Grow #3: Fastbuds Gorilla Cookies

So far so good! Gonna add some supplements to the water slowly but surely! Not much to look at now but loving that happy look!!! __________________________________________________________________________ Ok! I don't think Bushdoctor really needs much till the amended soil is depleted but I want to turbo boost these babies so I am experimenting. I added some supplements to my hydrogaurd! Will monitor closely for results __________________________________________________________________________ Man they are doing work! I saw alot of progress the day after I gave the feeding! Saw a great amount of growth! They are chugging along meow!!! Been working hard on Humidity regulation. Its harder than it looks. I can see how the dream would be to have that automated and controlled. I've learned much recently tho and continue to dial it in more and more. So much can easly affect it. Just opening a window in another room can change it. _________________________________________________________________________ Gave em another dose of goodies! They are looking so happy! the fan leaves are gonna be HUGE! I'm in love!!!! I replaced the pi with Goove monitors.... I don't like it as much but its nice to have my data back...Throwing the sensor in the humidity bag ruined it! I will post weekly charts just for fun! ________________________________________________________________________ **Also just pumped that I added a new tent today!!! Was tired of waiting for a whole harvest! trying to get a Veg AND Flower cycle going at the same time! Cut my waiting in half! and........ MORE PLANTS!!!!!! YAY!**

Everything is going great at the start of the week. I feel like I may need to give more water here soon, but I feel like I'm pretty in the zone with these babies! Been giving each pot 2.5 cups of water each night. Not sure the correct ratio, and trying to adjust to size of pot and plant as it grows. I always read people overwater, and they seem happy. I just dont know how exponentially the water needs grow. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Still chugging along. Not much to report. Waiting till Next week to LST but they are pretty ready now.

Todays the day! I actually probably waited to long. I shoulda done it earlier, but we will see how a little LST goes on these units! Lemme work my courage up to it with a few beers. Will post pics! _____________________________________________________________________________________________ I think LST went well. I grasp better the point to LST and how its pulling everything to an even canopy level. I think I did it pretty well, but now I see why you might start it earlier to get those main stems down more. I still don't understand which branches would be better to cut now, I will try to follow how they grow so I can "control" better what is growing. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Another small victory was that the runoff PH was 6.1! Exactly where I want it to be! And I noticed roots growing down at the base of the air-pots so the root-ball has encompassed the whole area! I wasn't sure where the roots where in development. I'm very happy to get LST going, and I'm excited to see these bad-boys pop back!!! __________________________________________________________________________________________ Things look great by the middle of Week 3! the LST went pretty well and they rebounded nicely. I decided to push my luck tonight and after tucking a bunch of leaves decided to adjust the main stalk on a plant and snapped the main stem halfway. I've been assured thinks will be ok, but i'm still mad at myself for forcing it. Gotta be gentle! Will have to watch and see what happens there 😭. I also decided tonight to give the girls some nutrients along with their supplements. easing in to things with 1ml of the GH trio to kick things off a bit earlier than I planned.... Gonna be interesting to see how they take it! So much suspense for the coming days!!!!! ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Thur I went in and removed a couple fan leaves that were blocking nodes. I notice that there is a bit of nitrogen in the leaves so I think Floragrow might have been too much, It might just be best to wait and just add bloom instead. I will monitor... The split stem also seemed to not slow the plant down at all and things have bouced back nicely and everything seems to be on track!

I just cant get over how well things are going!!!! I've come so far in only 3 generations of plants! Today I did my FIRST DEFOLIATION EVER!!!!! It went so well!!! Shout out to Bill Ward for having some good views to brush up on! My first grow I didnt have enough leaves to defol and last grow I was to scared to lol. This time I made them my bitch!!!! It was EASY! NEVER BE AFRAID OF YOUR PLANTS!!!! I'm tinkering with the light so they aren't super happy atm. I turned on the exhaust and the Vaporizer. I also raised the light to 2ft and will try to consistently keep the light at that distance. I bumped up the nuets to 2ml. I'm a little lower than my schedule called for but i might bump it this week. Gonna watch the ladies! I tested the runoff and its 6.1, perfect. Starting to see how the plant is gonna look. __________________________________________________________________________________________ The plants came down with some spots. i did some reading and i came to the conclusion that they needed a bit more cal-mag. I also had noticed some of the newer growth had reddish stems too. I checked my discords and that's what they thought too!!! I was going to bump it anyway bc I've seen alot of diaries on here with ALOT more Cal-mag than me. Otherwise they look great! I got them out tonight for a light watering and noticed they had grown like 4or5 inches! Go Baby Go! __________________________________________________________________________________________ I fed them this evening and gave them a small haircut for some light penetration. I put a few spacers in that I printed and they seemed to help salvage my LST. I think the stakes dont hold up to the plant. Next Grow I will use wire. Still monitoring the leaves and while its slowly spreading I don't think I will see the effects of the extra calmag for a while. I have double downed on my videos, working on editing and hope to really develop my dairies! __________________________________________________________________ Things are going great as we wrap up the week. The plants are almost fighting for space in the tent, and i'm dialing in how much water the pots hold, I think this is the sweet spot size. Defoliated about 20 leaves, just a trim and tuck. I didn't do well at LST at all this round, i noticed all the main stems are ramrod straight, but using the spacers seems to be making the plants into pretty nice lil trees. I think the best part is right around the corner!!! Its about to get very pretty up in there!

