@Ferenc, Thanks! I really hope she heals up nicely - I know she is stunted a little bit but hopefully I will be able to get past it so I can know for next time what works and doesnt and in turn whoever looks at this will be able to gain that experience as well.
@HiGHLYDiGESTiBLE
South Park rules)))) for me substrates are very difficult. I do not use branded fertilizers and therefore constantly get problems with the soil or coco. you can simply replace the solution from the DVC in case of problems. and the substrate needs to be washed, which in my experience is equal to a new grow
@ArthurStotch, 1. I love the south park-esque name lmaoooo so fire..... 2. I am trying to look up substrates but no definition gives me a good understanding of what you mean. Are you refering to the chemical nutes I use or the medium?
The thing about coco/perlite is that it drains really well, so its near impossible to drown anything in it. The first time I grew in coco, i didnt know this and chronically underwatered. definitely do not be afraid to water, and don't let the top 2 inches get dry.
What was the source of your coco? was it bag or brick? did you buffer? this looks like it could be lockout from unwashed coco.
If things don't turn around in the next few days, I would restart the grow. Don't get discouraged. CocoForCannabis is a great online resource for this stuff.
@ThePotanist, Thanks for commenting !
It was Mothers Earth coco/perlite 70/30 mix - should be prewashed prebuffered but i buffered 2x anyways. with calmag for 8hours a piece. im not exactly sure how i should be watering it so i think i completely ruined it. i think i know what to do this time though. i am going to start a new grow in the next 2 days
