gelato, which is now drying. I've harvest the two Purple lemonades on day 75 and day 77. They could have used more tiem but I needed space.

The final days of my Gelato Auto harvested on Day 81 from seed with a strong 20-30% amber on her. She is by far the most big and beautiful I've ever seen! And she is completely untrained, amazing!

Done! Amazing Yeld without any training, this girl was the BEST and is already one of my favourites. Seriously, it's great, I would give her 10/10 if not that one of my two turned out photoperiodic. I'll grow her again for sure.
