Planted the seed into the soil on 11/1, seed broke the soil on 11/4. Planted in FFOF amended with 30% pumice and 1cup/cubic ft of dolomite lime, 3/4gal FFHF w/ 30% pumice as starter soil. Seed sprouted very quickly, and is growing fast already! Giving her increasing amounts of water each day, currently at 300ml per 24hr as of day 6. Water pH 6.4, EC 0.1.
Started feeding nutrients at 1/8th the recommended dose. Using Nectar For The Gods this round because it is all organic and not salt based, so I can start feeding earlier and hopefully she will stay healthy from the beginning! Growth is very vigorous, faster than any of my previous plants. She’s already up to 4 nodes at less than two weeks old. Feed pH 6.3, EC 0.4. Microbial pH 6.7, EC 0.4.
She’s already finishing up her 5th node, and her fan leaves are almost touching the edges of the pot! The most vigorous, healthy growth I’ve seen from a plant. Defoliated the two original true leaves because they were touching the medium, but other than that just a lot of love and leaf tucking. BK foliar every 3 days. Feed pH 6.3, EC 0.54. Flush 5.5ml/gal Herc, 1ml SLF-100, 1ml Hygeia pH 6.3, EC 0.346.
Nothing really new to say... just fast growth! Began LST and defoliation, focusing on only defoliating lower node fan leaves and larf sites. Feed pH 6.3, EC 0.58. Microbial pH 6.5, EC 0.4.
There’s absolutely nothing stopping this monster. After a hugely successful week of training, she’s beginning to grow vertically and stack flowering sites one on top of the other. Only a matter of time until she starts getting thicker! Each cola has 2-5 nodes worth of flowering sites. Feed pH 6.2, EC 0.5.
She’s been stacking super fast and I think she may become the biggest and highest yielding plant I’ve grown thus far. Each cola has 3 nodes minimum. I love mephisto genetics. Beginning mid-flower nutes now. Flush pH 6.4, EC 0.33. Feed pH 6.5, EC 1.01.
Thickening up nicely! Saw some deficiencies starting to creep up in some lower leaves so I increased the feed strength from 1/2 to full. Only up from here. Feed pH 6.4, EC 1.6.
Flower are still thickening up with each passing day. Trichomes are starting to look more and more milky, but there are still a considerable amount of clear trichomes. The densest trichome coverage I’ve seen on a plant in person. Ever cola had filled up nicely and it gives off the scent of grape candy and rubber. Some minor N and cal def symptoms here and there, but I’m feeding heavy, flushing, and giving microbes regularly so I’m not concerned at all. Overall the plant is very healthy. Feed pH 6.6, EC TBD.
She’s starting to fade! Some of the heaviest trichome-laden flowers I’ve ever grown. Very strong smell of sweet dark fruit/grapes and burnt rubber/must. Incredible amount of thickness on the colas, at least 2” diameter for every single one. Expecting 2+oz easily off this plant, and some super potent medicine. Feed pH 6.3, EC 1.5.
She’s getting ready to chop! Leaves are finally starting to fade heavily and die, a few amber trichomes have started to form. She is so fragrant and frosty, pure fruit and must. Feed pH 6.2, EC 1.75. Microbial pH 6.5, EC 0.6.
She’s coming down at the end of this week! All faded, amber trichomes mixed in, and smelling like musty kush grapes! This is the best looking plant I’ve ever grown not to mention the healthiest. Very excited for harvest!!!
Chopped at day 84. Yielded 73g flower and 15g trim. Smells very strongly of gas that burns the nose hairs, but has pungent undertones of grape candy and musty earth. When vaped the taste of grapes comes forward with the earth and the gas is more subdued. Strong pressure behind the eyes and a focusing energy. Made me want to get up and do things, but also made me feel like I could relax if I wanted to. Strong muscle relaxation coupled with anxiety relief, mood boost, and pain relief. In higher doses though, it gave me crazy munchies and made me absolutely MELT into the couch. Great anytime strain as long as you know your dosages. Bag appeal is out of this world, nose and taste are there, it’s extremely potent, and to top it off it was the easiest plant to grow ever. Incredibly satisfied with this plant.
Chopped her at exactly 12 weeks old. She was covered completely in good sized and trichome laden flowers, absolutely no larf whatsoever. Fan leaves stuck out clearly and were quite easy to remove, minimal processing needed for this strain. Gives off the scent of kushy must and sweet fruit. Extremely easy grow, heavy feeder, and very easy to train out perfectly. I will grow this strain again soon.
thought I’d let you know I was going back and forth deciding if I should order some CDLC or double grape seeds for my first try with mephisto and this post tipped it in double grapes favor, I also use herculean harvest so hopefully I get close to as good as this😅
