This is week 4 day 3 from planting seedling , I've basically grew these plants horizontally for the frist 4 weeks now I've aloud the main colas to start growing up as I don't want anything over hanging off the side of the bucket, these are in 12.5 litre pots and are currently about 9 inches sideways to main colas . Each plant now has somewhat around 6 mail colas each in the making hopefully all goes well and I can maintain the growing to cover all areas in the bucket by week 7 and raise the height another 7 plus inch now only time will tell as we hit rapid growth on these three girls which have about 1.5square meter in space and a 600w hps so we should be growing nice fat dense colas and nutrients and ph also light height all seems to be in perfect growing conditions for plants as they look really healthy as this is a completely based on a starter budget grow currently costing 230£ GBPall in so far and 20£GBP a week electric all in this grow will cost including electric 600£ GBPmaximum where asking prices for the sweet flower are 280£ 28grams so anything over 3 Ozs and this grow will be successful and a Christmas cure and harvest will make this grow worth every penny as prices can inflate the prices at this time of year ... hopefully we get 60 grams per plant dry weight
Start of week 5 plants are now five weeks old today , how do you think there looking people as this is a budget frist grow standing at around 230£ sterling plus electric , everything including seeds growing equipment ect even down to a new ph meter and nutrient soil plastic mylar 600w hps light 3 fans , plus led light all under 230£ that include the @sweet seeds crystal candy Xl auto seeds
Hi just a general question as do my girls look healthy and at the right stage , two are 5 weeks today the bigger of the 3 and one is a week behind , 7" 10.5" and 11" inches
Actually, it is my first grow too. My children are in their 3rd week. As I see them everyday I think that your plants are in good condition.

Do you use any nutrition?
I use Micro/Grow/Bloon from Advanced Nutrition.
I red that the best harvest size for this strain is 450-600 gr/m2

Could anyone give me correct info on autoflowerjng lighting, can I use 24hour light but every now and again give them some darkness for a few hours break then hit them 24 hours again , basically is it okay to chop and change lighting for autos
You can experiment if you really want. I've heard of people doing 24/8 schedules and 20/6... I went with 18/6 and that worked out very well.
I think the most important thing is to keep a schedule. Don't give them 24/0 and randomly decide to shut the lights off for 8 hours.
I've heard of people starting at 20 hours and doing something like giving them 10 minutes of extra darkness every day until the plants finish or you hit 12/12.
Point is: find out what works best for you and don't be afraid to experiment.
Can you leave harvest on autos untill 12 weeks or do you need to harvest when it's time too my autos are a different stages but would like harvest all at 12 weeks mark for a bigger harvest
Hi this week has went amazing for one of the crstal candy the other two are growing great also in the flowering and starting to see small buds appearing so give them there 3rd trim in two weeks 24 hours and there going strong again as they have done a fair amount of growing in terms of leaves and flowering site's where being covered by foliage, I pleased to say I've 14 more seeds in the post all @Sweet seeds apart from a free seed so I'm planning on planting another 6 plants all different seeds from there auto mix 10 pack 3 free crystal candy xl autos and a free seed so plenty of more dairys coming over the Christmas period as these are all autos I'm saying between 10 and 13 weeks from now well have a fair harvest under the hybrid lighting led 45 what full spec and 600 hps, also have a heater on the way so I can changed lighting too 20 on 4 off to give plant a break but not cause shock due to dramatic temperature changes ...
This is my budget grow in total I've added 105£ onto the 230£ for 18 seeds and everything I've needed for growing , electric is 20£ per week include fans also . All nutrients soil lights fans of meter mylar sheeting staple gun all in a descret grow room , this is also a first time grow so I think autos are easy but I've seen how easy it can be to stun growth and make mistake which plants can either die from or suffer from never mind the chance of invasion from insects... 335£ total spend 18 seeds . 3 flowering 6 about to be potted this time in fabric pots and 8 seeds to go ... let the Sweet Seeds adventures begin
All 6 new Sweet Seeds will be of all different variety I will be adding a crystal candy to this mix as I see this as an amazing auto as I didn't have a clue and these plants haven't failed me so I will be doing this one in much better conditions so I'm aiming for a better plant than these candys
Just a general question as to my plants look okay I took some leaves off today to open them up when flowering takes full effect just didn't want to take to much off there 6 weeks today from germination. This is my frist ever grow in a homemade grow room
Autoflowers are a bit of a wildcard sometimes, so as long as it is happy and healthy, it's as good as it can be. let soil dry a bit between irrigations, fertilize as needed... plants do all the work.
Hey do my plants look good for 6 weeks and 2 days, there between 13 and 15 inch tall and descent growth in 3 gallon pots flowered on time and each has been slightly stunned and also overwatered a bit so just hope there on track , also tried training the plant Mabey stunned also
Looks good. LST slows it down a bit but I wouldnt worry. It picks back up. Since your in flower I wouldnt mess with it much more since its an auto. Dont pull leaves in flower, dont LST anymore. It has a large negative impact in overall growth in autos.
Thanks guys there looking amazing today and also there really starting to shoot up about a CM each day but considering I stunned there growth there going good and now giving off quite a strong smell when the fans are off it really starts to give off a really strong smell . Each plant is a few days behide the last one . And proud to say I think I got the hang off watering okay now
Okay my candys I've noticed are drinking a lot more water and u expected the 3 candys pots have dried out thoe I have watered with run off just to make sure I can see how much there actually taking per 24 hours ... leaves have curled upwards with very minor roll . Will they be ok
The ridges on the leaves are curling up because its either too dry in your tent or they are being underwatered, try turning down your exhaust fan or dehumidifier at this stage your RH should be around 40/55% but they still look perfectly healthy and the flowers are growing well 🌱👍
Plants have done well this week going into the flowering process and about to see some buds stacking very soon , I've the 3 candys growing each at different stages due to human error ... These plants do very well suited for beginners growers . The beginner being me and the errors also ... now I'm a frist time growers on a budget grow in not the best conditions but steady conditions now ... Also 6 new @sweet_seeds either germinating or already have the first fan leaves growing 5 sweet seeds made it so far also there a BCN CRITICAL XXL AUTO in the grow room also , thoe this seed was very poor in germination 3 days above soil and looks unhealthy to say the least thoe the rest are all okay while germinating.. can't wait to see how the room looks in 8 or 9 weeks from now .

