For each:
Mycotrex > 4 grams ~10cm deep below seed and 1g around seed
4 gallon/
1 day old not PHed tap water for starters
-------------------------------Deutsch----------------------------------------------------
Jeweils:
Mycotrex > 4g ca. 10cm unter dem Samen verteilt und 1g direkt darunter
15 Liter Smart Pots
1 Tag abgestandenes Leitungswasser ohne PH Regulierung zum angiessen
2020-11-10: all three seeds show signs of life
Finally all got rid of their little hats and are looking healthy. TD 3(drooping cotyledon) needed a bit of help so I removed the seed shell with tweezers.
Note: The Mycotrex is listed as nutrient because it resides around the shell and than again 10cm below it.
2020-11-12: 1l nutrient solution with 0.5ml of Bia Canna Vega since the soil is Light Mix without any nutrition. I also lowered the light since they were stretching a bit. Light at 25% intensity.
2020-11-14: 300ml ph adjusted water each
2020-11-15: Raised light intensity to 50%
2020-11-17: 300ml ph adjusted water each
TD1: 7cm
TD2: 5.5cm
TD3: 7cm
The Bio Vega is applied once a week as commented here. Rest of the feedings are degassed and PHed water.
The top soil dries out in about 2 days and is still moist beneath on the 3rd. It should be enough to
keep feeding 300ml every 3 days. Starting next week I'll raise the amount of water to a limit that allows the roots
to expand into nearly the entire smart pot.
Position of the LED will not be changed until the distance lamp to plants shrinks to 45cm. Light intensity still at 50%.
2020-11-19:
TD1: 7.5cm, got a feeling that she slowed down a little bit ...
TD2: 6.5cm, picked up some pace, growing good 👍
TD3: 7.5cm, growing good as well, best of the three for now
2020-11-20: 1l water with 0.5ml BioCanna Bio Vega devided between all of them(333ml for each)
TD1: that feeling got real ... My first guess is that the bottom soil dried out too much on the outer perimeter. Will see how she looks a few hours after the feeding
TD2/3: still growing good
2020-11-22:
- raised lights to 60cm since the tipps of the new growth look light in color for TD1. Just to outrule too much light as the source of trouble for TD1
TD1: 8cm, still troubled, growing slowly
TD2: 7cm, made not much height but beefed up a lot 💪
TD3: 10cm, best plant in the tent. Made a lot of height AND beefed up 👌
2020-11-23:
My PH meter was off by +0.2 and I remember to have watered with kind of a low PH the other days. Minus the offset the max PH should have been at 6.4 and below.
TD2/3 look kind of discoloured. Dark veins and the rest is lighter in color but htey still grow decently if not to say fast. TD1 slowed down significantly in growth.
Counter measures are the adjustment of my PH meter and watering with 2l of water at a PH of 6.9. The 2l are devided between all three.
2020-11-24:
TD1: 8.5cm, starting to grow again I think ...
TD2: 8.5cm, developing good
TD3: 10.5cm, developing good as well
2020-11-25: TD2/3(we dont talk about 1 anymore or at least not much😰) seem to have an overall deficency but they still grow nicely.
I thought I could supplement BioRhizotonic with Mycotrex but it seems(though both are root stimulants) that Mycotrex is the "helper"
to absorp nutrients. Now I fed them with the nutrients shown for the week. 3l devided between the three(TD1 got a lot less but hell ...)
If I got anything wrong here - please correct me by all means. I'm here to learn!
I will keep my little freak(TD1) around just to see how far she can recover. If she can at all.
2020-11-26:
The internodal spacing seems a bit short(~1cm). Not too say I would like to see a little bit more stretch. Sounds weird - can't help it xD
So I raised the lights to 70cm.
TD1: didn't bother to measure since I see only little progress
TD2: 9cm and nice side shoots, beefy little girl
TD3: 12cm bigger but could be taller still. Nice side shoots as well
2020-11-27(Day 17): After all I feel satisfied with the overall result, even TD1 starts to grow again. I still would like to have them taller so I raised the light again by 10cm(to 80cm minus the new growth 😭)
TD1: 9.5 cm - starts to show signs of life again 👏
TD2: 11cm stretched nicely as wished for, starts to develop signs of preflower - a bit early for my taste at the end of this week I'll know if I >could< get rewarded. 😀
TD3: 12.5cm still my favorite - no signs of preflower so far
2020-12-02: Same feeding as last week. Both grow still strong although TD2 could be a hermie. I'll waiting a little longer to be sure.
