What a liberating week!
I've always debated...and wanted to put my plants right in the middle of the garden, but always worried it might be too visible....piss off the neighbors or get stolen close to harvest. However, my plant needed more sunlight hours and I figured with the peach trees, sunflowers, tomatoes, etc etc it isn't but one more green and growing thing to most passers-by. However very smelly...more and more everyday.
Almost immediately after being moved you can just tell the plant is so much happier. They only that it needed was to start supporting the branches with a cage of green stakes and crossbeams to keep all the branches upright. Unfortunately during her move across the yard my mom managed to break one of the bigger branches, for some reason whenever she comes over and attempts to help...something goes wrong. So i taped that branch up and made sure it had extra support.
Now if only all the unpleasant smoke from the wildfires would stop and we'd be perfect!
She's still doing incredible without being ph'ed, and receiving a moderate regimen of @greenbuzzliquids . I've tried to run her nutrients fairly low as I'm curious how much a plant really needs and what's just excess and wasted money.
Her flowers continue to develop beautifully and I'm really excited to see any possible color changes over the next several weeks.
Happy growing everyone. ✌️
"Happy summer to all in the western hemisphere"
bruh... that's not how seasons work 🤦♂️
also. a ph of 8 will be terrible for you. at first you won't have a problem but after a couple weeks - you'll see.
I know many ppl are strapped for cash right now (myself included) but with just 15$ you can resolve this and get peace of mind. Get a PH- that will last you ages AND a PH test kit with drops. those things IMO are better than having a PH pen and you can get over 500 tests out of one. Once u get the hang of it you will only be doing tests like once a week so you see how long it will last you. I think u really should consider.
if you want DM me and I'll show you the ones I mean. get both products delivered to your door in 48 hours.
best of luck to you growmie. Wishing u a successful grow and bountiful harvest
@DaSofaSurfer, I definitely agree with you that more often than not, when I don't ph it goes a little wonky.
And a secret between us... there's a couple weeks coming up where things get a little questionable, but I'm not sure if its because of underwatering(chronic drought, i was so busy for several weeks), outgrown container and the roots bound up, lack of extra nutrients because I only feed once a week, or because of ph.
When i checked the initial startup ph it was showing 6.6 and my area usually has the 2 different phs, springtime and fall. Fall usually spikes up to about 7.7-8.3
@Treighfunky, thanks tre. You should see the finish! Holy crap she got so purply red with the cold temps. I'm cutting her today before it freezes tonight.
@Treighfunky, thanks Treigh, this one has definitely turned out to be beautiful and strong. I've gotten lucky with a few good, unique and beautiful plants this year. 2020Garden good...2020year not so good. Lol
