This sky/tri and Dogstar was started at the same time. About a week ahead of the pineapple and two ahead of the purple. If My calculations are close, the pineapple should over take 'em in weeks 4 or 5. The purple in 5 or 6. That's when the separation will take place, and the different strains will go under different lights. That's my strategy for big frosty buds. I'm predicting some dank smoke from these girls.
These girls really surpassed the others in height. Lot of foliage as well. In pre flower already. Will be switching up nutes and adding big bud to the menu. Gonna be a quality grow
Wow, second week of bloom stage, and really doing well. Third transplant beginning of the week, and bloom enhancing nutes from advance nutrients. I'm confident this is gonna be a quality grow.
So, another good week. Was hoping for a little more height than what we got this week, but foliage is great. As I said before, not expecting a real big yield out of this strain, but rather good quality flower. Budding out nice. Full of nice white pistils.
Not much more height coming from these girls, but really adding some density and thickness to the buds. Getting frosty as well. I'm expecting another 4 weeks before they're ready. I'm pretty happy with results thus far. Pretty much what I expected. I'm confident it's gonna be some good smoke.
Another great week! The girls are a little more thirsty. Probably as a result of lowering humidity in the grow room. I'm pretty sure my conditions are close to ideal for production of the best buds possible with the equipment I have. Buds are adding density. Am seeing some pistils begin to color. Girls seem to be happy.
Week six of bloom stage and I would say doing very well. Decreased humidity this week and stopped adding Big Bud. I'm thinking the decrease in humidity really caused the girls to start sucking some serious nutes through their root system. Buds thickened up and got really dense. May have got a slight nute burn, but nothing that's going to be detrimental. Buds are frosting right up with trichomes and looking great. Now, we just do what we can to increase trichome production and ripen up. Overall, another great week!
Really doing great. Buds are so heavy on one girl I'm using support to hold them up for optimal light. Main cola on the other is huge for such a small girl. Advanced Nutrients and Lushledlighting has made this an awesome grow.
Last week before flush and all is well. Buds are big, dense, and frosty. Got good color. I think these girls are just about ready. A week flush and keep checking trichomes. If they need to go a little longer, that's ok.
Flushed the sky/tri girls all week. Been watching trichomes. Still mostly all clear. Starting to get some amber ones, but I'm gonna keep them in the light a little while longer. Once I get more amber or milky trichomes it's lights out for a couple days in lower temps, then harvest time. Gonna be some good smoke!😉✌️
The initial effects were a pretty stoney cerebral high that evolved into deep relaxation until drifting off. The grow was amazing! More wet weight than I expected. Lost about two-thirds of it when it dried. Still very happy with this grow. Big dense frosty buds with a great aroma.
So, I started these sky/tri girls out 12/12 from seed. Started adding Advanced Nutrients week 3. Sometime between week 4 and 5 went into preflower and switched up to bloom stage nutes, and increased light intensity. Wow! Steady progression right up to harvest. Excellent quality flower. I'm confident it'll be even better after curing. Another great honor and privilege to have shared this grow on Grow Diaries. Thank you so much to the entire GD family. I really appreciate all of the comments, likes, and questions from everyone that checked out my grows. It is all of you that make this so worth while, and such a great honor to be a part of. I cannot even express how impressed I am with virtually every one of the grows I visited, and I tried to extend the same courtesy to everyone that scoped my grows so I hope I didn't miss anyone. Again, thank you to GD, the entire GD family, Advanced Nutrients, Mars Hydro, Feit Electric, and especially Lushledlighting. What a great experience!
@heizen,thanks so much for checking out my grow and the nice comments. Buds are starting to get frosty and all is well. Posted some new pictures if you're interested. Thanks again man. Happy holidays!
Which genetics is this? Oh I see, you could just take any photo-periodic with that bunch of light, almost full pro line of AN, and even it is 12/12 all the way, you will have those giant buds, wright? 😺
@@dreambomber, hey man, thanks for all the interest. Sky/Tri is made up of two pretty rare indica dominant hybrid strains. I started these girls out 12/12 from seed because I wanted to knock a month off total grow time. Actually, starting them out 12/12 cuts out about 4 weeks of veg stage. Usually go into preflower about weeks 4 or 5. As for light intensity, I start out low, and increase at preflower till I'm at 100%. I use only Advanced Nutrients from about 2 weeks into veg right to flush. Mixed substrate of 6 parts pro mix, 2 parts happy frog, and 1 part ocean forest. My associates are professional high end growers, breeders, and conesiuers so I have been very fortunate and blessed to get their advice, tips, and criticism. Hope this helps you out bro. Should be posting some new diaries tomorrow with all new strains. Hoping for another bountiful harvest of high quality medical marijuana.😉 Happy growing!☺️✌️
Hi there! I'm going to have my first non auto grow and wonder, if there somth I should know about photos, regarding I grew only autos before. And is it really matters to dim the lights from less to full gradually?