I thought about a bit of LST but they are soooo thick and stacked that I dare not to. Tried a bit of leaf tucking instead.
TD2: 16.5cm, not sure yet but could be a hermie
TD3: 17.5cm, still the strongest of the lot
2020-12-05: Rest in peace TD2. No hermies in my house! ;-)
TD3: 22cm The last of the lot. I decided to do my very first LST and took of some leaves that blocked side shoots despite
the fact that it could cost me even the last plant. No risk no fun for now...
2020-12-06: Saint Nicholas stole some leaves. Kidding! I went a step further and defoliated. Reduced plant to lamp distance to 60cm
2020-12-07: Worked on LST.
2020-12-09(day 29): Fed 3l with BioBoost. LSTed and defoliated a little. This will be the last time I harrest the lady.
She is free to grow as she likes from now on.
2020-12-13(day 33): Simple watering with 3l of ph'ed water - she's hungry I would say. Although I wanted to leave her be -
I couldn't. She was so bushy that I decided to defoliate her one last time! Promised! 😇😁
2020-12-16(day 36): 38cm, got a feeding of 3l ph'ed water. She's stretching now as expected (~2cm a day). I think about introducing bloom at the end of the week
but I might wait until she stops to stretch. Opinions welcome! Aah - and I left her be as I promised 😋 No more defoliation and/or LST
2020-12-19(day 39): 39cm, first buds are forming, looking good. Fed her with 3l of nutrient solution(8ml BioBoost, 1.5ml BioRhizotonic, 0.75ml Terra Aquatica pH-)
2020-12-21(day 41 4:30am): 43cm and she's drooping a little - the pot is not light enough for my taste though. But it's early in the day so I might feed her again in the evening.
2020-12-21(day 41 1:20pm): fed 5l with 10ml of BioVega, last time for the veg nutrient
2020-12-23: She got really bushy again. So I defloiated and/or lollipopped her as well as applied some LST. The defoliation was necessary because I found some spots where the leaves
were overlapping and building up moisture. I'm curious if she will make me regret this step. 🙏😁 From now on I will leave her be - again! 😂
2020-12-29: My lady stopped stretching. Some deficincies are visible so I gave her 4l of nutrient solution as stated under "Nutrients". Buds grow bigger now.
2020-12-31(day 51): Gave her 4l of nutrient solution as described under "Nutrients". Switched from FishMix to Grow as recommended. Not
much else to say. She's doing fine I think.
Edit: I wish a healthy start into the New Year.🙏
2021-01-03(day 54): Not much to say. Just checked on her.
2021-01-04(day 55): Fed with 3l of nutrient solution.
2021-01-06(day 57): Entering the 5th week of flowering all looks pretty good. She's still budding up and smelling beautifully. Fed her with 2.5l of ph'ed water.
I also defoliated her so the light can reach the lower buds.
2021-01-09(day 60): Fed with 3l nutrient solution as given above.
2021-01-12(day 63): Fed with 3.5l of ph'ed water. Looks like she's putting some weight on! 😁 Trichome pictures are for test purposes.
2021-01-15(day 66): Fed with 3.5l of nutrient solution as given above.
2021-01-17(day 68): After introducing the last stage of the BioBizz nutrient scheme see fattens up nicely. I'm already excited how fat she will become in the end.
Proud of her already! 😍
2021-01-20(day 71): Fed with 3.5l of ph'ed water. Trichomes are mostly cloudy but the amber is still missing except on the sugar leaves. Since I'm looking for a bit more than 10% amber for a nice couch lock
I will check her every 2 days from now on. I'm guessing that I'll flush her at the start of next week an harvest in a little less then 3 weeks. But that's just a guess. trichomes are king and they will tell me what I have to do. 😋
Opinions and tipps are welcome. Have a green one everybody! 🙏
2021-01-23(day 74): Fed with ~3l of nutrient solution(see "Nutrients"). Probably the last feeding - we'll see.
2021-01-26(day 77): She got flushed today. She already shows strong deficiencies without flush. Now she got until next tuesday. After that she will have 2-3 days of darkness and get cut.
2021-01-30(day 81): After she got flushed 4 days ago she now goes into two or three days of darkness. Next and probably last pictures will be uploaded after this dark period. Have a green one everybody.🙏
I'm happy to say that I got THIS lucky. My overall expectations have been WAY lower then the outcome actually was. I got to learn a lot from my mistakes and imporved some skills I think. What really improved is my patience. Some time ago this plant would have been harvested weeks ago. One big bonus in my humble opinion. Next grow is already running. See you there. 🙏😀
