Lemon Shining Silver Haze

So I'm getting ready for another grow. The plan is to have 2 auto's (check my other diary) in the growtent finish just before these lemony beauties move from the veg tent to the grow tent. And since I couldn't wait to plant these feminized seeds - only had auto's before - and the auto's should still have 8 weeks left in them, we're aming for a 8-10 week veg periode. Hopefully enough time to mainline these while keeping em very short. For now I'm just using airated water till day 7 when the plants Will be getting some root stimulant. Stay tuned for a slow first few weeks. :)

Nothing special in week 2, plants are doing fine, just getting water PH 6.5-6.7. No issues so far. Peace Pangrow

Week 3 was a good week, the girls are growing fast with the first branches starting to show. Day 21 and six nodes far it was time for step one in main-lining, topping and removing lower growth. Greetz Pangrow

Week 4 is about bouncing back from the topping on day 21. First few days where a bit slow, but still they reacted well. Started LST to keep em nice and level. One is doing a bit better then the other, it's always been a day or so ahead, and it's even more clear after the topping, I should have waited a day longer for the smaller plant. So I'm keeping a few more leaves on the smaller plant for it to catch up. Peace Pangrow

What lovely girls, aren't they? Added just a splash off veg nutrients to the water once, as a treat. Still keeping more leaves on the smaller plant for it to catch up, did remove all lower growth tips though. Adjusted my LST ties a few times, love the air pots for the many mounting positions. Day 32 and 34 are topping days, and I'm glad I didn't do it on the same day, both responded well. 4 tops so far! Peace Pangrow

Week 6 allready 🤔 time flies when you're having fun, and I have growing these beauties. The plants are recovering well from the previous toppings. Using some soft garden wire to spread out the tops. Nearly snapped of a branch at the base doing LST, guess I didn't massage the branch enough before I started bending. Luckily I noticed it and held the branches together with some more garden wire. The last day of week 6 was the last topping for plant 1, gonna stick with 8 mains. On to the next week! Happy Growing Pangrow

In the start of week 7 the second plant was topped for 8 as well, adjusting plant wires when needed to keep em low and spread. These babies are vegging in a 90 cm / 3 ft tent and will be moved before flower to a Gorilla Shorty (170cm / 5.6 ft). The plants are still only getting plain aerated water, watering every 2-3 days, seeing some more flies time for action and dry out the top soil. Ordered some neem oil as well. The rest of week 7 is recovery time, getting ready to transplant in week 8. Greetz Pangrow

Transplant week! I was really excited to move these babies over to the "big" tent. They're going from 13L airpots to 38L 😲 airpots. Yeah it's kinda big, but really wanted to try out the big pots. 😁 Also first time I'm using a trellis, normally you just jam it in the ground but thanks to the airpots I could easily attach it to the sides using some straps, which helped the stability alot. Another nice thing about these trellis is that I don't need a high cfm kit from Gorilla (try bying that when you don't live in the USA or UK 😠) Roots are looking fine, nicely spread and white. After transplanting one plant was just touching the trellis and the other was about 5cm / 2" below it. I did notice that the branche which I nearly broke was slightly smaller then the others, I used soft garden wire at the base of the branch and so the "bulge" was not able to expand properly. But I got a good tip, use teflon tape, you know which they use in watertight connections. Ofcourse use the tape version, not the wire version, cause that will cut into the plant. Teflon doesn't stick to the branch like ducttape does, it only sticks on itself, and teflon can expand unlike garden wire 😑. After transplant they got some neem oil, it stinks, but does it's job in protecting the plants and removing bugs. I'm moving the plants from 100W t5 cfl to 300W led, so I dimmed the light for the first day to 50%, steadily raising it everyday by 10%, lights are at 60cm, adjusting every week. And last but not least, my growcam is finally up and running again, so enjoy the pictures and watch those babies grow! Greetz Pangrow

Well here we are for the last week of veg, the plants are growing fast, responding well to some tucking and rearranging of the tops. Seeing how the canope looks now I think I won't lollipop the plants, but let's see how the canope looks in a week or 2. I did start with some light feeding of Biocanna Bio Vega twice a week. Floooower stage! First time I "flipped the switch" to 12/12 and it does feel nice when you see the plants shooting up, filling up the growth space in just a week. I'm upping the feeds of Bio Vega to every other watering, while keeping the lights at ~60cm/24". I like how one plant has the big tops growing in a circle on the outside with the smaller branches filling up the empty space in the middle 🤩 Next time I adjust the height of the lights they'll disappear from cameraview, only lushes green view from then on 😛 Happy Growing and best whishes for 2021! We're at the end of week 2 of flower and the plants are still doing great! Feeding Biocanna Vega every other day except for the last two days of this week. It looks like the stretch is almost over so I'm switching to bloom nutrients next week. Ooh I can allready imagine the buds 😝 Greetz Pangrow

Here we are at the end of week 3 of flower, and everything is still going to plan! I'm watering the plants every day, with every 3 days nutrients from Biocanna. Since the new growth is getting light green I'm gonna stick to feeding nutrients every other day. I'm only feeding the plant on the right BioBOOST, the plant on the left is getting Sensation Green but I'm delaying that for a week. And when I'm comparing the bud sites from both plants I do have to say that the plant on the right has bigger and more shiny tops, is it the booster or just another pheno, who knows? 😲 I wish I'd removed some more branches before I flipped to flower (it wasn't in the guide 😁), there are quite some lower bud sites which aren't getting enough light. And I don't feel like removing 'em all, I did remove all bud sites below the net though. Did some defoliation too this week, nothing to harsh, in the future weeks I'm just gonna pick the odd leaf here and there to keep the bud sites open. Keep on growing! Pangrow

Another week has gone by, almost halfway flower stage. Still watering 2L to each plant every day, with nutrients every other day. Plant on the right is getting bio flores and bio boost, plant on the left is getting bio flores and green sensation. I noticed the uprise of the flies so I gave the plants a healty dose of neemoil halfway this week. The lovely smell is getting stronger every day 👌 Greetz Pangrow

Week 14, everything still going to plan. The difference between the 2 plants is becoming more clear, I won't be harvesting at the same time I guess. Skipped a few days giving bio flores, did continue to give the booster though. Did some minor defoliation. Onto next week. Greetz Pangrow

Another week of watering has gone by, there's not much more to do. I'm cutting back on the bio Flores to only once this week, still giving green sensation and bio boost with each watering. Greetz Pangrow

Week 7 of flower finished! I may have cut back on nutrients to soon, plants are yellowing fast. But I'm not gonna increase the frequency, plants should be finishing in the next weeks. Picking dead leaves daily near the end of the week. The buds from one plant are starting to swell up nicely! Happy growing Pangrow

OOOOOooh you guys and girls should smell it, it's so good it makes my mouth water. Stopped gives nutes to the right plant, just continuing to water with bioboost. She is nearing dark time, checking up on trichomes every other day, still to many clear heads for now. The other plant is eating up it's own leaves fast so I will keep giving nutrients to this one. Week 9 of flower! I stopped giving Bio Flores to both plants now, the one which is staying in the tent will still be getting Green Sensation. The plant which is nearly ready isn't getting any drinks this week 😔 During the middle of the week I transferred one plant to the dark tent, trychomes looked cloudy enough to me with few amber coloured. After 72h of darkness she was defoliated before being cut and hanged to dry. Some of these branches are as big as my previous (small) autoflower 😝 She'll be dried at 15-16C with a humidity of 50%, hoping for a 10 day dry periode. Greetz Pangrow