Anyone able to give me a sensible answer to how much to water my auto week 6 day 6 17 inch in 12.5 it pot it's showing signs of under watering I have it 1.75lt 24 hours ago and it's dry again thoe don't want to over water either
Is say just up your next dose so maybe 2ltrs see how she goes. If she's still drinking fast up it again.
As she starts to flower she will get thirstier.

Next time I would use a fabric pot for that plant as well... I've completely stopped measuring exact water amounts or planning for a certain day.. with the fabric pots it's really hard to overwater.... You can tell when it's completely saturated from weight and feel... Then you also know when it's empty because it's light as a feather.. I've had no issues since using these

I will list some points that not only challenge the absurd impracticality and illogicality of this myth, but point out how the pseudoscience behind it is fundamentally flawed (as is all pseudoscience) and can be countered by what is known about basic plant biology.
1. Robbing plants of essential nutrients at any stage of their life cycle is NOT beneficial for growth. I challenge anyone to provide a single peer reviewed paper from a reputable journal that provides evidence suggesting otherwise.
2. If this was practical, wouldn’t you expect all big agricultural hydroponic growers adopt the same practice?
3. Plants take minerals into their tissues, from their roots via the treachery elements; i.e. xylem. Once these minerals are in the plant, they are there to stay, the plant does not expel them, unless it’s through senescence-driven abscission of leaf petioles. From the treachery elements nutrients are translocated into the phloem - the plant’s ‘blood supply’ - after being integrated into various biomolecules, or are used for various metabolic functions. Where is the logic in thinking the plant ‘uses’ these up in that last week of flushing, in order to avoid smoking them? All the N P K Fe Mg Ca etc. is still there.
4. For arguments sake say we counter the last point by suggesting these minerals in their ‘raw form’ will taste ‘hasher’ or ‘nastier’ in the form of pyrolytic breakdown products (formed when weed is burned) than artifacts of larger biomolecules of which these minerals/macro nutrients are now a part of, for example phosphorylated PO43-. Even if this was the case it still doesn’t correlate with the myth, as the transports steam in the treachery elements is measured in minutes not a week. i.e. a PO43- molecule does not wait around in these vessels for a week before subsequent translocation and modification.
5. If there was any truth to this myth, then plants grown in soil would always taste worse than plants grown in hydro. Why? Because obviously soil is not an inert medium you can flush for a week. And a plant CANNOT distinguish between a PO43- molecule that comes from soil from that of a PO43- molecule that comes from hydro solution (which also debunks another myth, but we’ll leave that one).
6. Are there studies that have conducted double blind trials to investigate if flushed weed tastes any ‘sweeter’ than unflushed weed. Again, need peer reviewed papers. And doesn’t have to be weed, can be strawberries or any other type of fruit.
7. What is the proposed mechanism to support this myth, and how is it consistent with fundamental plant biology.
8. How does starving the plant of food in the last week increase thc production in the trichome? Papers?
9. Given, under certain conditions stressed plants upregulate certain defence compounds, but they will almost certainly produce less inflorescence weight per watt of light. Growth is always retarded under stress - not promoted. Nutrient starvation is a form of stress. Looking for peer reviewed papers that suggest otherwise.
Those of you set in your ways, each to their own and best of luck to you. Those who are willing to change their views in light of new evidence, or lack thereof, be ready for increased yields by feeding those hungry ladies right up until the second you chop.
Week 8 of to a great start as the buds start to gain size and structure 2 all 3 candys are doing well and 5 outta 6 new Sweet seeds are above soil and doing really well
Anyone comment on how long you think harvest might be
Defoliation is highlighted because any day between now and harvest I will be taking all most fan leaves blocking all bud site's also all popcorn buds will be removed in hope I'll drive more energy to the top buds

