Cubes were soaked in a voodoo juice solution to get the “good fungus” on the plants and help the clones take root.
Clones looked strong on day 3. No signs of roots yet though. Spraying every day with 6.4 ph water and i opened vents on dome about 40% on day 3. I wish i bought taller cloning kits. These clones had to be cut short
I have them in the veg tent because the humidity is already at about 60 so just in case i drop the ball on watering, it will still be relatively humid, especially sunce they are in the humidity dome. The veg tent also gets fresh air with the use of an exhaust fan and i want that for my youngins
——————————————-
Grow area was too cold and most of the initial clines died.
I cut more clones and planted them directly into soil after i prepared them.
They seem to be growing a bit so I believe they are rooted.
Plenty of dead clones due to the cold.
A warmer room has really made the clones root better.
They will need to be reverted from the flowing stage.
Planted in happy frog soil.
I finally learned to successfully clone.
Plenty more will be added soon enough
Finally got them to successfully clone.
Plenty more will be added soon enough
They will stay in veg just long enough for me to take a clone from each one.
This will give me a smaller yield buy i am still expecting about an ounce per plant
Transplanted into final 2gal pots
Planted in happy frog soil.
Completely different grow done from seed of the same strain.
Germinated june 29th and is currently in week 1 of flower.
Veg time was 4 weeks(date of first sprout)
Flower started AUG 8th.
Experiment:
3 plants were topped as an experiment to see what the superior form of SoG was for me
I should have topped them all😒
Less stripping done this week but i removed potential branches from the bottom 1/3rd of a few plants.
This strain really took off on Week 2 of flower. Nitrogen toxicity killled 3 plants. N toxicity came from miracle grow soils slow release fertilizer.(i mixed it with happy frog due to budget).
Flushing immediately seemed to fix n toxicity.
I waited a couple of days to see if Problem would work itself out. It did not
Plants that were flushed early on lived.
The others did not bounce back.
Experiment complete.
Conclusion:Don't add N during weeks 2+ of flower
Final branch and leaf stripping of bottom 1/3rd of plants.
Small dead spots on leaves have been attributed to to much Calcium. I was recently advised that calcium shouldn’t be given during flower unless a deficiency is spotted. No more calcium from this point forward
Bigger plants are on the outside. Smaller plants are in the middle.
I dropped a light and killed off 2 more plants. The grow was saved due to the trellis netting being placed well above where it should be. Luckily that saved the plants from the full weight of the mars hydro ts3000( friggin Newb😒)
Experiment:
One plant was removed so it can be self pollinated.
Started spraying 19 days into flower
I expect pollen sacs to form during week5.
Experiment: plants that were topped are doing better than all other plants. This may be do to me having to strip them less than the others. Topped plants are about the same size as the biggest normal plants except each one has 4 nice colas.
Day1 week 4, plants are doing great. Still spraying one plant for seeds
Differences in phenotypes are showing. Some plants are 24 inches tall, others are 16.
Majority of plants have started to fatten bud sites.
Wind burn has been identified. I overlooked plants growing to close to oscilating fan
I misjudged how much light was to much for my plants in the center of the tent. 2 tops were lightburned. I raised the lights. I need to switch from a lux reader to a Par reader.
3 plants are showing nutrient sensitivities. I will water those With lower PPM(300).
The rest will get 900PPM
Small black bugs are everywhere in the tent. I will continue to spray neem oil
Watered 6Sep
One plant is 36inc tall
1 plant hermied
Day 2, the co2 solenoid balve isnt releasing co2. Switching to am open tent to allow fresh air in untill co2 can be fixed.
Buds are gaining weight
Suffering aphid and thrip damage
Applying Green clean to leaves for pest control
I should have defoliated the bottom of the plants better.
Re-filled pots with dirt.
Switched to athena blended nutrients
Buds are still gaining weight
Trimmed some dying leaves.
Day3 week7
Some phenos already have orange hairs, others are still white.
The ones that were topped are all 24-25inch tall
Day6 week7
The ones that grew normal are 30-33inch.
Two phenos got about 45inch after fightin for space during stretching phase.
Feminzed plant is showing pollen sacks(started spraying end of w1)
After weeks 2 it is to late
I will isolate it with plants that i want to use for my next generation of seeds
Flushing started in increments according to pistill colors.
Plants that were heavily defoliated are not asfruitful.
I removed to many branches and not enough leaves.
Plants ppm runoff were exceeding 1500 on multiple, indicating nute burn.
Most plants had bugs under the leaves.
Plants that were topped(not fimmed) are the most manageable. Buds are still sizeable but not overly big.
Plants are pretty dense with most pistilla being orange on the buds.
Flushing with only water
1 gallon pots need 20 minutes of flushing to go to 30-80ppm
All plants had runoff over 1000ppm. They may have been approaching nutrient lockout