Looks great. Tent is pretty maxxed out! just seeing how much these ladies stretch and seeing if they are ready for this amount of Nuets. This is pretty much the end of the amendments from Bush Doctor. ___________________________________________________________ My friend came over, I'll call him 'The Defoliator'. He bravely jumped in there and chopped through all the madness! The ladys look great with a heavy defoliation and I even jumped in to do a bit of Super Cropping just to try an even out the canopy! I think the feed is exactly where it should be and everything looks PERFECT!!!!! Flowers are popping up all over and the canopy is full and lush! ____________________________________________________________ Plants are kicking ass! Enjoying the grow! Just hoping I have all the nutrients dialed in and life should be good! Seeing some really pretty flower action and I think there should be quiet a yield off this! The PH is coming out a bit high on the drain-off, which means there is a bit of a salt build up.. I might have to use the flush sooner than later.

Listen, when things are going great it feels weird! I'm following my feed chart and watching these beauties unfold! They are starting to smell rich and sparkles are starting to show!!!! I always fret over my babies but really they seem to be killing the game right now! Stay tuned....... On a side note i'm enjoying the hell outta learning to edit pics in adobe illustrator!!! __________________________________________________________________ Bit too much Nitrogen and they want MORE cal-mag! A grow gone right is a site to behold!!!!! I look upon my ladies with giddy glee!!! only problem is i'm a bit outta space in the canopy, but thats the best problem to have!!!! Got a new camera lens so I hope pics are more interesting now!! Everything is great. Tent is getting stinky! Couple spots on some leaves so I added a bit more Calmag, but we are just coasting down the hill at this point! All the buds are fattening nicely and I'm looking forward to smoking soon!!! __________________________________________________________________ I'm pretty sure its just fade, but there are some brown spots around the flower. The lower growth is GREEEEEEN. I'm not worried at all and you can see I'm getting lovely photos! I took a sniff tonight and it smelt so good my toes curled a little!!! The ladies are glorious to behold, seriously, the flower is really blossoming and getting FAT! Getting there baby! my hope is to feed them GH Ripen next week then flush a week and be done! ______________________________________________________ My friend "The Defoliator" came by and helped me to see even MORE haircuts to give! I think I've set my Defolate schedule to a bit on week 3, alot on week 6 and a little more on 8 or 9. Buds are looking great and I'm hoping my schedules are going to work! ______________________________________________________ They are drinking it all up and asking for more! Just letting it do its thing at this point!

Well! I'm hella nervous about using ripen! but wth! science baby!!! The buds are pretty great, the trichomes aren't ready yet but there are 1 or two ambers. Very curious to see what this ripen does to things! If anything! ______________________________________________________________________________ Week is almost over! The ripen has been helpful, I don't think the buds have swelled DRAMATICALLY more, but the fade is Very nice! The buds are pretty much ready, I think in 2 or 3 more days it will be just about time. I would possibly let the lower buds develop longer but I have got to get my Veg babies moved over ASAP! Right now I think the tent is just taking a victory lap an there isn't much to do but put the baby to bed!!!!!! YAY!!!! _______________________________________________________________________________ I'm pretty damn pleased with things! I'm gonna chop em! If i had more time I'd let em go a bit longer, but they are ready enough to send out the door!!! I'm glad i added the Ripen! I think it did a decent job and it gave me a cheap week of waterings! The final runoff PH was 6.6 so i'm glad to see it never spiked crazy high! Gonna let them soak a bit more and in 2 days take em down! Its gonna be a project!!!!

Well My friends gave me a bigger tent so I got a little more time to let them develop! I'm very ready to take them down just waiting a bit longer for a few more amber trichomes. I'm still feeding them ripen but i wish last week i'd given them a feed in addition too. They look nice in the new tent, there is loads more room, and while the lighting didn't go up as much as I'd like, They have a nice big fan oscillating on them now and room to stretch. ________________________________________________________________ I suppose I'm glad I waited. I wanted to take a few more pics and get one last video in! I'm def seeing a bit more amber in the trics and i think it will make em a bit better for these 2 extra waterings! Probably gonna chop them soon!!!!

Took about 3 hours per plant. I see now why you just dont wanna bother with LARF. Will def lolipop more! There was alot of bud to hang up! I had to use the 3x3 tent and pretty much all of it! Gonna dry for a week or so then cure for a week! Still a ways out! ________________________________________________ After a week cure I sent alot of this out the door! Everyone LOVES it and cant get enough!!! I havent even given out the creme-de-creme buds! I'm so happy and satisfied with this generation of plants! Will definitly get more Gorilla Cookies from Fastbuds!!!