Resin is stacking on the bud site and also sugar and some fan leaves looks amazing can't wait to see the buds stacked
Things have been great and the girls are getting thirsty , easy to manage , under 24 hour light and very good going plant not many real signs of light stress just some heat stress due to the heat of the 600w hps just over the canopay

I think I've done a good job with these girls as they only hit week 9 and have desent sized buds already on this frist lady the other 1 is a week behind and the 3rd on 2 weeks behide the frist plant ...
So starting week 9 pretty close to harvest now but not to rush just now where gonna try a 10 day flush thoe not until somwhere late week 10 the other 2 will be left until between 12 and 14 weeks depending on how plants ripen ,
Update week 9 day 1 .
Only left the girls 12 hours and the bud site's have increased in size just about enough to be noticeable, thoe it does this every 12 hours until she's cut there's gonna be some good buds
Remove leaves if they are blocking airflow or budsites, otherwise may as well leave them. The leaves are your solar panels and the more green on show to the light, the more nutrients your roots can take in. If this is an auto be careful about only defoliating what you must. Also, any remaining leaves will get consumed by the plant when you start your flush. They will start to yellow from the bottom upwards and maybe even drop off but this is fine and normal. The plant does this because there is no feed available left in the soil and it will use up what it has inside it's leaves to compensate - this can mean bigger yields.
Remember, airflow and light penetration are your goals, beyond that, leave the leaves on there!

if you give a 2 weeks flush the plant will use up all the fan leaves saving you time and the plant stress check my current diary it looks like fall in there lol
Help please, got a P defeniece 2 weeks away from harvest , should I keep giving nutes or am I safe to flush I'm still giving nutes as bottle says thoe did cut back so corrected the problem just not sure about flushing

i think you need a slightly diluted mix of what you are giving... likely a bit too much N like you said. P-deficiency usually shows some blue in leaves. You don't nee dmuch P.. 50-60ppm is all it needs. More will not 'boost' anything. Plants have a metabolism... all about a happy medium, not min/max strategies very often with nutes.
guaranteed analysis labels can be used to calculate PPMs of the various nutrients you provide. you are in soil, so you have to consider what the soil contains too... if not super soil or living soil, you are most likeyl providing nearly all the nutes when you fertilize this late into a grow.
you can reference these PPMs and have a good idea of how to change your fertilizer mix.
N 120-130
P 50-60
K 180-200
These will be impacted by your tap water and may be different:
Ca 90-120?
Mg 80-100?
S 90-110?
Mine are posted each week in any diary. I have fairly hard tap water of 250-300ppm. So, i likely provide some unaccounted for Ca/Mg/S. Consider these ballparks, and more so with the secondary nutes. Your soil should have the trace elements present. Tap water helps with this too.
if any of these are too high, you have to consider lockout. I'd stick to your normal wet-dry cycle and merely change your formula slightly. Keep as many factors the same so your intentional change is impactful and precise.
Okay plants are returning to a pale shade of green but still have lots of rust marks on leaves but 2 or 3 weeks away from harvest will the plants survive okay

