What looked like a slight nutrient burn last week turned out to be the beginning of a phosphorous deficiency. After several heavy feeds in a row I watered twice with plain water last week to make sure all the excess nitrogen was flushed through..it looks like these girls are such heavy feeders that even a three days without nutrients was too much! This week I started back on heavy feedings and the ladies rebounded in less than a day. One of the stretchy phenos is an early developer. I checked the trichomes (see pic above) and I'm seeing a bunch of cloudy trichs already. On the other hand I've got two girls just entering week two of flower. It looks like from here on out I'm going to have to go with three different feeding schedules to keep up with the variations in grow time. From what I can tell about the ILGM Wedding Cake genetics, they're not very stable in plant structure or flowering time. I'm really hoping the quality of smoke is consistent but I'm having some doubts based on the amount of variance I've seen already. I'm not sure if this is common with auto flowers or not, but it is a bit frustrating. I wanted to experiment with autoflowers so I'm glad I did the grow, but I will be going back to photoperiod seed after this grow. Temps and humidity have been a bit of a challenge to regulate lately. My house does not have a humidifier and with the heat on at night I've been experiencing some major fluctuations. Luckily the humidity has not dipped below 30% which is ideal for the two ladies in late flower, however it's a bit low for the slow flowering ladies. To compensate I've been leaving the humidity control at 40% to split the difference. The heat hasn't been too much of an issue so far with the CO2 I have in the tent. The only real issue I see from the temps is the inability to drop them into the 50's in late flowering with how it is now. I'm looking into buying an AC infinity fan which will control both temps and humidity during lights off, without me having to constantly refill the water tank or open half the windows in my house. Update: Just installed 2 new King 2000w and these things are BRIGHT!! Light is penetrating way below the canopy. I can see the reflection from the perlite in the light, they're so bright. The ladies are loving them so far. Can't wait to see how this harvest turns out. I'll be moving the 1500w king and 1000w mars hydro to a new veg tent. I will be starting a gelato grow in the next week with one cannatonic seed being grown as well.

Years ago when I looked into autos I saw a lot of people complain about some seeds not being stable and producing regular photoperiod seeds. One of my plants is still not showing any signs of preflower while the others are 2 weeks in flower. Could this be a regular seed?

Hi. I recently started growing autos after years of growing just regular seeds from my current experiences by week 5 or 6 if it hasn't started showing signs there is a chance its regular. I had autos that were late to start so may just be too early for this one yet. Give her a bit longer before making a decision. If it does end up being regular you'll want to 12/12 it(im sure you knew that ). Hopefully this helps.
