Lil ones gaining strength, transplant monday? To 5 gal...Taking trip to Arizona for thanksgiving so should be a pleasant return to see some big growth.
So did a transplant into 2 five gallon and 1 big old 15 gal bag. Super cropped and cracked off on tip off needed to tape. Looks to recovering well. Shooting for another week before I flip to flower. Happy grows.
Anchors in, getting trellis in before the flip to flower this weekend. Time is flying know have a feeling these are going to have some nice structure. Happy grows!
Day 2 of flower put in netting , did a trail of microbe before switching nutrients over more potassium based nutes. Installed trellis bent plants wide and level. Middle 15 gal is very appealing structure with a cool 4 stalk main line I’ll get more pics as I trim bottom leaves and plants form through trellis
So day 15 of flower plants look awesome, middle one is just trained so well other 2 just lack the light and growth size medium that the 15 gal gets. Well may be purchasing electric sky v300 to solve my problems;)
Day 23 of flower Seeing purple hues coming in on my middle passion fruit, some very nice skunky smells starting to come. Should be smoothing sailing from here.
Day 30 of flower, boom colors came in on the middle passion very cologne skunk like smell coming in rn. Managing ph/ tds in middle 15 gal has been no problem so much easier to do, I’ve been re using my fox farms mix for few grows been working well. Want to start hydro next grows. I am a lab tech at a chemical plant I have access to all equipment to build a nice hydro setup. I already get raw chemicals and testing equipment for my grows;)
Day37 of flower Just another week in the office... my powder concentrate in for final feeding weeks, tds and ec in range, battling powdery mildew. Removing effected areas. Room mates don’t know concept of leaving a door open.
Day 44: So added another fan been battling white mold. Not doing any flushing as I am using microbe. Should be seeing some real busy girls these next few weeks
Day 59 of flower: So put og in dark period, had some type of fungus I’ve been fighting all grow I didn’t clean my tent from last grow and my trellis, my trellis must have had live mold spores on it from my last grow I was dealing with problem. Anyways still very happy result with other 2 strains kind of more resilient than the og. Should be the last week.
Definitely some nice rock hard indica buds, deep sour sent mixed with a sweet cereal taste very smooth with a good bite some old fruit smell too, but just some crack egg buds very colorful and hairy
Just very happy with the structure of the plant and how well it was maintained. Was very worried during drying and cure as I lost a lot of terpene and became woody and until 10 days of curing the smell and taste just totally evolved into very desirable terpene. Very happy strain if you want “rock hard egg shaped buds” this is your go to, the main line did wonders. Will be trying this strain again when I upgrade light
Extreme problems with mildew with this plant. With the heat issues from growing in winter in a warm house had negative effect on everything with big temp swings. Lots of stress on this grow and with this plant specifically. Still had very candy pungent smell like harsh still not bad smoke. Definitely picked too early to salvage.
some good flushing too lower ppm and stabilize ph, dissolve solids by roots. I feel a nutrient isn’t being dissolved prior in h2o. Causing buildup and problems. Flushing did wonders just going make this plant take way longer. Haven’t had hermis either. Luckfully. Quality looks like it hasn’t missed a swing. Not bad looking yield. Major lockout and stress from me not being around and having somebody unexperienced tend to plants finally rebounded. And have some nice growth. Buds look and smell amazing. Chopping when I stop seeing pistils on lower buds . Trichromes finally milky and slightly amber.
Good gas berry, ph problems. Under yielded. Should’ve been flushing between cycles of veg to flower. Learn next time do a flush mid grow just to stabilize soil from any solid build up at roots. That is if I choose to stay in a medium rather than adapt to hydro system. Which would probably be more up my alley but. With soil I don’t have to be present and can leave on vacation for 5 days. Rather than hydro, you better be checkin daily. Great smoke regardless very awesome looking nugs with lightest purple. Caked with crystals. Smooth smoke. Great high. Awesome. Will grow again.