Hi friend, Yes , You can start giving plain water.But always adjust your water pH around 6.5 whenever you water.As I answer before, these deficiencies will not have serious impact on your final yield.All you need to do is focus on temp, humidity and water pH until harvest.Flushing or not flushing is your choice.Happy growing.. ✌️
MY NIGHTMARE WEEK
Okay so had a really bad week with the girls ended up over using on nutes I believe
Any advice on how to maintain the girls to harvest I think I've got the problem sorted for now but anything else my girls are not gonna pull threw
The frist girl will be getting cut day 68 which is today
2nd plant needs another week to 10 days the 3rd will need 13 weeks at the minimum but if she makes it another couple of week shell be the one to weight in the most as it vegged a lot longer than the rest... these plants are amazing @Sweet_Seeds Crystal candy xl auto are outstanding for beginners yeild will still be pretty good even if you suffer setback with little knowledge I've managed to get one girl to harvest and she looks amazing, no other words for it the amount of resin , the smells and how dense the buds are very very frim and quite a lot of buds are the size of my Palm of my hand ... needed a lot of PK coming up to the end I went by the GHE tri part nutes bottle also vitalink buddy with P K also by the bottle

So I've the two and a half plant of candy left I quick dried a bit and I must say it's not bad, not much hay smell still some stink cheese smells also wonder how the cured bit will come alone
New photo for week 12 so these plant have only turned 12 weeks old not to confuse anyone they still have a full week to complete week 12
Girls are still pulling through the half plant got her last watering there still a few weeks on the last girl the second Mabey still another week Mabey few days longer for the bottom half thoe looks like they will survive untill harvest

Their candy is putting on size at a really good rate and leaves are turning yellow id say another 10 days and she will be done Mabey even longer I hope get the bigger buds considering this plant had a longer veg and stretch.
Amazing plant really dense buds even low I had set backs all round these plants didn't stop they still produce 79 grams saving me about 400% on my weed bill as prices where I am are about 30€ per 1.7 grams or 25£ or 40$ something like that each plant has cost me about 80£ 100€ 140$
I'm amazed at these plants they done fantastic regardless of starting environment and also over watered for about 2 weeks then underwatered also while vegging gave them non PH water thankfully no downsides only some slow growth for a day or two... while flowering I have a N toxicity and P defenices which damaged about 40% off all 3 plants main fan leaves and left large portions with minor damage or very minor thoe through all this the plant still achieved a yeild of 79 grams dry bud was amazed not to say the least at this amazing result
Both are nearly ready one about another week at least the other any day the tricomes tell me it's time to chop her up that will be it for the second girl if anything like the frist there at least 1.5 Oz on this on the last girl might yeild up to 3 Oz as she's the biggest by far longer veg time and bottom beaches are taller in comparison to the others which leaves me to estimate the higher yeild.
This week the second girl comes down week 14 will be the last girl .

The second candy to come down at 249 nearly identical to the other girl and I though this one would weight less thoe her buds are massive also just one more girl to come down now wiĺl do a full report when ready
She dryed 71.8grams and off too cure in jars with Bolivia 2 way hudmity pack 62% to protect the smoke , still one plant left and it's looking like all 3 will yeild the 70 grams per plant at 18 inch tall is like to know is this a good yeild
What's my take from the candys - really amazing buds and plant growing recovery time and resilience was all amazing in it's own right
Check out grow dairy I'd a frist time grow going in with little knowledge on how to grow and what to expect so I did make 2 candys to harvest and the other could come down any minute just waiting on the bottom finishing off

Harvest time once she drys out her pit that's the last candy on week 14 that the last girl done so without any problems I'd say you would need to give the crstal candys between 10 and 12 weeks from germanation
Look out for full harvest updates as this one is more of a woody earthy smell than the last time where like cheese
Dried wet for the third candy wad 105 grams now it's off to cure this smell quite earthy and woody atm while the other girls now have a very sweet smell coming from it while it cures... 205 grams from 3 plants ... a lot more than I was expecting will give further updates when ready
Very sweet aroma starting to come through even at start of curing this plant smells great already the last plants are really sweet with a very strong stone , leaves you quite stoned and sleep no matter what time of day
Amazing smoke in the end , at the very end of flowering there was a very strong earthy smell and woody times.havr turned to a sweet Carmel sweet tropical smells from her very different than most smoke I've had recently.

Smoke structure was compact dried on a net though buds are rock hard and are a great size above 10 grams on some main flowers
